"I'll come back to check on you soon," Guiseppe smiled at him, before vanishing in a cloud of maroon smoke.

Commander Blueberry gave a polite nod, and then disappeared as well, sans a poof of smoke. He was simply gone.

"I think that went well," Hobbes told Daxton when they were gone, coming over to show her husband some affection in the form of leaning on him slightly.

"better than I'd imagined it would have gone actually. I thought for sure we were going to have had a fight on our hands after the initial reception. Still...that did go rather well, thank you for your parts, both of you" *Daxton replied, both nodding to Hobbes, and the Golem. Not wanting to dis-value their part either, even if just by a tool*

*After a quick last check around the room for any leftover traces of Nallva's soul that he might have missed, he finally let down the barrier on the door and regained his hand*
"much better....now then, shall we dig through her crap a little before bringing the scarf back to Ricky?"
"Sure thing, boss," Quente said, and sat on the edge of the bed.

Hobbes shot her a questioning look, but she wasn't too versed in golemancy. "Sure. We should be careful, though... I think there're some cursed items in there."
*Daxton was just openly staring at the golem* "wait...did it just....can they even...how?" *Daxton stammered out to hobbes, not ready to pass over the golem talking all of a sudden just yet*
Hobbes shrugged and was going to answer that she had no clue, but Quente had more to say.

"Do ya know what a golem is, boss?" Quente asked him. And, the way she said it, she gave the impression that it was a trick question.
"I'm familiar with the idea of one, but you are my first time interacting with one, if that's what you mean" *Daxton replied to the construct "however in none of what I've heard has there ever been talk of one well....talking. So you can forgive my surprise if you will"
She pretended to examine her nails, leaning back on the bed a bit. She was definitely not posing at all, because that would be ridiculous. "Golems can talk, but generally speaking we can only give simple answers, if prompted. Buuut, since you pumped so much magic in me, I've got a little more self control than that now."

She seemed super pleased about this.
"huh.....Neat!" *Daxton replied with an almost chipper smile* "Not nessisarily my intention, however I won't turn away a happy accident~" *Daxton replied walking over to the golem, and waving a hand over her. Taking a closer look at her again, running a sort of more in depth magic diagnosis* "oh....but whats this? Hmmm I can almost faintly "faintly" feel a soul bouncing around in that lovely new form of yours"
"Well yes, all golems are powered by souls," she said flatly. "I've always been a person." She huffed, but then side eyed Daxton. "Though. I hadn't known that taking in more energy would affect my seals in such a way. If I'd known, I would have hooked myself up much sooner." She grinned in a very cat like way. "But enough about me; I'd like to hear about you and that lovely lady there."
"You say to the two people with no obvious knowledge on golems, as if they might be experts on the subject and might know such things. *Daxton replies just as flatly to the first comment, not entirely pleased at the somewhat rude tone. However he quickly drops this for the second question, adopting another smile*
"Us? Well, we are just your average newly wed couple, enjoying a lovely stay in honey-moon in our new home we purchased. And hey, if we happen to find a way among the notes of the previous owners of this place, to return my wife's currently seperated soul to her body while here, well that would be just peachy!"
Quente stuck her tongue out at him, but looked amused. And curious; she looked Hobbes over. "Huh. Well, in that case... I'll help you. And her. Cause you're both pretty cute, and I can be a sucker for pretty faces.

"Hasche did a lot of magic that involved souls, particularly taking them out of things and putting them into other things. Kept stacks and stacks of notes, but those are all down in the basement/workshop, under lock and key."

She kicked her feet a little, enjoying the freedom of being able to wiggle her toes.
*Daxton cocked an eyebrow, then turned and smiled at his wife* "You remember things from then, and know of his work? Excelent, that could be quite useful. Thank you for sharing with us. You did mention the notes being under lock and key....what sort of lock and what sort of key if you don't mind my asking?"
"It's a normal enough looking key, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't magical some how. The lock certainly was, anyway. I don't know the details of it, but Hasche kinda went for the overly complicated, convoluted style where if you don't know what you're doing... bad things happen. There's like, I think some kinda magical airlock down there? Or maybe a couple? That key's important."
"still usefull to know, all the same. Perhaps Ricky's notes can tell us more after we deliver the scarf to him.....speaking of......"
*You walk over to the cabnet Hobbes had been standing by, looking over the other contents besides the scarf*
There's a collection of dresses in there, first and foremost, along with her shoes on the bottom panel. These don't look particularly magical to you, but there's a pair of gloves that catch your attention.

They smell like magic, the subtle sort that isn't inherently good or bad. They're lilac in color, with lace trim, and resting on a velvet cushion.

There's a collection of vials, as well. It looks like different types of blood from different creatures... and behind them, a box that has heavy warding magic on it. There's no lock and no chains on it, but it has been magically sealed.
-Daxton was no vampire, so the blood held little of his attention....nor the dresses. The box and the gloves however....those were interesting. Interesting however...also usually meant potentially dangerous-

*Getting a little closer Daxton decided to attempt to taste a sample of the magics surrounding the gloves and the box, attempting to determine how safe they were to even touch before he made an attempt to move them*

*He also did a quick check, of the cupboard itself as well, looking for any sort of demon trap or binding device before he delved too deeply into it. Call him paranoid, but the women did enslave demons...such things did not seem too far removed from reality as possibilities if she was looking to protect her belongings from them*
The gloves definitely had a kind of magic that activated on touch. It wasn't an intense kind of magic, but the sort that worked subtly, growing stronger over time. They didn't seem overtly dangerous; the magic on them felt like mind manipulation magic, to put it simply.

If prodded further, he would learn that they were completely harmless to whoever was wearing them.

The box, however... was a different story. It had the magical equivalent of a DNA reader on it; upon trying to open it, it would take a sample of that person's magic. And if it didn't match up... there was some time magic that would activate, and a banishing spell.

Banishing spells only worked on magical creatures, but this one would teleport them to a location of the maker's choice. Unless a person was especially versed in displacement magic, it would be impossible to figure out where this box would banish them to, but it could come in handy later.
"Hmmm don't touch the box in the back, some sort of banishment or teleportation spell on it....activates on touch from what I can sense, not sure where it leads....ooooh these seem fun tho..."
*Daxton slips on the gloves, and poses with them on his hands. Smiling at thier lovely material*
"Not entirely sure what they do yet....but they seem to atune to the wearers magic...and damn do they look good"
"Beautiful," Hobbes told him, looking amused. They made his hands look very dainty, and fit perfectly. "Between the golem's outfit and those gloves, the people in this house must have had a very interesting sense of fashion."

"What happened to the people who used to own this house, anyway?" Quente asked. She had a pillow she was squishing between her hands.
*daxton turned from his wife to address their golem friend*
"well, that's part of what we are hoping to find out. When we got here, the place was abandoned besides the different beasts, creatures, monsters, whatever Ricky is, and talking frogs......so ultimately we only have vague ideas of this places history at the moment. Hopefully, uncovering bits of it and what happened to this places inhabitants will also lead us to the clues we need for my wifes cure"
