Vampires now are categorized into 3 different species with 5 levels of character.
Aristocrats- Your basic vampire. Characteristics include: no beating heart, cold and pale skin, and red-tint eye colour. These vampires have the ability to reproduce both turning and naturally but prefer "building the population" by turning and restrict "born vampires" to be saved for the nobility or sub-par nobility. They will exterminate any Level C-E vampires who reproduce naturally against their government's rules. Their court consists of 10 members with a King (Kozi) and a moderating Lord (Juka).
Glaciems- "Frozen" vampires. Characteristics include: a heart with the possibility to beat (requires warm pressure over it to thaw ice), cold and pale skin, normal eye colour that turns to the Glaciem eyes (black scleras, blue iris, & white pupils), a special ice blue "venom" that drips from the canines, and veins turn black all over the body when thirsty or angry. Glaciems tend to have once been aristocratic purebloods who became frozen due to traumatic experiences where the body is exposed in below 0 temperatures for too long and the blood is mixed with the Glaciem "venom". They keep their population regulated to a court of 10 vampires of pureblood with a King (Yurito) and a moderating Lord (Kamijo). They tend to live in cold climates of 32 degrees Fahrenheit or below for too much heat will weaken them- however, they can venture to warmer climates if they have a sufficient supply of blood to drink.
Altum- "High" vampires. Characteristics include: a beating heart, pale and fragile skin with average temperature, normal eye colour with a hazy glaze over them, longer canines than the other vampires with all of the teeth pointed, and naturally occurring markings over the body to distinguish nobility and family. All Altum vampires are purebloods in the Level A and B categories and limit their population to 4 court members with a King/Queen (Isis- under review) with a moderating Lord (Kaya). They tend to keep themselves inside for the sun damages their skin like the stereotype of vampires states but, with enough blood in their system, they can withstand hours in direct, burning rays without a scratch. They are thought to be the strongest vampires who rarely make an appearance.

The Veros are the Gods of the Vampire world. They are to be feared and revered. The Veros come in a group of 4 (already determined)- the hands, eyes, heart, and brain. They deliver judgement and can ONLY be killed by the rulers of Hell themselves- however, they can be severely injured by other forces. They are the recent addition to the vampire world and are seen as the "all powerful". They tend to stay in hiding until they are called about by the Lords of the courts (Juka, Kamijo, and Kaya).
The 5 levels of character in the vampire government is roughly a criteria that is used to decide what vampires are suitable to remain “alive”:
The 5 Levels of Character:
Level A - Purebloods (no human blood ever in ancestry) who are born vampiric and posses some sort of nobility. Typically control government.
Level B - Purebloods(no human blood ever in ancestry) born vampiric but carry no noble blood. Assist in government.
Level C - Basic Human-Turned-Vampire ancestry with average morals. Average citizen.
Level D - Basic Human-Turned-Vampire ancestry with mixing morals both insane and sane. Comparable to the schizophrenic human.
Level E - Both Purebloods and Human-Turned-Vampire ancestries who are reduced to nothing but blood thirsty monsters that must be executed immediately before they jeopardize the government
The vampire government is both a democracy as well as a monarchy. The democracy has control over all monarchs while the monarchy is specifically over the different types of vampires.
The vampire democracy consists of a “House of Representatives”- 3 of the eldest vampires from each continent and each type of vampire. They keep official records of all vampires and especially updated on Level Ds and Es. They are the only ones to carry out death sentences on vampires; they need Lucifer’s permission if there is a desire to kill any Level Bs or As.
A vampire council member is distinguished by a pendent of a guilded lion in a variety of colours.

Juka was only recently brought back to his people after being run out and in hiding due to an uprising of “elitist” artistocratic vampires known as the “Prima Gara” or the “First Race”. The leader of the Prima Gara was killed and Juka resumed power (though there are still many members of the Prima Gara alive today but merely waiting for a new leader to step up), reinstating his council of 11 noble vampires known as the “Scelto”- the 11th vampire is seen as the “king” or “commander” of this council that mediates as a swing vote amongst the even number of regular Sceltos; he/she is often picked by Juka himself and trained under him personally. The pendent all Artistocrat vampires wear is a crescent moon with a tear drop gem dangling from the top arch (the gem for basic vampires is white while only the council members, king, and lord get the red gem).
The Glaciem Vampire Empire was founded by Kamijo. The true origin of how the Glaciems came to be is still a mystery that even Kamijo, the first Glaciem, cannot figure out. Kamijo was one of Lucifer’s favourites until the “mutation” occurred and he became a vampire type that even the Father of Vampires couldn’t comprehend. He was abandoned and took up an empire in spite of his master- creating the Glaciem council of 10. The council went on with being only 10 members until an 11th unexpected vampire was turned into a glaciem; not only was this 11th vampire a mistake Glaciem but he is also the son of the son of Lucifer. Kamijo rethought the council and appointed the grandson of Lucifer to King- thinking he could get closer to his original master. To this day, the glaciem race has been restricted to exist only within the families of the 12 noble vampires- hoping, eventually, the blood line will dwindle down and a new set will have to be created. The Glaciem vampires wear a pendent of the celtic cross with a crimson gem in the center (only the king and his family have an ice blue gem in the center).
The Altrum Vampire Empire was founded by Kaya, who is seen as one of the oldest vampires in history- “born” a half century before Juka and Kamijo- and born from Lucifer’s taboo relationship with the original Lillith (Eva). He was the original vampire; the original stereotype, however, the strongest set of vampires. Kaya has 5 council members (one being the King/Queen) called his “Prognati” or his “Progeny/Offspring” born of his blood from near-dead humans. There is a set of 5 vampires who teeter on humanity and vampirism all while under Kaya’s command- hoping to be “killed” by Kaya and brought on as part of the Prognati. The power of the Altrum is never actually demonstrated but many rumor that it is slightly below the ferocious power of the Veros. The Altrum vampires all wear a specific pendent of a metal lily with a gem in the center of their choosing.
The Veros are a group of 4 vampires- all direct descendants of Lucifer- that are seen as the God-Like Archangels of Hell and Vampire-Kind. Each is supposed to represent a specific decision making element of the Father of Vampires- the eyes that see into the truth of all vampires and carry out judgment, the hands that deliver punishment, the heart that finds or seeks humans to convert over into vampirism, and the brain that mediates all the forms of vampire government under one understanding as well as is speaker against any other species’ government. The Veros all wear the same pendent with a different coloured gem to distinguish what they represent (red- eyes, blue-hands, green-brain, & yellow-heart).
TO STEAL ANY OF THESE PENDANTS IS A SEVERE CRIME PUNISHABLE BY DEATH. IF A PENDANT IS IN THE HANDS OF A SLAYER, IT IS ASSUMED THE OWNER HAS BEEN KILLED AND IS SEEN AS A TROPHY.
