Alle blushed profusely when Aria smiled at her. Her heart gave a flutter, causing a shiver down her back. What she was about to say came out incoherent as her voice got caught in her throat. When Aria finished speaking she had regained her composure. "You are a powerful witch, Aria. What is your wand made of?" Her eyes betrayed her, although so hadn't her cheeks. Even so she kept them downcast, shyly focusing on Iridesa's feet and allowing her haor to shield her. This was quite unlike Allestrina. She was now torn. A part of her wished they could hurry up and get to her bed in the hufflepuff common room. The other part of her wanted to be right here, close to Aria
Iridesa looked at the brunette opposite of her, wondering whether the girl had met her brother and if they'd become besties, because she seemed to be enough of a bookworm to connect to him on a personal level.
Desa herself liked the Hufflepuff girl more - she liked Quidditch, for one, even if she was awfully bubbly for a girl her age.

The white-haired one, though, was a hard one for Iridesa to decifer, until she saw the Prefect's badge perched proudly on her chest and raised an eyebrow - goodness, Sebastian would have a field day amongst so many goody-two-shoes.

"So, what are your names?" she decided to ask.
Aria shakes her head and smiles to Alle. She gives her a playful nudge and giggles. "I'm not powerful. I just study a lot. My wand is vine wood with a dragon heartstring core." She shrugged a bit. "Nothing special."

Her attention turned to the young student when asked about their names. "I am Aria.. Valacari unfortunately." She let out a soft sigh after speaking her last name. It should not get to her so much but it still did. Five years and the pain and memories still has not healed though she was doing much better to pick herself up. She thought about the female's introduction earlier then tilts her head "Bevetta? Do you have an older brother? I think I have had classes with someone with the last name of Bevetta before."

She cheered up a bit. "I can't wait to get to school though honestly. I am ready for the feast. I am so hungry." She rubbed her belly a bit then giggles. She could really eat but she ran enough that she kept the appearance off.
"A fitting wand." That was about all Alle was able to muster, although she smiled shakily at Aria. She pursed her lips, beginning to drown in her own thoughts. Realizing quickly she was in company - she snapped out of it and refocused on the group.

That was when something caught her eye. She arched her brow, pulling out the card that had slid into their compartment. "Bloody 'ell - wha' is tha'?" She pointed at it.
Aria would shrug a little then smiles, "I guess in a way all of our wands choose us." She would lean back against the seat then tilts her head when Alle's eye was caught by something. "What is it?" She asked a bit curious. She did not make any effort towards the card though.
{SOOO SOrry guys. I had a death in the family but it seems the holiday s are slowing down for me now}
Thea looked at Iridesa and smiled kindly sticking her wand back behind her ear. "I am Thea Lovegood and I am sorry to say that first years are still not allowed to go out for the team. Though I am going to be seeing if this year I can start a training session for first years to teach them the game and let them get some practice in before their second year. I know so many who wish to join at first year but cannot make it because they do not know the rules at second year." She smiled listening to the other two and chuckled to herself seeing the exchange. She arched her own snowy brow seeing the card pushed under. "What in the world is that?" She so did not want to have to deal with any more drama before getting to the school. She wanted a nice relaxing start of term.
Desa looked at the snow-headed girl with respect, deciding that since she was the one paying proper attention to her, she would be Iridesa's preferred conversational partner.
"I'm sure it's safety measured more than anything. Quidditch can get pretry violent and an 11 year old amongst the bludgers might not be... safe." she said, sad to be shooting down her own optimism to play the sport. Though she had practiced at home with her brother, she'd never experienced actual bludgers before - only Quaffle tag with Sebastian since other Quidditch balls weren't allowed.
"I do know the rules, though I guess that hardly matters. I've practiced-"

Cut off by the Hufflepuff's exclamation, Iridesa looked to her annoyed, but her attention was caught by the card Allestrina now held in her hand.
Desa raised an eyebrow, confused.
Aria listened to the two talking about quidditch. After they went silent she spoke up, "Is there a way to train them without flying? They have to learn to fly first, I would think. But that is a cool idea and I am sure the first years would love it.

Aria turned to Iridesa and nodded, "Alot of the eleven year olds I have seen are rather small. Take one of those to the body and they would likely be knocked off their broom."

(I am sorry to hear that. That is horrible especially around the holidays.)
Allestrina opened the envelope, curious as it had the same Hogwarts Seal as her acceptance letter five years prior. She read aloud: "Dear Students, Hogwarts was attacked this morning at ten o'clock. We apologize for the notice being given like this, but it is with your safety in mind. Your train is being rerouted and each student shall be given a room in various parts of the Wizarding World. The Hogwarts Express will be divided into stops 1 through 21. Announcements will be made only numerically at each stop as we must keep our actions as secret as possible. Please ensure that you exit at your correct stop as it will be your only contact with us and your parents. Anyone found purposely changing compartments or not exiting at their stop will be sent immediately home. Anyone wishing to go back home may stay on board and elect to go home as our final stop, 22. Your stops have been divided by compartment. Your compartment number is 13. DO NOT CHANGE COMPARTMENTS. anyone found wandering between apartments shall be ushered back inside.

Do not be scared, all efforts are being made to ensure your safety. All compartments will be given a room and food upon arrival."

Alle looked at her compartment-mates, her eyes had widened in shock and fright by the time she had finished reading. Her face had a slight pallor.
(Damn, I should've brought Sebastian over before this Dx Can I have him sneak in because of Desa? He's a smart boy xD Or, since he's in a close compartment, I can have him and Alfie (my other char, who can be in the same compartment as Seb) be escorted to places that are close to the girls' temporary residence)

Mirror image of Allestrina, Iridesa had paled and was looking incredibly frightened. This was her first year! It was her first year and things were already falling apart at a scarily quick pace, on the first day nonetheless, before they'd even reached Hogwarts grounds. Momentary rage overcame her after the few moments of unadulterated terror; why not send them home anyway? Were their homes not safe enough? But then again, Higwarts had been rumoured the most secure place in the Wizarding Rule and that had been undermined as well.

She hoped her parents wouldn't stand for this and would come pick her up quixk - she hardly knew these girls, she wanted to be back home, not stuck here and- Sebastian!

"My brother's in a different compartment." she said, voice small and weepy, worry clearly evident in it. "We're going to get separated."
The news of the attack did not frighten Aria as much as it angered her. She would look to Alle, "Attacked? Who in their right mind would attack Hogwarts? I thought all of this nonsense was over with when the Second War ended?"

She got up and walked over to the door of the compartment and looked out for a moment to see if anyone was around. She was too on edge to sit still. She walked back and leaned against the window of the compartment with her back to it facing the other females.

Silently she watched the younger believing something like this could be frightening for her. She would nod "Stay close and you'll be fine. We are six years after all. We have survived dueling." She listened about her brother then nodded. "Let's see if we can't get him in. Do you have any means of communicating with him? A two way mirror would be perfect if the two of you had one. I can send Arctic to send him a message if not."

She pointed over to her owl that was sitting in his cage rather calmly despite the tension in the room from the current upsetting news.
(I doubt 21 stops= 21 compartments x4 students. Thats not even 100 across 7 years of hogwarts - no way it covers all hogwarts students. Chances are 3-4 others got 13. Id play it that way)
Allestrina winced at Aria's third party accusations, though they weren't aimed at her. Obviously, she was on her way to platform 9 3/4 at 10:00. It's not like she could have been 'Two Places at Once'. That would be improbable!

That said, she certainly wouldn't have the right mind to attack hogwarts. In fact, she had trouble deciding what clothes to bring for school this year.

She listened as the exchange between Aria and Desa unfolded. She sighed. What would her parents think? She definitely was not about to go back to London. She chimed in, "I will leave with whoever gets off at stop 13." Her breath was shallow and fast. She tried to will her heart to stop beating. Her elven ears shook a little.
Jacob heard the announcement as did the others in his compartment, but he'd never been one to leave such matters to others. To the protest of his housemates in the compartment, the wiry teen drew his wand and stepped out of the compartment, deciding to find a prefect. If anything were to start, he'd be able to deal with it. He was one of the few students that had focused more on dueling than common spell work.

Walking down the corridor, and keeping his hazel eyes alert for trouble, Jacob kept his wand in his hand. Eventually coming upon Aria's compartment and recognizing her as one of her year, he knocked on the window with the back of his hand. He hissed his words out, loud enough to be heard inside the compartment but not down the hall. "Is there a prefect in there? What the hell is going on?"
