(Let me read up and I'll try to post!)
He nodded "Ya, the Banshee I am speaking of is purple, made by the Covenant" he said as they went "I think we might have a few stolen ones somewhere in the ship, I should show you one sometime" he said as he looked around, he loaded a few shells into the shotgun, by the looks of things they were eight gauge. He looks at them "Do you all have weapons? We cannot be too careful" he said as he walked along the hangar floor
Meanwhile, a squad of EVEREST supersoldiers, lead by a "Peak," which strikingly similar to the UNSC SPARTAN-II supersoldiers, grouped around each other. Most wore light powered exoskeletons, with anything showing covered in black and blue, green, or red fabric, including the arms and legs. They all wore balaclavas or helmets with eyepieces that concealed their identities, and used seemingly 21st century designed weapons such as M4s, SCAR-H rifles, and 12-gauge shotguns. Two wore heavier armor and had glasses on in place of balaclavas. These were Berserkers. "Cap. You see that ship?" One asked, and the 7-foot tall soldier nodded. "And we're going to check it out. Gamma company, start moving towards that landing zone! Go!" And with that, the group spread out a bit and headed toward the ship.
Palpus pulled his rifle, a turian Phaeston, off his back, with Threskgar pulling out his N7 Typhoon. "Yeah, we're armed."Threskgar said. "Alright, this way to the engine room."The Krogan said, heading off.
(I'm too lazy to read everything: There's no one on the planet besides the squad I mentioned... So basically they JUST missed the pelican taking off and it's like "PFFFT AYSHS"... Right?)
(So, which ship are your soldiers looking at? The Spirit of Fire? Or the crashed one?)

Jerome nodded "lead the way" he said as he as he went, he was providing rear security, making sure they were not shot from behind. Jerome would try his best to protect the two with his energy shielding if they were being shot at
(The one that crashed. They've been stranded for almost a day; any sign of civilization would be nice. Hopefully they get noticed before they randomly go around messing with a ship with super advanced self-defense systems.)
Oop: I thought they were going over to the Crimson Varen, which was the crashed ship, since the Spirit of Fire is up in space, and the Pelican landed in the Crimson Varen

Soon odd growling and hissing was heard echoing down the corridors. Threskgar perked up. "Is that?"He muttered as the sounds continued. He soon gave out a hardy laugh, charging down the hall. "The old mutt made it!"He said excitedly.
(I just wanted to be sure is all)

Jerome tilted his head in confusion, but he quickly ran after them "You had a pet on this ship?" he asked as he went, with curiosity in his tone. The UNSC was not allowed to bring animals on their ships unless they were for research purposes.
Palpus nodded. "Yes we do. It's a Varren, so if it pounces on you don't worry, he's tame."Palpus explained. Down the hall Threskgar had stopped, petting the happy Varren whose tail wagged energetically.
A small squad of soldiers had meanwhile breachedthe ship, quietly sweeping their weapons around, looking for signs of life. "Alright, so rules are engagement are don't fire unless they shoot first."
"Right." Another answered as they headed down, deeper into the strange ship. "Look at this tech... Who the hell has this kind of stuff?"
Jerome looked at the animal curiously, he slowly panned around. He then stopped when he saw something, something he did not like "...my motion tracker is showing life signs...below us" he said as he held up his shotgun "Moving very slowly...any slower and they would not have even appeared on my sensors" he said as he panned around, he slowly began to look for some form of stairs
"There's a lift near by. It should still work still."Palpus offered. The Varren sniffed around some before letting out a loud hiss. Threskgar pulled his gun off his back, as did Palpus as they headed to the lift.
The soldiers continued moving inside, while the rest, including the PEAK, stayed outside, watching the entrances. Their patience was inhuman-- they could likely stay there for a day, pointing their weapons.
The soldiers inside paused. "Jackson," one said. Another in the back perked up. "Yo," he answered.
"Check that lift."
"Right." The soldier moved forward, aiming his G36C at the elevator as he approached.
