Size: Humanoid Medium (normally)
Basic Stats:
● High- Dexterity, Intelligence, Wisdom
● Medium- Stamina, Charisma, Constitution
● Low- Strength
Skills: Acrobatics, Fly & Hover (if their abilities allows this), Perception, Increased Healing, Stealth, Speed, Swim, Heightened Senses, Disguise, Knowledge (Arcana & Celestial), Linguistics (many Parallax can speak many languages), Use Magic Device
Traits: Darkvision, Maintain a certain internal temperature (108F) , Total Darkness/ or Void Empowerment (one not both), and others explained below
Immune to: Bleed effects, Darkness, Void,
Resistance: Cold, Heavy Gravity (like black holes)
Racial Weakness: Same vulnerabilities as humans (yes even the Parallax are susceptible to this), except where specifically stated
Diet: Same diet as humans and Darkness/Void Energy, as well as Celestial energy from a Spectrum
Environment: Earth, & Vacuum
Goals: To attain chaos and destruction within space once more, to clear it of all stars, and return it to its former darkened glory.
Leadership: Due to the Parallax being based off Chaos, they tend to follow no one but themselves. They may have a common goal, but each has their own way to achieve that goal. No one knows what could possibly happen if the Parallax did decide to band together.
Parallax- No one really knows the history of the Parallax. It is said that they are born from the collapse of a star giving into chaos and darkness over time. It has also been said that one Parallax could absorb another to become stronger. The Parallax are said to be stars that have given into chaos and darkness. These stars have collapsed upon themselves ultimately causing shifts in the universe or black holes. They are chaos and destruction incarnate. Like Spectrum's, they achieve declination by falling to a planet and are reflections of their darkened star and chaos within the universe.
Aurora- Like the Spectrum, Parallax have a tendency to have a “darkened glow” to them if they ever experience human emotion, which is pretty rare.
Darkness Eyes- Like the Spectrum, The Parallax’s eyes can reflect their darkened star, a black hole where their star was, or nothingness where their star was. This can also be covered by Glamour and instead their eyes will appear grey or dark brown.
Blood- Their blood is darker than a normal person’s blood, and depending on the amount of chaos and darkness they gave into, their blood may even appear black. As where the Spectrum's blood can give massive amounts of energy and be addictive, Parallax's blood tends to be "heavy" and saps the drinker of their own energy and pulls it into themselves much like a black hole pulls in anything and everything. This causes the individual to descend into chaos and darkness and become a minion dedicated to that Parallax, seeming lifeless and almost like a zombie with ashy skin and hallow eyes, lacking most emotion. The death of the Parallax becomes their own death.
Parallax Symbol- Unlike the Spectrum, the Parallax do not carry a symbol on their bodies. Instead, a massive weight can be felt around them when they enter a room.
Transform!- Sometimes, to fit in with humans, the Parallax will lead normal everyday lives. In this case, they can still transform to their fighting-ready Parallax selves.
Unique Magical Abilities- These abilities should be based off of their dark star, lack of star, or black hole.
Gravitational Pull- Physical strike that would -not- damage the Spectrum’s body, but instead damage their star slightly.
Void Summoning- Summons an x amount of small void minions where x is the amount of mana spent.
Large Void Summoning- Can only be used on currently summoned void minions. The Parallax forces minions to combine into a larger minion depending upon how much mana is spent.
Dark Matter- The ability to use dark matter as an attack. The dark matter is summoned in a small sphere within the Parallax’s hands. Once the dark matter leaves the sphere it will explode within an instant. A small amount can be very destructive.
