I finally sat down and designed my first pattern. It's stupidly simple when it comes down to it, but it took some counting and a few mistakes before I got it down.
The pattern is a simple cat blanket. It's knit with a thick garter stitch border, featuring eyelets, with a stockinette center. Nothing fancy! I'm knitting the first blanket now and a friend of mine on FB cast on as well. We're going to see how this turns out.
The eyelets don't show up too well in the photo but it looks a lot nicer irl!

Finished the blanket. Wew! I need to bind off tighter with the Eliz. Zimmermann bind off but other than that, I like it.
