The year is 2042. The SET CYBORG Recovery Project has massively failed. Their only job now is to prevent the spread of Infection, find and protect lost Experiments, and to establish Safe Havens for humanity to remain while the battle happens outside.
There are a few alternative realities within the SET Universe:
Infection Takeover Universe:
This is the reality that Addison typically plays in. Infection has nearly wiped all sentient life from the planet, (including Experiments) becoming a hive mind of destruction.
CYBORG Shutdown Universe:
This is the world that Amy typically plays in. SET is a strong contender in the fight for power over the world. John and his army of his Experiments are still terrorizing civilization, but they are being held at bay. Infection is a minor concern among the vast number of freakish mutants that are trained to hunt down and kill SET Operatives.
Pre-SET Universe:
This is a miscellaneous world. Taking place in 2027 onward, this is the original SET team.
Modern SET Universe:
Nothing bad has happened... Yet.
