Blood Moon - Resurrected

The year... 2020. The sun barely rises and, if it does, it makes small appearances through the thick clouds of smog and condensed water. Occasionally it rains, drenching the always warm air in some sort of coolness. Only in the night time hours does the temperature decrease past 50 degrees Fahrenheit. The city lights are always on but leave many dark alley ways.
New York City has been divided amongst the mortals and the immortals. The mortals control Manhattan and The Bronx while the immortals control Staten Island and Brooklyn. But, to the blissful ignorance of the mortals, they share the borough of Queens.
The police forces in each borough have to have a decent quota of mortals and immortals on the force for many crimes in the 5 boroughs have been caused by both kinds alike.
However, brewing under the 3 airports in or around New York City is the Slayer's Society- going against law enforcement of the government to slay any immortal creature regards of past crimes or innocence.
The Council of the Creatures have requested aide from the Creature Monarchies of the world- joining 2 forms of government into 1 super government and locating themselves in the shared borough of Queens in a large office building known as The Courtyard where they keep in communication with the 10 sister cities of New York- Tokyo, Japan; Beijing, China; Cairo, Egypt; Madrid, Spain; Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic; Budapest, Hungary; Rome, Italy; Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, Israel; London, England; and Johannesburg, South Africa that are all undergoing the same crisis.

This is the reality of growing up abnormal in a hateful society... where it's no longer bullies and beatings- but stakes, shot guns, and flamethrowers.
