So, I'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion or two about something I can play in the background while I'm knitting. I've finished enough House and Pretty Little Liars for a while and I don't know what to listen to. Lately I've been listening to either Heather Dale or Marina and the Diamonds and I'm getting bored of it.
For movies/TV shows I personally like something that has a lot of drama. I don't tend to actually watch the show, more listen to it, but ironically it need subtitles. I am hard of hearing so sometimes I miss things and I have to backtrack with subtitles. Anything on Netflix would be good, or if it's cheap on DVD I can buy it soon probably.
As for music, I like angsty stuff; Breaking Benjamin, Paramore, Flyleaf, Halestrom. I like country as well, but I haven't found an album or artist I like to knit by so far.
Hopefully this isn't too off topic, and if it is, please feel free to remove it! I don't mind at all, I am just hoping it's on topic enough!

Mm, well... I'm rather fond of the Ayreon albums. Each tells a story, and they all tie together into one big story. And the music's pretty cool even if you zone out. ^^ I think so, at least. I wouldn't really compare it to the things you mentioned, but it's about the downfall of mankind in general. And time. And space. And emotions.

Daft Punk, of course! Ayreon is also really good, indeed. Alice in Chains, E Nomime, Muse, Orbital, Tycho. Might be some things out of your preferred genres, but I like listening to them when I knit.
As for movies and series, I loved watching the Alien franchise, but I don't think it's on Netflix. Terminator was fun too, Psych, Family Guy, American Dad and stuff is fun too.
