Alma started to walk in a different direction from the shriek of the zombie. "Let's pick up the pace" she told the others as she heard the sound increasing over time. She didn't know quite if the argument between the two was over but she couldn't think about that now, she has more pressing matters at hand.
Nico shivers as the shriek seems to echo through his bones. He draws his gun and keeps it close to him and he begins to break into a faster walk. For the past few months he had managed to avoid the scarier zombie breeds. "Have you dealt with these things before?" Nico asks, not sure who exactly he is asking.

Isabelle didn't say anything. She kept behind Alma and Nico and simply followed them.
"A few times" she replied, "Why, haven't you encountered them before?" She had assumed that Nico at least killed one of these things before. Alma eventually saw a building of some sorts in the distance. She started to make her way towards it, she didn't exactly know what she'd find but that didn't matter at the moment.
"No, dealt with runners. But screamers like this...never actually heard one in person," Nico says, slowing his pace to match Isabelle's to make sure she doesn't try and kill him from behind. "We goin' to that building?"
"I guess so."Isabelle replied.
Alma arrived at the building and opened the door, for whatever reason it wasn't locked. She stepped through and held the door open for Nico and Isabelle to walk through.
Nico enters and stays quiet, walking to the left into a small living room. On the wall is a mounted TV. Off, of course. It's a very large building and Nico swears he hears footsteps. "We should clear it. Might as well search for shit while we're here," he says, before wandering into the kitchen and immediately opening the refrigerator. "Holy shit!" Nico yells from the kitchen.
"What did you find?"Isabelle asked.
Alma walked quickly to Nico see what he had discovered. "What did you find?" She asked him
"I found the goddamn motherload!" Nico shouts in excitement as he shows them the fully stocked refrigerator. "Look at this! Juice, Bread, Fruit, Eggs, Water," Nico stops and thinks for a second. "The fridge...it's working...is it running on a battery or something?" Nico asks. Wait...this is full. What's the chance that someone might actually live here?
"Wait.... there's a workign refrigerator in here?"Isabelle asked confused. "It could be a trap. And if it's not I'd assume it belongs to someone else."Isabelle said.
Alma thought about the whole situation. There must be others living in this area, whether it was a trap or not, they needed to know. She looked around herself. "We should check the whole building" she said. She proceeded to walk further into the building. "We should stick together"
"Yeah, let's clear this place," Nico says, fiddling around with his gun. "How many stories you think there are? Two? Three? Four?" Nico asks, hoping to get a feel of how easy this could be.
"I don't know. Let's just get going." Isabelle said.
"I don't know" Alma said, eventually finding some stairs. Slowly she began to go up the stairs, keeping an eye out for anything suspicious.
"No way in hell were leaving," Nico says to Isabelle, quickly scurrying to Alma and following close behind her.
"Fine. If this turns out to be a trap, it's your funeral..."Isabelle said.
Alma eventually arrived at the next floor. She slowly started searching around the area. She didn't appear to find anything, just more of the same. As she was walking away however she heard the slow creak of a door opening.
Nico stays quiet and searches for where the sound came from. It wasn't the wind. There was no wind. In addition, most flesh-eating assholes weren't smart enough to open doors. Nico's raider blood boils in his veins. Whoever is here, Nico is more than willing to kill them for their supplies.
