What a curious...person she thought. Politely, Crystie followed behind the kitsune as she lead her down the hall. The place actually looked pretty high class, it would be no trouble at all to escape the world for awhile here. She smiled at the thought of living simply for the next week.

Crystie's smile relit her face at the girl's comment. She had never pictured her light brown hair to be "adventurous", especially since she usually had it tied up on her head, but everyone had their own opinion! When the worker turned back to gaze at Crystie, she swore she was looking at her own reflection mirrored in the girl's image. The next second though, it was gone. Guess she really did need a vacation after all.

When they finally arrived at her door, Crystie felt excitement bubble inside her. She wondered what lay beyond the door, and more, she was ready to relax.
"Something like that," Crystie replied to the girl's question, giving the girl a grin. Part of her was running away again, and part of her was using this place as an excuse to regain her energy so she could return. She immediately pushed the thought of the Allilian out of her mind.

When the door opened, Crystie was amazed to see what lay inside. The room was more immaculate that she would have ever imagined. Crystals lining every inch of the walls, a large comfy bed, a tub big enough to sleep in, and a view of a place unheard of. For a few moments all Crystie would do was gawk, trying to look at every corner in the room; she didn't want to miss any detail. Finally though, her hand went up and took the key from the worker.
"This place is incredible. I can't believe you have rooms like this here! This is exactly what I needed." She slowly stepped into the room and let her bag drop to the floor as she gazed around. After a quick one eighty she met the workers gaze again.
"Thank you so much!! So question, where's the best place to eat around here?"
Whatever the girl's reasons for moving away were - what really caught the kitsune's interest was her rather ample amount of excitement. Oh how she loved something like this. Kasumi's mirth could only grow as her deeds were venerated, hands meeting at her centre to give the girl a long, deep bow. "Ahh, I'm pleased to see it tickles your...fancy, my good woman." She gestures towards the window, speaking assuringly. "No fear, nothing shall come through that window. What you see through there is merely a one-way scrying spell. Nothing can see you and it compliments the room perfectly, wouldn't you say?" she stopped to lean up close to the woman, waggling her brows once more.

"Now, that is a very relative question. Would you like food that is or is not murder upon your teeth? If you do not mind the decay, I would direct you to our resident candy shop - you will find a wide assortment of fine delicacies from the beyond over there - do mind the staff, they are quite the bunch! And if that does not meet your fancy - well, I am sure there are many different restaurants to meet your fancy! We also have room service in case you require something brought to your room - on request, you'll find our selection...near infinite." With a sly giggle, she found herself turning her side to the guest, pursing her lips and hruming.

"Of course we shall be opening a restaurant when we get the chance, you see we haven't quite gotten there yet. Interesting fact about this hotel - we're marvels of the multiverse that would make a city of doors blush...and yet we're still working on staffing ourselves properly. Quite an odd conundrum, humhum? But by all means - I, Kasumi , shall tend to your every whim. When I am not tending to the hedges outside or the raking...or the dusting. I won't lie - I am just the ground's keeper...but!" she turned to face her fully, crossing her arms over her chest as she levitated herself high, pride filling her chest as she raised her chin "A five hundred year old immortal versed in the arts of hospitality should prove to be enough suppliment.!"
"I see, I had no idea this hotel was going through such dramatic changes," Crystie replied, turning back to look through the window. The new outside world was amazing, she was sure it would take her awhile to grow accustomed to it.
"I guess i'll have to do with room service until the restaurant is opened up! I can hole up in my room for awhile," she turned back to the girl with a smile.
"Thanks for all your help. I'll be sure to ask for you if I need anything else! I'm pretty well suited to my room. I'll just take a little time to unpack!"
It really was romantic. Even a being like Kasumi had to admit that. The thought of a place for such unique beings to congregate was absolutely intoxicating. "Mmmm by all means! I'll see you're well fed and comfortable. If you need anything at all - be it what it may, I shall keep you comfortable."

To her words she'd simply scoff, waving her off as she would wink to her "It's no trouble at all. The beyond is wide and terrifying... We all need a bit of comfort. And my kids say I am fond of smothering." she giggled aloud, moving to the doorway and bowing her out. "You will find ample closet space. Barring that? Well, you seem like a capable woman. I leave that to you." she slid the door closed with a wave of her hand, cooing a toddle - loo.
Sighing, a young Twili Girl walked in the hotel, black coat on with the hood on her head. ''Let's hope this hotel doesnt mind weird looking people like me..'' Sam thinked, arriving at the main lobby. ''Hello, one room at the name Sam Jackson, please.'' She asked, trying to be polite. After paying and getting her key, the Twili Girl silently walked into her room, not aware that other people must have seen her or anything.

After she was done unpacking, Sam walked out of the room, starting to explore the features of the hotel.
As time passed on for Max from unpacking and such, he had decided to go out and wonder the hotel himself. He headed on out and looked about the place looking widely amused at pictures and just the shops and all the content the shop had to offer for anyone.
Walking in the hallways and looking everywhere, Sam saw a man-fox. ''Atleast i'm not the only one weird here..'' She though, still walking.
Yet another fantastic part about the nature of being a spirit? Incorporeality! Especially when one was working on a multi-tiered location, the ability to transfer herself from one floor to another was quite useful. So, having finished with the previous guest and helped them to their room, Kasumi simply sauntered down the hallway and simply dropped through the floor, her body seemingly phasing through it as she steadily controlled the mass of her body, phasing it out just enough to send herself through. Now there was that one-time she goofed up and ended up reversing the process half way...coming back from that destruction of her corporeal body was not exactly luxury. And the innards - gods they took ages to clean those off the ground.

But, more things to tend to then old gory memories of yore! Another guest had come in, as Kasumi found herself in the lobby, adjusting herself just enough to be able to float a few feet in the air, watching Sam as she came in and passed a comment about her co-worker. She didn't quite catch that, but she'd have to investigate this herself. Allowing her time to get comfortable and commit a dozen tasks before she finally started to explore - and who wouldn't explore this place - she chose to introduce herself with professional eloquence.

By phasing her head through the floor ten feet in front of her and greeting her with eyes glowing a bright cyan and a toothy, wide grin. "My, haven't seen one of your kind walking around for...well, longer then I've been alive. Or un-alive. May I help you?"
"I'm a Twili, you probably never heard of it. No thanks, just visiting." Sam answered, trying to be polite.
Oh, droll. Droll droll! How she hated it when they gave the easy answer. "Why of course I know what a Twili is. You don't fling yourself blindly across the multiverse and NOT come across unique races! Yours - yours has a rather strange obsession with Twilight... Ho but do tell. Honor a woman of curiosity, indulging her base desire to explore."

The rest of her soon phased throw the floor, and tails unfurling as she kept herself in close proximity to the twili.

"Are you genetically attracted to the word.... Or is it based on belief? Where did you all come from? And where are you all going?"
Sam frowned at the remark. "We dont all have an obssession with the Twilight.." She muttered, remembering some old Twili friend that went insane because of it. The Twili fastly shook her head, not wanting to Bring that up again. "Anyways, thank you." Sam replied, politely, walking away.
Either that creature had serious social issues or they were the dark and brooding sort! Unfortunately, frustrating as it was , she had to accept such a boring thing! And rather then call out the rude actions of the little mortal cross-breed! Not that she knew the mixture of her bloodlines. Watching them walk away, Kasumi would coo out "Do remember to smile, dear woman! If you require any assistance, it will be but a call away!"

Well, they didn't seem to want anyone to talk to them - by all means, that was their choice! No use bothering someone who didn't want to be bothered...unless it was that time again. Phasing back through the ground, for the first time in the last three hours, Ms "Pinnicle-of-Otherwordly-Judgemental-Ego-&-Fast-Conclusions-Ltd" Kasumi found herself actually thinking about her given duties. Yet another fine trait of the Indo - the airheads tended to have attention spans that fluctuated between lasting centuries and goldfish levels of forgetfulness.

Now wandering about at random, she found herself looking around the lobby for her rake. It was a mundane item, yes, but it was hers after all! She wasn't going to get rid of a personal item like that. It was her rake - and by the gods she was going to wield it a song-worthy epic against falling leaves and perhaps whatever occasional eldrich abomination might stray onto the premesis.

At this point she'd actually started to question WHERE the Hotel even existed for all these unique creatures to randomly bump into it.

Must have been Maine.
Sam laughed for a couple seconds. ''Smile. It's been a long time someone didnt make this joke.'' She said, continuing to adventure in the hallways of the Hotel, in silence.
After Crystie had finished unpacking and taken a well needed bath, she left the confines of her room with a book tucked under her arm. Her hair was still dripping wet, but she didn't mind. As she passed through the lobby, she made a mental note to visit the candy shop for midnight snacks. It had been far too long since she had a good chocolate bar.
Finally, she made her way to the Hotel's pool. After picking out a good lounge chair, she made herself comfortable as she pulled her book open.
"Now if only they had poolside assistance," she mumbled to herself with a chuckle before she immersed herself in reading.
What was that? Did someone day beetlejuice? It was like those words automatically summoned her from the ether, as just as she said "Assistance", a voice called out from behind her.

"Need some warm towels? "

And lo and behold, Kasumi stood there, having quickly augmented her form to set herself up in a pure white two - piece bikini and wearing a large wooden sign quite clearly saying" pool fox". Now that was some legit stuff.

Still grinning as she stood over her, leaning forward "Or would you like me to summon our resident flotation device elemental?"
Crystie jumped slightly at the sudden entrance of the kitsune.
"Gheeze! You guys are everywhere!" She offered a small laugh before she rearranged herself.

"While the warm towels do sound nice, I was actually hoping for a fruity drink! Perhaps a strawberry daiquiri?" She inquired, giving her a smile.
"Oh, not quite! I haven't perfected the art of being everywhere at once...wait four hundred years - I'm sure I'll get the hang of it." The excitable creature announced, before adjusting her sign, reaching under it to pull out wided rimmed cocktail glass from places so unmentionable and otherwordly your head would likely implode, explode and then implode back into place if you were to know.

"Strawberry daiquiri you say! Coming right up!" Now this was a little mix she knew well! Holding the wide brimmed glass aloft, she released it, carefully focused wind currents keeping it balanced within the air. She directed her grasp towards the nearby poolside bar, causing the variant amount of ice-cubes, lime, strawberry, rum and so on to haphazardly fly her way, slowing just short of her. Making use of her claws, she carefully began cutting the lime, aiming to juice it whilst speaking to her. "So, how are you liking things so far? Planning to go for a dip? Just make sure none of the more aqueous guests are swimming, they tend to be very...touchy feely. There are incidents that transcend indecent." she quipped, having gotten to the point where she had to blend. Easy enough! Trapping the ingredients in a ball of fluctuating force, she...sent them towards the bar's blender and proceeded to stuff them in and turn it on.

Sometimes it was good to let technology take a shot. "Personally? I'd suggest the snacks here. They make some great stuff, especially that meaty paste thing. I keep forgetting it's name! Great with some toast, and they have nuts that revitalize the senses! Crunchy, tend to bleed a little...but they're delicious."
There was never a dull moment whenever this worker was around. A smile found Crystie’s face as she watched her work her magic. She could tell with these kinds of people here, there would never be a dull moment in the hotel.

“Things so far have been fantastic! I’m so glad I found that flyer telling about this place. I don’t think I could quite ask for anything more. I haven’t decided if I want to take a swim yet, maybe after I finish a bit more of this book. It’s had my interest for quite some time; I just never had the time to sit down and actually enjoy it.” She rubbed the leather cover affectionately. For a moment she sat and pondered her recommendation. It had been awhile since she ate, but she didn’t want to spoil her dinner either.

“Perhaps a bit later, maybe after I finish my drink. We’ll see just how hard it hits me today,” She told her, chuckling.

“I’m sorry. I never even got your name. I’m Crystie, and you are?”
