"true, I'll go inform khamir"
-You leave the room to go find your secretary-
"drop the prison job, something more important has come up. A colleague of mine is being followed. I need you to safely secure and retrieve her. Street clothes, and hide your arm. We don't want this coming back to us on this one, so you can't look like an enforcer. This one is a very important investment to me I don't want dieing early, so I'm counting on you for this."

You had been drawing some things up on some grid paper for the prison job, using your prosthetic. You figured the using the guidelines, you could get the lines reasonably straight, and still practice the fine control...
But broken lead where you had been working pointed to another problem; pressure sensitivity. It seems like either you press too hard, and snap the lead, or not hard enough, and your lines come out too faint. At least you're not out and out breaking the pencil like you used to before, though. How many times had you been splattered with ink trying to use pens?
Anyway, you set the pencil down, gently, and nod. "I'll be there right away sir. What's the address, and what matter of transportation would you prefer me to use? I don't have my own ship, and if we're trying to keep this away from enforcer channels, I doubt the windows at the academy would be a good option..."

"Hobbes will fill you in on the exact location details as well as target information. As for transportation....the job in on alternia so I'll have to drop you off just outside the city. From there you can take my car, just for the love of the gods be careful with it. It's got a fresh set of rotating plates so you won't have to worry about getting pinned. Oh, and be careful for clowns and such...they are known to be used by the people we suspect are tracking her"
-Daxton took a seat nearby to look over his work- "I'll have my guy look into adjusting the sensitivity in your arm"

It was hard to tell with Khamir just having gotten started, but it looked like he had the beginnings of a solid plan in the works.
"That would be very appreciated sir." Khamir smiled at him before going back to the matter at hand. "One last question; will the target voluntarily come with me, or will this be more of a kidnapping situation?"

"It should be voluntary, she contacted us about this. A word of warning on her though...she's one of those latent psionics that believe they have magic, so be prepared for oddities around her." *Daxton replied straightening his shades* "oh, and an indigo blooded associate thats usually close by. She's the one we are mainly concerned with, but if the Indigo needs assistance as well...it can't hurt to have a little muscle around"
It seemed to Khamir that Hobbes and Daxton were playing with fire if Daxton thought it might be useful to have more muscle around. Though what kind, he wasn't sure yet. "That's no problem. Playing chauffeur is nothing I haven't done before. I'll have one or the both of them back here without incident."
"good man, go get the rest of the information from hobbes then grab any gear you might need from storage and get to the vehicle bay. I'm going to start up the ship and get us on our way"
*and that he did, standing he made his way over to the controls and got them set off for alternia. Just outside the city with the building maxele was holed up in*

Khamir went to go and do that.
The city Swaije lived in now was no bustling metropolis, but neither was it a lazy suburb. It was laid out in a spoke shape, with the densest mass of buildings in the middle, and tapering out as they neared the edges. Swaije lived in towards the middle, so it would be a little bit of a drive to get her, but that also meant it would be easier to lose any tail she may or may not have.
It didn't take Khamir long to get what he needed. He came back wearing a hoodie and some gloves to hide his arm, and his shades carefully stowed away in his pocket. Not having them on made him feel weirdly exposed, and vaguely uncomfortable.
Hobbes was still in the room Daxton had left her in, pouring over papers and looking for any leads she might have missed.

"we've arrived, look sharp" *daxton replied, tossing him the keys to his aston martin* "The car is a little different than your standard model, as I'm sure you've guessed. The same guy that makes your arms has had some hand in modifying it for me....so you should be able to handle things in it if anything shady does go down"
Khamir caught the keys with his flesh hand, tucking them in his pocket. He grinned. "Should be fun, then. I'll be back shortly; contact me if anything changes."
He may have done a little victory dance when he saw the car. ~He got to drive Daxton's car~!
[Hobbes]
"Is it bad I almost hope there's something to what Swaije was saying about being followed, just so we have a new lead?"

"one second hobbes"
-Daxton tapped a small button and spoke over this ships intercom- "I can see you on the monitors Khamir. Do. Not. Even. Think. About. Scratching. That. Car."
-with that taken care of he turned back to hobbes-
"that would be nice wouldn't it. I mean the timing certainly matches up with something Yvicke might have his graspers in"

Khamir immediately turned a really impressive shade of blue, and immediately got in the car. It took him a second to start the engine, and then he was gone.
"I'd be surprised if that weren't the case. It was Maxele Swaije was involved with, and Maxele was one of Yvicke's associates." Hobbes then snickered. "And maybe Khamir isn't so bad after all. That look on his face was priceless."

"out of my men....he's one of the good ones. Although I would never actually admit that within ear shot of him. His heads in the right place, and he shows a good degree of skill"
[Hobbes]
"If you're vouching for him like that... then maybe I'll cut him a little more slack." A wry smile reached her face. "There's something I never thought I'd do; trust an enforcer a little more because a different one vouched for him."

"It's strange times we live in hobbes, and somehow I feel...they may just get stanger. Which means we really need to come up with a new plan of attack"
"I know. I called Rhuteb to see if he has any ideas... he thinks that if we find who planted the bombs, we might have a lead. Yvicke doesn't do the dirty work himself, so if we find out who did... we might be able to shake out some answers."
It did not take long for Khamir to reach the building where Swaije and Nietve lived. It was already a pretty populated area with cars lining the streets... still though, he glanced around to see if there were any trolls watching the building from inside their cars or anything like that. Couldn't hurt to be cautious, but he kept it superficial.
To any outsider, he was just a regular troll going in.

-There was the average hustle and bustle of a city center, a few odd characters here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary for a city so far-
"think it could be a plant in the enforcers, the colony, or an outsider?"
-Daxton was loathe to think one of his men would betray him, but with Yvicke anything was possible-
"and should we worry about Rhuteb if he's still involved at all, or can he handle himself if anything nasty comes his way?"

You go in, and have a brief chat with Nietve and Swaije before leaving the building with both of them in tow. Once you get in, you do a quick EMP burst to disable tracking devices that might have been planted on the vehicle, and pull out.
You decide to take the scenic route for a bit, to see if anyone's following you.
