"What happened?" The operator calls out as the angel falls into the depths of the sea. The operator listens and acknowledges the angels instructions. "All LYNXE's, try and draw the serpents to this spot, here I'll mark it on your radar." He places a waypoint inside their huds. "Quick! We're running out of time!"

Behind the metal visage of his NEXT, Kristoff smiles. "Shinkai! White Glint! Follow my lead!" He orders before switching his boosters on override and rams into the electric serpent, with the intention to move it closer to the angel.

"Kris! What are you doing?!" White Glint Calls out.

"Just shut up and follow!" Kristoff responds, before White Glint and Shinkai do the same.

The monsters were moving into position. Eliya was still in the process of healing himself and recovering his strength. He wasn't quite there yet, but the serpents were almost in place. During this time, he formulated his plan in his mind. First the halo, then the wings.

It wouldn't be long now.
There was already so much destruction, but it was all about to end! With Eliya finally back to full strength, he took off his halo and threw it back up though the surface of the water, there it grew and expanded until it was wide enough to encircle both serpents.

Once it did so, the angel laced his fingers together, causing the halo to shrink down until it bound them all together into a giant, wriggling mass.

"And now for the grand finale!" Eliya converted his wings into the Grinder once more and flew up to the monsters, and it wasn't long until his heavenly weapon began boring through one of them.
"Quick! Disengage!" The operator calls through the radio, to which LYNXE's respond with a unified "Yes sir!" Before boosting their way out of the halo's reach.

White Glint smirks. "Guess we don't need Giga Base after all." He jests.

"It would seem so." Shinkai says.

Him and the other LYNXES boost their way out of the massively demolished urban environment. "Don't worry boys, you'll get your pay. The Interior Union will try and pay for the damages done here. Good job everybody."
Eliya drilled through one serpent, and another, until finally he pierced through the electric colossal snakes. He began to tangle with the largest of the serpents who seemed to grow weaker "This fight isn't over yet," he told the pilots. "My weapons are powerful, but so are these creatures. I should be able to restrain them until they bleed out, but these waters are now contaminated. You must keep everyone away from here until it can be purified."
Eliya landed on the ruins of the city. So much destruction. He wanted to fix it. He wanted to undo all of the damage, stack all of the stones back on top of each other the way they were supposed to be.

He looked up into the sky, his arms lifting slowly. His feet dangled above the ground.
The operator requests a transmission throughout the city. The transmission was brief; avoid the contaminated areas of the city. A crew was sent to place larger markers in the contaminated areas. The LYNXE's look back at the destruction left in their wake. "Damn..." Kristoff mutters. "We did it..."

"Alright boys. We'll let the angel do his work here. For now, keep an eye on those kaijus." The operator calls out to them.
No. He was denied. He was not allowed to repair the city. He turned toward the sea. There was one thing he was allowed to do, though. There was monster blood polluting the sea, possibly killing whatever coral and wildlife that hadn't already been crushed during the battle. This water would inevitably harm the humans as well. The angel plucked a feather from his wing and walked out on top of the surface of the water.

The sea was already discolored from the monster blood. Eliya dropped his feather into the water, and all at once all of the contamination was gone. The feather floated up from the surface of the water, now dark, deep red rather than the pure white it used to be. The angel held his hand under it, and the feather lit on fire. A moment later that flame erupted, reaching two stories above his hand. The flames cleared, and the feather was gone.
"What's he doing?" The operator questions as the angel walks on the surface of the polluted water.

"Wait..." Kristoff stares as the water becomes clearer as the feather emerges from it. "Woah..."

"Damn... we could really use your help again angel. Doubtless, your abilities will prove beneficial." The operator says. "We didn't quite get your name. Is it Michael or something?"
Eliya laughed. "Oh please. You flatter me. If I were Michael, those monsters would have been ground to hamburger meat in seconds and cast into the flames of Gehena. No, I am the Angel Eliya, the delivery angel. I have come to deliver mankind from its one-sided fight from the beasts." He lifted into the air. "My power is limited, and so are the ways in which I am allowed to help. For example, I am not cleared to help in the repair of the city. That much is something man must do for himself. But I will help in battle against the monsters."
"Sure thing Eliya. The Interior Union will pay for the destruction of Sydney. But, judging from your magic, you seem to be able to help with the waters. Well, I guess as an agent of God it'd be your duty to care for the environment. Am I right?" The operator continues.

"Gah, I hate Magic." White Glint arrogantly says as the LYNXE's depart and land on the nearest aircraft carrier for repairs.
"Magic, heh, I guess that is the word you humans have decided to use for it," said Eliya. "Well, actually, my primary function has to do with protecting humanity. I'm cleaning the water for your own good. If that stuff got into the atmosphere, it would end up killing more people than any monster attack. This stuff is not to be trifled with. That's why I can't let you humans get your hands on it either." He looked up into the sky. "My job is done here. I must take my leave. I'll returned when I'm needed. Go with God, sons of man!"
"Wait Eliya! Do you have time for a review? We could use the extra bit of info on our allies, provided you're okay with that." The operator asks of him, obviously eager to learn more on the angel.

"Just let him go. I'm sure the dealings of angels are more important than us mere mortals." Shinkai comments.
"Sorry! No can do!" chirped Eliya. "I an only allow you to know so much. Don't worry, I'll be back. See you all later!" With that, his image blinked out of their sights and out of all of their detection equipment.

It was as if he was never there to begin with, save for the freshly purified water. It was so pure in fact that human pollution had also been removed from that area for the time being.
"Um... okay..." White Glint mutters.

"Alright, let's get out of here. We'll send a clean up crew to fix things up a bit. Good job everybody." Suddenly a loud cacophony of cheering can be heard within the ships. Finally it seems, their work is complete. "God be praised..."
Eliya wasn't really gone, not completely. He was out of reach to the humans and their instruments, yes, but he was still looking down upon them. He searched the hearts of the fighting men for one who was worthy to reach out to. Having an angel speak to a human was no trivial matter. He needed to find the right human.
