A research outpost upon the planet has gone quiet, after fruitless days of trying to make contact, there have been arrangements made to form a small team to go out and check up on the outpost, but they lack numbers so they are asking volunteers for a hefty credit to embark on this potentially dangerous mission to the outpost to find out what has happened.
What will happen
Your character will come face to face with an unknown alien organism that will afflict at random a 1d5 affliction as listed in the list below. It will typically last only two rounds with exception of sleep. If you wish, you may roll to see if your character remembers what they did or what happened after the affliction wears off. Periodically the GM will choose a character at random and have them roll a 1d20 to see if they are afflicted and how badly. 1 is a critical failure and they are heavily affected, 2-10 is a severe affliction not as bad as a 1, 12-15 is mild 16-19 is minor and 20 is complete evasion.
1)Attraction Affliction, the afflicted will fall for the first person they see, you may roll at random for who or pick of your own accord.
2)Sleep Affliction, the afflicted will fall asleep for that turn only and awaken on their second one, anything that happens in between to them may or may not be counter acted.
3)Mental Affliction, the afflicted will go insane, they will see, hear, do, and say things they normally would not do, regardless of their mental state beforehand. If they were already mentally unsound they will act mentally sound.
4)Weakness Affliction, all flesh and muscle will become weakened, characters strength is slapped down to half the power it used to be.
5)Intoxication Affliction, the afflicted will act like they are under the influence to the max.
When will it happen
6 pm Furcadia Standard Time - in order to see what time it is in-game, just say "time" (without the quotation marks) into the Furcadia client.

- For some reason the time is listed wrongly on the event. It's at 6 pm FST or CENTRAL standard time, that's 4 pm PST, 5 pm MST, 6 pm CST, and 7 pm EST. Make sure to account for time accordingly.
