YOU LOOK DIFFERENT IN DAYLIGHT
OC and Sev are introduced to each other under bad circumstances, causing a fight, argument or some other tense, destructive, physical situation. Both of them scrape out alive but without closure.
A day or so later, OC sees Sev in a busy cafe at board daylight, under a completely different situation. Odd tension resumes but in a different way.
OR
The reverse happens, OC meets Sev under peaceful circumstances and then later under tense ones.

KEEP YOUR NIGHT JOB
Alex goes looking for another job that does not involve his abilities or breaking limbs thank you very much. Upon job searching or while on the new job, he meets OC who seems perfectly normal. But no one in the world is perfectly normal, right?

SOMETIMES YOU LOSE
Semi is hired by your OC but the job ends in failure, leaving OC injured and Semi pissed and hungry to prove her competence once again.
OR....
Sev hired Semi for a job but the mission ends in failure, namely because of your OC. This leaves Sev injured and Semi bloodthirsty for your OC's head.

Toni meets your OC and a fierce rivalry builds. Your OC can be either against Toni (as a criminal) or on the same side (aka in the police force or as a do-gooder vigilant). Toni tries to contain her jealousy as she chases after the heels of your OC.

Your OC has a good or bad run-in with Aiden the night before. The next morning, your OC goes to grab a bite of Chinese food and finds Aiden waiting on your OC's table. Awkward.

After a bad run-in with a supernatural force, Allie is saved by Intan...once again. Allie is unhappy with her own physical ineptitude and her constant reliance on Intan's help in combat situations. Taking matters in her own hand, she flips through Intan's contact rollerdex one day (without his permission, mind you) and finds your OC's name...maybe this person can help her.

There has been a break-in at Intan's store with something valuable stolen by YOUR OC. All of Intan's security measures had been expertly avoided and disabled....but Intan isn't willing to take a loss without a fight.

YOU MISSED, HOW CAN YOU MISS??
Sev acts as back-up to Carmelo as he performs a snipper hit. And....Carmel misses. First time for everything right? Sev and Carmel makes a run for it and meets your OC, who is working for the other side, aka, the target that Carmel missed. A fight breaks out (ending on a truce maybe).

Aiden gets severely hurt and Eve drags him to see your OC for a patchwork or medical advice.
Actually, this can happen to any number and combination of characters, Sev/Semi, Bastion/Alex, Sev/NPCs, anyone/OC.

JUST BE AGREEABLE
Your OC wants to forge an alliance with Sev's family but Sev has major doubts about your OC's competence. And Sev is also not so willing to align himself with a stranger, no matter what dire situation he is in. But a dire situation does arrise and your OC and Sev are forced to work together.
