Reports were coming in all over the world to the UEF HQ. Troops were sent and it seemed to not bode well for them.
A class 3 monster was rampaging and causing destruction on a grand scale. The city of Sydney Australia was under siege. The creature could best be described as a large viper. It seemed to shoot bolts of lighting from its mouth and was mostly unfazed by most of their attacks. A fleet of naval battle ships and a carrier carrying mech-suits were on their way. Would they get there in time to save the city?

Mounted upon air-craft carriers, and equipped with Vanguard Over-Boost Units, that's where Kristoff and his fellow LYNXE's remain in station. Kristoff's NEXT, The Argent Lancer has its usual armaments; fully automatic weapons, a missile hangar, and a radar. Alongside him was the legendary White Glint, with his own purposely built parts and high-damaging long-range rifles. Finally, there was Shinkai, the melee specialist in this operation with his machine gun, and laser blade. Alongside these NEXT's were various suicide drones and expendable GOPPERT-G3 Normals at the ready. The major corporations of Earth understand the gravity of the situation with these kaijus so they're willing to poor as many resources as they can into the defence of Earth.
A voice came over the com and Kristoff's team would be alerted "We're approaching Sydney harbor. As soon as the first volley arrives your team is greenlit to make their approach to the shore line. Good luck out there" The com channel cut and there was the loud sound of dozens of heavy firepower going off outside. It'd be enough to level a section of the city. This however only suppressed their target.
The large serpent roared and hissed in pain. A large beam of lightning arced from its mouth and cut two ships in half, sinking them in a firey explosion. The GO signal lit up on all of the LYNXES HUDs. It was time to see what they could do against this Class 3.

The ships that were hit contained some of the standard Normals at their disposals as well as a few suicide drones which immediately explode on impact.
"Alright boys! Ready?!" Kristoff calls through the radio to Shinkai and White Glint.
"Oorah! Let's do this!" White Glint responds with his ever so cocky attitude.
"Affirmative, let this encounter be the last for this beast." Shinkai responds calmly.
As soon as the signal came up, they fire up their VOB's and launch themselves toward the kaiju at blinding speed, the remaining suicide drones accompanying them as they boost. Provided the kaiju shoots at them, they have the capacity to boost out of the way of an attack, and continue with their charge. As they make their way to the kaiju, White Glint lets off a hail of rifle fire at the kaiju. The hits would do a minor amount of damage, the damage equivalent of a standard rail-gun.

The large snake did in fact fire beams of lightning at the incoming attackers. However that wasn't the only problem. Flying Kaiju, class 2s and 1s came out of the woodworks to ambush some of the drones and attempt to give the pilots obstacles before they reached the mainland. The rifle rounds that do make connection with the large snake cause it to roar in annoyance more than anything. The creature smashed its head into the ground and burrowed into the island.
"Uh-oh..." Kristoff mutters through the radio as the extra kaiju make their approach towards the LYNXE's. "Shinkai! You go on ahead! We'll distract these bastards."
Suddenly White Glint calls out. "We?! Do you mean-"
"Yes..." Kristoff cuts him off.
White Glint grumbles. "Fine..."
They purge their VOB's and lag back, firing at the incoming kaijus while Shinkai continues forward. Although Shinkai is unsure where the serpent may appear next, he keeps his wits about him, and attempts to scan the area beneath him to find the kaiju.

"Yes..." Kristoff cuts him off.

There suddenly came a bright light from the sky, almost like a second sun. When the light cleared, something like a young, blond boy stood aloft in the air, one with bright, shining wings on his back. His body gave off a bright light, enough to attract the attention of the creatures present.
"Don't be alarmed, humans!" the boy called, raising his hands over his head. Suddenly, the wings on his back dissipated and reassembled themselves into a large, shimmering bow in the boy's hands. "I will deal with the flying fiends. Focus your attack on the serpent!" He lowered his weapon toward the flying beasts, and when he drew back one hand, a golden arrow formed from nothingness, and a silver string pulled it taught.
Then he released the arrow.

Eliya's attacks were successful at keeping the beasts at bay. This helped in the assault towards the large serpent's den. However there was something wrong. A rumbling underneath the island and then screams over the com channel.
Over in the bay a ship had been frozen solid and broken in half. The serpent emerged its large head from the water and raised up. A beam of ice cascaded out of its mouth at another ship, claiming it as victim.
"Onyx fleet, retreat. There's nothing more we can do here" They said as they fired missiles, shells and other heavy arms at the creature only to have it continue its pursuit of them.

He pulled the shining, golden ring from over his head and held it aloft, watching it grow until it's diameter was longer than his own body. The ring floated over in front of him between the angel and the monster. "Taste the wrath of an angel!" A small ball of light formed from inside of the enlarged halo before exploding in a flooding torrent of energy spewing out over the serpent's face.
"Want more!?" he asked. "Take more!" The angel let out a loud cry that echoed through the battlefield. The energy torrent doubled in intensity all over the serpent, and the angel only prayed that it would be enough, and that the humans wouldn't be overwhelmed by the flying beasts in the meantime.
He pulled the shining, golden ring from over his head and held it aloft, watching it grow until it's diameter was longer than his own body. The ring floated over in front of him between the angel and the monster. "Taste the wrath of an angel!" A small ball of light formed from inside of the enlarged halo before exploding in a flooding torrent of energy spewing out over the serpent's face.

The large serpent hissed, a beam of ice arced through the sky in response to the angel. Though it was a feint! If the angel dodged he'd be met with a large tail moving to swat him from the sky like a fly. Though the continued assault would cause the snake to retreat back into the depths of the sea.

The serpent began to attempt and coil around the now giant sized angel trying to beat the snot out of it. Hiss-like roars were made and it bared its fangs. It lunged in an attempt to bite the angel. If it did bite him it'd cause a pocket of ice to form and slowly expand.
The NEXTs were holding off the flying beasts pretty well. The rumbling continued and from the den popped out a second serpent. It opened its maw and a bolt of lightning raced across the sky. IT split in many different bolts. One for each of the NEXT pilots. Yet there was another rumble under the city of Sydney.

The angel quickly plucked his halo from his head and jammed it against the serpent's mouth, staving off it's bite. After a moment of struggle, he put the golden ring over the serpent's maw, where it shrunk down enough to seal it shut.
But When the next bolt arced into the sky, the angel's heart ached for the pilots, so he lifted his wings in order to draw in the current, knowing full well that a direct hit could spell the end of the battle for him.

Shinkai's VOB had suddenly depleted in energy. "VOB depleted, purging!" The feminine artificial voice echoes through his cockpit, before the parts of the VOB break off from his NEXT to which he's left gliding in mid-air with his regular boosters. His heart falls as a second serpent emerges from the den. "Shit! We'll let the angel deal with that other thing. Wait..."
Their scanners beep as the bolts from the serpent home towards them. Kristoff and the others raised their Primal Armour shields, ready to take the bolts with great duress.

It started to grow limp in the Angel's grasp, unable to open its mouth to defend itself it flailed its tail in a last ditch effort to give its comrade time to come and save it.

"What are you waiting for then?! Initiate it!"
"Um, sir... We've equipped it with high-intensity kojima missiles so we're gonna have to draw it out of the civilian area."
"What?! Are you f-" Kristoff interjects.
"He's right. We can't afford to spread kojima contamination to the populated areas."
"Gah! Fine!" White Glint exclaims, obviously in disapprovement of this ploy.

Eliya's angelic ears picked up the transmission. If they needed an unpopulated area, they would get one.
"I can send this thing further out to sea, or all the way to the heart of the Australian desert!" Eliya cried out. He suddenly felt himself grow slightly faint. He had taken too much abuse to doddle now. "I only need a little more time! Which way do your weapons need it to be!?"
