Variel
What a day. The young English woman sank down into the hotel chair, while she waited for her room to be ready. You really should have checked in before heading to the job. You'd be having a damn drink in your room and working on your report if you had. she silently braided herself. Removing her glasses she rubbed at her pale, yet oddly luminous brown eyes, as she re accounted the days events. The possessed child proved more than she figured it would, typically poltergeist style spirits possessed a child, but this was different, and there was very little, if anything at all, she could do for the child. Soon her thoughts were interrupted by a hotel employee giving her the key to her room.

Quickly she made her way up to the room, to her it was just another hotel room. She hadn't slept in a bed that she could calls hers in months, truthfully the hotels were all starting to blend together, she couldn't even remember the name of the one she stayed in last week. After getting settled in she opened her net book computer and tried to put her mind on work, but it was something she couldn't seem to do. Soon she was up pacing the room. It's a nice night out, you should go out for a bit she said to herself, and truthfully she didn't need much convincing. However it wouldn't be a traditional tourist's night out. It never was for Variel.

She was thankful that the hotel was in a small town, it would make things all the more easier. After she had found the long trench style coat she kept for occasions such as tonight she slipped out of her regular clothing, leaving the tank top and short shorts on. They were made of a special material that changed with her body when she changed.

Then she donned the long trench coat and left the hotel. Variel walked for a good 45 minuets before she headed off the road. She was outside of the small town and just to her left the forest was starting. A good a place as any she thought to herself as she walked between the trees. Once she was sure she was well out of sight from the road and she was alone she slipped the long trench coat from her shoulders and stripped her shoes off. Then she stashed them away in the hollow of a tree. Tonight she would spend some hours in the form of a wolf.

The change was quick, as it always was. First she slumped forward on to all fours as he body began to change, her nose mouth and chin bean to protrude at the same time. Then as salt and pepper fur began to sprout from her skin she began to shrink in size. Within less than a minuet the young English woman had become a fully grown, male grey wolf.

Bade
A man was sitting in the woods by himself, in front of a fire surrounded by stones. He sat on the ground, legs folded underneath him and poked at the fire with a long stick. The flames hissed and spit whenever they were disturbed but the man seemed to not care. His expression was dull, almost bored. Grey-green eyes took in the fire and held the reflection in their indifferent gaze. To say the man looked threadbare would be an understatement. His clothing was ripped and torn all over; his once-full length jeans had a slit from the left knee down and the right leg was missing a chunk from the thigh. His plaid shirt hung in tatters over his frame, the sleeves still attached but barely.

He pushed the logs around dismally, seeming for all the world to be entirely uninspired. He leaned his stubble-covered chin onto his hand his hands and sighed heavily. He couldn't remember how long he'd been out here and he certainly wasn't anywhere near home. His hands slide up his face and through the shock of tawny red-brown hair sticking out in all directions at the top of his head. Pulling his head back his eyes closed over the sight of the moon; still in it's first quarter. How did he feel like the change was going to be involuntary when the moon's cycle was not yet complete? He shuddered and turned his face from the sky.

Pushing himself wearily to his feet, Bade stretched and yawned, thinking it was time to find some food. He scratched his back side as his bare feet padded against the dirt ground, finding his way from the clearing. Willing his eyes to stay open, his ears caught a weird sound for these woods. Steps. But not in a quadrupedal gait... A biped? Or rather, another biped, he reminded himself.

But then the foot falls stopped and Bade stopped too, having become engrossed in them. His brows furrowed and he put his nose to the air, sifting out this person's scent. When he could no longer pick it up, he found himself walking, almost stalking into a space span of trees. His nose led him to a jacket and par of shoes stashed under a tree... Was this person walking around in the nude, hoping to expose themselves to woodland creatures? His brows contracted in confusion as he straightened up and looked around him in a silly human habit.

Variel
Having completed her transformation, Variel stretched out her wolfish limbs, giving herself a few brief moments to get re accustomed to this form. However her nose worked well, nearly instantly she picked up a scent, and it was close growing closer. As Bade came upon the area, Variel had slipped into the shadows, and between the trees. She padded silently around the small clearing intending to double back around to see what it was she had smelled.

As she circled around her eyes were scanning the spots in between the trees intently, watching for the source of the smell. She spotted a man who looked as if he had seen better days, his clothing torn. He found your clothes, it's gonna be a cold walk home if he runs off with them she thought to herself, but soon she decided that would really put a bit of a kink in her plans as catching cold wasn't one of them. Quickly a decision was made, and before she knew it she was stepping through the trees, and into plain sight.

Bade's head snapped in the direction of the approaching wolf, his expression tightening. The sight of a fully grown male wolf alone with him in these woods made his heart skip a beat and before he knew it, he was planting his feet and hunching his shoulders. Something reminiscent of a growl crawled it's way out of his throat and a ripple of anger went through his face. He seemed to realize he was acting strangely and closed his eyes tightly, hands lacing over the back of his head to quell the Change.

Once he felt like his brain was wholly himself again, he looked at the wolf better. It did not seem like a wild animal, yet free wolves had always had an affinity for him. SO he did what any normal person would have done; he said hello.

"Hello there, what you are doing around here? There are humans out tonight." He inspected the clothes he had forgotten were in his hands. Checking the shoe sizes he looked around him again, more confident that this wolf wasn't preparing to attack. "Looks like some lucky lady, who might be found by these two studs." He winked at the animal before realizing it might not understand him... But then again, why not? He hadn't any one to talk to in a very long time, or so he thought.
Variel watched as the unknown man who held her coat and shoes act oddly. The wolfish hearing picking up the slight growl that had emitted from him, and she could see the tensing of his body. hmm, what have we here.. she thought to herself. As he seemed to calm down the wolf sat back on it's haunches regarding him silently, but hoping he would return her clothing to where she had hidden it.

The wolf had no real response for the man, well at least legible response only a light almost grunting like sound came in reply to Bade's greeting, other than that it would only blink to its words. The English woman in wolf's clothing knew that she would have to make a decision soon, and that was whether or not she would change back. She was now silently braiding herself for not wearing more than her trench coat and the clothes she wore during the change. They weren't completely immodest, but definitely not something she would want to be wearing around an unknown man.

By the time the man had finished speaking her decision was made, it would be a god damned cold walk home with out shoes or her coat. The wolf would walk out of sight behind some bushes, and bit of rustling would be heard, then as the woman changed back to her true form a lot of rustling was heard, and in a breath or two the man would see a woman with coppery hair and luminous eyes seem to grow up from behind the bush. A sheepish smile was worn on her lips, "Hello," the voice held an English accent, "Those are mine."
Again, the man's head snapped back in that direction; he was beginning to get a crick from that movement. He blinked his grey green eyes, which caught the moonlight strangely, almost flashing. He let his hands fall, as he had been about to start sniffing the fabric for clues...

"Uh, well, Hello there Miss English." He looked at the clothes and a slight flush ran across his cheeks. "I guess these are yours, Red. And you probably want them to be put back where I found them, 'cause that would make sense." He gently placed the clothing back into the tree's hollow and turned to look passed the woman. He had not been looking when the wolf walked away, but it did not look like one of his brethren. Full-blooded werewolves tended to be much larger than an average wolf; Bade himself rivaled a small horse.

"Did you see a wolf..." He realized how weird his question was a raised his brows as if to finish it, offering a lopsided smile as an apology for the weirdness.
As the light caught the mans eyes the woman perked a brow she was a bit curious of course, curiosity was practically part of her job description. However she made no real comment on it. Variel shift her weight from foot to foot, keeping warm more than anything. Just because it looks nice out, doesn't mean it isn't cold you idiot again silently braiding herself. She didn't seem to be irritated though, she was actually seemed to be pleased, he hadn't made the connection, yet.

"A wolf?" her eyes widened with feigned fear, "No...where did you see it." She began to look around. Of course Variel had already figured out what she was going to say in regards to her attire. She was running of course, a brisk run did a person good. Thankfully the she was in shape enough to back that lie up, the only thing that might deceive that were her bare feet.

The woman stepped from the bushes and moved over to the hallow. "Well...that cuts my run for the night short, barely got started too." She pulled the coat from the hallow and strung her arms through the sleeves.
Had she not mentioned what she was doing out here, Bade probably wouldn't have even thought to ask, much less to think her attire was out of the ordinary. Had she even looked at what he was wearing? Frowning at her ignorance of the wolf, Bade shrugged it off. Perhaps he was seeing things? he hadn't been drinking so really that made no sense at all. The animal had probably just left of its own accord and avoided the new human. "Oh, yea, out for a run." He glanced at his appearance and truly hoped this woman wasn't going to ask what he'd been doing out here; he really had no viable response.

"It's a nice night, I guess, for that." He nodded, his eyes roving the landscape. He wished the wolf would come back, it probably wasn't going to judge him.
After pulling it on she buttoned the coat, then stooped to put her shoes on. As she stooped down she caught sight of his leg, a brow was perked as she slipped on her shoes. Once she straightened up she had a better look over the man, observing his tattered clothing. "A nice enough night. Are you okay?" she was saying in reference to his leg, "You leg looks painful.." she wasn't trying to sound condescending, and seriously hoped she didn't.

(sorry for the slow/short post the next will be better, god this weekend is ridiculously busy)
As if he needed to be reminded, he looked down at his thigh and stuck his fingers through the whole in his jeans, which he realized now was red with blood. Old blood, it seemed. His fingers met with a scabbed area of his leg which stung when touched. "I think I will be fine; it probably looks worse than it is, to be honest." He offered a lopsided grin and removed his hand from his pants, realizing how awkward that probably looked.

"Ah, well, don't let me hold you up, English," he nodded towards the woods. 'If you're going to go for a run, then be my guest." He smiled what he hoped was an inviting and none threatening or I'm going to track you down and murder you grin. "And I promise not to touch your clothes again." He winked light-heartedly.
The young woman watched him prod at his leg, wincing slightly. It sure looks like it's painful, or at least it was when it was fresher she thought to herself after he had explained about the wound. Her face cracked a slight grin as he called her English, she pushed her hands into her pockets as he winked to her.

"I wonder how you found them, I had hidden them fairly well," her tone was inquisitive, "But," the grin came to her lips once more, "Evidently not well enough. I think my run might have to wait for another evening." a soft nonchalant shrug was given. The story of a run was only a half lie, she had intended to run but not in this form.

[holy crap this slipped my net. If I ever take more than two days to post, please message me -_-']
[First off, never feel badly for taking your time responding, I know you've been feeling burnt out. Secondly, expect the same thing from me XD I can take a few days to answer as well.]

"Uhm," he was at a loss as to how to answer; he wasn't a very good liar. Not a particularly good trait for someone who really had something to hide. He panicked inwardly, looking from her to the tree hollow where the clothes had been and back to her. However, she saved him from answering when she continued talking. Relieved, he nodded.

"Sorry about that. I will let you be." He sort of bowed out of the clearing, moving away from her as fast as possible. Something caused the hairs of the back of his neck to rise and he felt a lump forming in his stomach. The night was calling to him again and he did not want to be around her when his body answered.
