Serena rolled her eyes "They would need to destroy the A.I maneframe in the center of the ship to kill me..." she mumbled gently, Cutter nodded, and then looked at Douglas "Douglas, do you mind showing these people to the engine room?" he asked, Douglas knew that when the Captain asked something, it was more of an order than an actual choice. Douglas nodded "Alright, follow me" he said and he began to walk to the engine room

The engines themselves looked to be in bad condition, two of the engines were actually completely missing, likely from the ship being rammed. Five others offline, two only working at fifty percent efficiency and the others were working, it was actually amazing the ship had not smashed into the planet by now. Also, their FTL core was missing.

"Oh, forgive me, I was not *Hhhhhk* saying they would destroy you. If they were *Hhhhhk* aware of the presence of an AI they more than likely would either *Hhhhhk* fine you or not allow you to dock. Particularly if your *Hhhhhk* Ai has a platform that she downloads herself into for free movement of the ship."Kaknar said. Threskgar followed Douglas out, along with Palpus. Pllo and Kaknar remained on the bridge.

"How exactly did the ship get this much damage to the engines?"Threskgar asked. "If I can get the tools and maybe a few other engineers I could get this fixed in maybe a day or two."Threskgar said. "Assuming your ship's engines are like those our ships use."Threskgar added

Douglas looked at him "You can thank the covenant for that, They decided to ram us then bombard us with plasma torpedoes at close range." Douglas said as he motioned a few engineers to come over, to which they did. "Problem is, our engines are missing a few pieces to fix them" he said, then Douglas looked at the group "...where did your ship go down? Perhaps we could salvage parts from it to fix the engines?" Douglas suggested

"It landed on the planet. Where else?"Threskgar asked. "Here are the precise coordinates."Plapus said, holding out his arm with his omni tool active. It displayed the coordinates on the planet.

Douglas eyed him "I know it landed ON the planet, I meant exactly where. Unless you are telling me the jetpack that he is wearing could take you from planet to planet" He said, then looked at the coordinates on the Omni tool, he then nodded and he put a hand to his helmet "Hangar bay seven, prep ATT Pelican two" he said, and then "Yes Sir" was heard on the comm in reply

"Let's hope our tech and your tech is compatible."Threskgar said, examining the engines. "So, once we're able to leave where would we be going exactly?"Palpus asked.

Douglas looked at them as he turned to leave "We will likely be trying to get back home" he said before walking off to the hangar to board the pelican that was being prepped.

Palpus and Threskgar followed him. "So I assume you mean Earth?"Palpus asked.

Douglas looked at him "I do not know, the stars seem different, it is likely not even the same Earth" he said as he got onto the Pelican

Palpus and Threskgar climbed on as well. "If it helps any worry you might have for your home world, Threskgar and I most likely won't return to ours either."Palpus offered. "I'm not complaining to much. Tuchanka was a huge hell hole. Not having to worry about Thresher maws any more helps abit."Threskgar chuckled.

He nodded, and he spoke with a bit of amusement in his voice "To be honest, most of our colonies were not in much better condition" He then turned to get into the cockpit "You are welcome to join me if you wish"

"Don't think I'd fit up there."Threskgar said. "Well, I might. How do you fly this thing?"Palpus asked.

He got an amused look "then stay in the back, I only need a navigator" he said and he looked at Palpus "Well, it is a pretty basic ship, probably no different from how you fly your ship"

"You forget, our ships were made by separate species."Palpus said, following after Douglas.

He nodded "Yes, but it seems that all species still share some basic controls, I remember flying a Covenant Banshee was not that hard to figure out" he said and he took the ship off, this Pelican seemed more decked out in terms of armor and weaponry.

"Some how the prospect of some one flying a Banshee is less than attractive to me."Palpus said. He was thinking of an entirely different Banshee however, referring to the Reaper-ified Asari Adrat-Yakshis.

Soon the pelican had entered the planet's atmosphere and soared towards the location of the Crimson Varen, the ship that they had used for transport. "Alright, land it nice and easy in the hangar."Palpus said, pointing out the wide open entrance towards the back of the ship.

He blinked with confusion "...well, its purple, but I actually do not mind the look of it" he said as he flew the Pelican into the hangar and landed it slowly and carefully. He then looked at them "Are there any natives or creatures on this planet that may have made a home here?" he asked curiously as he took out his shotgun

"I think you and I are talking about very different Banshees."Palpus said. "And there aren't any that we've encountered." Plapus added as he exited the ship.
