Several days ago as the day was drawing to a close a disturbance struck the docks. Those within sight of the place saw incredible fury coming from that location, explosions of light, and what looked suspiciously like a tornado of fire. Others were wild with conflicting stories. Some say there was an attack, yet others claim some Planer invasion had been thwarted. The truth was far more mundane.
There had been a crash. For some time afterwards wreckage of a downed vessel could be found on the shores of the river. For even longer the docks might appear somewhat scorched. A clearer vision of what happened would be harder to come by so was a fertile bed for rumors and speculation. The most common thread among them was that the survivors of the rescue and ship had been taken to the infirmary, including it is assumed, the pilot.
