I've always been interested in a Kaiju that builds rather than simply destroys. Sure, what they build could be a menace to society, but it's still a change to the normal formula.
Imagine something birdlike with a huge, thick beak that it uses to grind stone for material. It then carries this material in a special containment unit in its body where it's ground up into a kind of cement. It then regurgitates this cement onto a desirable spot and shapes it into whatever it sees fit, typically a nest of some sort. It could weaponize this by hawking cement lugies at people to trap them. It would only dry really quickly if it lays it down deliberately, exposing a lot of surface area. The attack would therefore not dry that fast, allowing for counter-play.

That would be interesting. Though I think an insectoid Kaiju might be more fitting for that. This idea actually ave me one of my own. Construction Mechs. Mechs built to repair the damage done by a Kaiju in half the time a normal construction crew could.
Also had the idea of a mech that turns into a battle ship of some sort for easier transport.

As for another type of monster, we could always have one that stars small but builds itself to colossal size through assimilating the world around it. Anything that's not nailed down could work, or it could be a specific type of material.

ooooo I like that idea! Maybe there could be a Gang of Kaiju liek this? Each one grows from absorobing or consuming different materials?
That could be fun! Stone, metal, wood, different things for different places maybe? It'll take some refining, but still.
Well, we need people for this kind of thing, you know, someone to play the monster for the purpose of being defeated at some point.
Well I'm always open to playing multple characters
All well and good, but we should include at least one more player somehow.

Possibly. Admittedly though Kaiju rp's seem to be a really specific niche. Still worth trying though

Awesome!! I'm thinking something that can deal better with Eliya and his might. Eliya's real advantage comes from the fact that his spiritual body really has no physical limitations. A foe with a supernatural bent, however, would prove far more effective against him.
A Cursed Graveyard. A Graveyard or indian burial ground that got cursed some time ago that's able to use the souls of those buried in it to form int oa gaint monster.
That only leaves the problem of elemental rock-paper-scissors. Eliya, being an angel, obviously wields holy energies which naturally dispel darkness. Nocturnal or darkness-craving entities, like various ghost types or vampires, are often frightfully powerful, but easily wilt in the light of the sun, which Eliya can easily provide.
Demonic forces, however, are a little more advanced, since they don't rely as heavily on the carnal element as vampires. Vampires, in a sense, is a human being fast on their way to becoming a demon. A vampire without its normal weaknesses is pretty much that anyway.
So how would this big guy work?
