    Summary: Mastema is the tester of humans with God's permission. He is mentioned many times with the title of "ha-Satan" meaning the opposer. In heaven, he was a member of the divine court, a prosecutor. On Earth, he requested that he may lead the disembodied spirits left behind after the great flood, as they needed to be kept in line. God agreed. He later tests Abraham's loyalty to God by telling him God demanded he kill his son, Isaac. The deaths of Egypt's first borns are also the work of Mastema. He is widely believed to be God's adversary, and greatest enemy. However, he is still under God's control, and while he may be Chief of the demons, he is not The Devil.
  • Fallen Angels / Devils

    * In popular Jewish Tradition, "Devils" is a term for fallen angels. The fact that "Demons" is used as a term for fallen angels is a Christian Folklore based tradition. Because fallen angels or devils are much more powerful than demons (their offspring), they are not one in the same.

    Samyaza

    Summary: Samyaza was the leader of all of the watcher angels. He lusted after human women and was one of the fathers of the Nephilim. He was bound in the center of the earth by Michael for his crimes along with the other leaders of the Watchers. As the first and leader of the fallen angels, and the ultimate cause of and father of the first demons, it is widely believed that Samyaza is "the devil" or "the adversary" that will one day rise up and lead the demons and evil fallen angels or devils against God on Judgement Day to rebel against his fate. He and Mastema (Chief of the demons and the angel who tests one's faith) are not one in the same.

    Summary: Azazel was a leader of the fallen angels known as the watchers to Earth, and there he taught man the ways of war, witchcraft, tattoos, and to make weapons. He was bound by the archangel Raphael in the ground where he will wait until Judgement Day.

    Summary: Watcher angels descended from heaven and took the form of flesh. After doing so, they became incredibly vulnerable to sin, and their leader Samyaza convinced the lot of them to breed with human women and bestow upon them unholy knowledge.

    Summary: Shaviva was stationed at the first level of heaven, where she assisted in weather control and atmospheric phenomena. She would go to Earth to perform some of these duties, but one time while doing so, she became sinful and killed a man whom she thought deserved death. God cast her out of heaven that day while also sending upon his wrath of Holy Fire on her.

    Summary: David is to become the future king of Israel, and is challenged by a giant of a man, Goliath from the Philistines. Goliath is defeated by a stone and a slingshot. What has become of his spirit is unknown, but it is possible he became a demon.
  • Hierarchy of Angels

    * A hierarchy of angels is noncanical to the Hebrew Bible. It is an invention by human being "Rabbi Mosheh Ben Maimon" and not of the Holy Texts. However, for the sake of diversity, we LIGHTLY use the concept to give skills, jobs, and abilities to angel players.

      Summary: They are the most powerful angels. They are sometimes known as angels of fire. They often are described as having 4 faces, one of man, ox, lion and eagle, and have calf's feet. They glow like burning coal, and are the angels that carry hold up the Earth, similar to Greek's Atlas. They are angels of great strength.

      Power: Fire
      Summary: They are fiery angels that protect God's throne. They are like wheels for they protect and help carry the underside of God's throne.
    3. Name: Erelim

      Power: Healing
      Summary: Erelim angels are "the brave ones." They are known to be couragous and understanding. They have the abilities to help humans cope through stressful times. Often believed to have the powers of healing.

      Summary: They are glowing angels with the power of electricity. It is quite possible they are the angels who govern lightning or other atmospheric phenomina within the first heaven.

      Summary: Six winged beings that as a choir, fly around God's throne, singing of his greatness. They are often associated with the power of fire, and are said to stand nearest to the throne of God. For this reason, it is often misinterpreted that they are the highest class.

      Summary: This is the messenger class of Angels and the class that is most widely recognized as the occupations of angels. They are constantly delivering prayers to God, and are flying to and from heaven on at light speeds. This is the class most recognized by religious folk.

      Summary: Godly beings that are often mistaken to be Gods in many Pagan religions. They are of the divine council and govern over various countries of the earth.

      Summary: These are known as sons of the God, angels who simply spread the glory of God and help pursue God's will. They spread the knowledge of God and his will to the people. Many of them became the Watchers and spread not only God's knowledge, but otherworldly knowledge that God felt man was not yet ready for.

      Summary: Cherubim angels are powerful warrior like angels that guard the entrance to the Garden of Eden, and protect the higher levels of heaven from the second heaven from evil spirits. They are able to summon swords of holy fire, and are very powerful.

      Summary: "Great men" who were once human beings transformed into angels. They are the lowest class.
  • Demons

    *Demons are not fallen angels as it is said in a lot of Christian Folklore and Mythology. Demons are the disembodied spirits of the nephilim after the great flood. They are not equivalent to angels in any way, and in fact are much less powerful. The angel who is the chief of all demons is Mastema, who is still very much under the control of God, making all demons in a sense also under the control of God.

    Summary: Beelzebub is a demon who gathered and led a group of stray demons to fool the Philistines into worshiping them. The demons he lead were like flies, and he was their Lord. When questioned by Solomon, he continues to lie in his defense, saying he was once the leader of all angels who fell from heaven like the watchers who fathered him.

    Summary: Behemoth is a primal, demon leader of the land. He lives in the desert east to the earthly location of the garden of eden. He is one of the first demons, left behind by the first nephilim. It is said that God will one day cut him down with a sword of fire, and feast on his meat, and use his hide for a shelter.

    Summary: Leviathan demon leader of the sea. He is the most powerful demon of all aquatic based demons. He lives in the waters to the west of the garden of eden. He along side Bohemoth is one of the strongest demons ever, and will also be cut down by God one day.

    Summary: Whoever this demon really is (biblical texts never mention him) he is assumed to be very powerful. He is said to father incubus demons.

    Creation is not fully understood, but he was once a slave to Baphomet. Currently resides in the tether, and is assumed to be Neck's lover. <3

    Summary: Sinless as she is often called, is the result of a demon tempting an angel in heaven, and producing a child with such. Although the angel (assumed to be fallen at that point) tried to return to heaven with the baby, she and it were cast down for their impurities. Sinless was then raised on earth, until Ethan discovered her lurking at the tether.

    Summary: Adam was the first man. He ate the fruit from the tree of knowledge with his wife Eve, and both were expelled from the Garden of Eden. However, from there they fathered children and started a family tree leading up to other popular figures.

    Mentioned: Book of Genesis
    Summary: Cain was the first human ever to be born. He was also the first murderer in history. He killed his brother Abel out of Jealousy because God looked upon his sacrifice with favor.

    Seth
    Mentioned: Book of Genesis
    Summary: Seth is the third child of Adam & Eve. After Cain killed Abel, Seth was born, and from there he fathered his own children, eventually leading up to Noah.

    Enoch

    Summary: Enoch was a descendant of Seth, and an ancestor of Noah. He played the role of God's prophet during the times of the watchers, and the breeding of humankind with fallen angels. He was eventually transformed into an angel known as Metatron.

    Summary: Noah was given the task to build an Ark so that God could wash away all the evil (nephilim) in the world. He did so, and after the great flood, the first Demons existed as the disembodied spirits of the nephilim. Noah is the father of all mankind today.

    Summary: Daniel was taken into Babylonian Captivity where he would be educated in Chaldean thought, but he had visions of the angels, and visions of the apocalypse. Gabriel came to him to explain these visions.

    Summary: Job was a well off man who worshiped and thanked God for his wealth. God had Satan (The Divine Court's Prosecutor) test Job's faith. While Satan took his wealth, children, and health, Job still remained loyal to God.
