Captain,
Aduial and I were able to locate the caravan, a few carts and two carriages but either on foot or using creatures for passage from the mountains.
The first carriage had what looked like a few guards in black and gray wood and a well dressed male in blue and brown wool of high quality was also located. I believe that would be the colors of the House Gwydion; possibly someone coming from Urraim? We recovered a good quality dagger studded with gems and worked with gold filigree. It looks like it was stuck in the carriage before the event.
The second carriage has a woman in it that I suspect was the mother of the girls. I recovered a locket with a painting of two young redheads in it.
All of the other corpses were in decent quality clothing of many colors; so I suspect there was a large caravan.
Inspecting the remains; we believe there were humans and fae alike. Aduail says that some of the humans had souls and some did not. He was quite upset by it. Additionally, the wounds show signs of swords and weapons as well as bites from something non-feral. A few broken blades and swords were also present.
Aduial and I have set the remains to fire and will return tomorrow to bury the bones. There are two carriages that will need to be cleaned and removed or destroyed.
We noticed that there were many sets of different sized tracks going into the mountains to the Northeast. I believe it best to track them in the morning.
The Countess and Urraim must be advised. This was an attack and not an faebeast incident.
The items located have been filed with the Watch Office.
