Adra sank to the bottom, his tail curled around the haft of a giant stone spear that was clutched by a broken statue, as he pressed his belly to the silt bottom. His trident lay beside him, as he lay in wait for prey. He laid as such for a long period, till the currents shifted and took his scent down stream. Now he merely needed to figure out something to hunt. He took stock of what was available. Small fish that ate the plant life clinging to stock, but he was looking for bigger prey, something with more use. A predator would be ideal.

An eel swam by, and Adra readied the trident in his hand, but it never came close enough to present an opportunity. He slipped back, relaxing as he let silt and sand obscure his form a little. He was so still, one might confuse his darkly colored form for a piece of broken wood or bit of ruined stone of the structure.

And there, he spotted something worth hunting. A shark...not a large one, mind you. He'd need much more potent weapons to take a big shark. But a shark of this size would make a fine kill, good meat and the skin was touch and durable. It would do the clan well.";
