This is the most important event. History up until this point almost mirrors our own. After this event magical creatures such as elves, pixies, and of course the Kaiju are now a part of the world. Humanity had to adjust and in this desperate hour the major governments of Earth have become the United Earth Federation.
Technology/Magic
Both technology and magic are apart of this roleplay.
Technology is slightly more advanced than our own time line, in that there are few laser weapons, mechanized war machines etc.
Magic is also present due to the event that pulled both Kaiju and other magical beings into our world.
