"I don't care if you care. I do what I want on my own terms." He said walking away towards Zoey.
Zoey was quietly sitting in the tree, not holding the book as it floated infront of her, the page would flip by itself every few seconds or so.

Zoey glanced down at Aleck briefly before looking back at her book. Echo floated in front of Aleck. *start a conversation.*
"Move and I will." He replied to Echo.
Echo stared and then shrugged floating up to sit on Zoey's head. She glanced upwards at Echo's presence then back at her book.
"That flying critter is very annoying."
Zoey looked down at the boy. "Yes, he can be quite a hassle." She said with a sigh. "I apologize if he's bothering you."
"No need. I'm used to annoyance. Grew up around five siblings."
She seemed to scoff. "Five? I have one sister and i couldn't imagine having more."

"Well my five siblings are the most crazy ones anyone could ever have.* He said with a chuckle. "Annoying, but they never once failed to make me feel at home."
"Naomi just made my home loud and annoying." She said with a sigh. "Although she did cook."
"I take it she didn't burn the house down?" He said. "Aleck Hellfire."
"That's only because we lived in a cave." She said with a chuckle. "Zoey Kendall, and the rabbit is Echo."
"I wouldn't exactly call it a rabbit. It looks nothing like one."
"Well he's a Wolpertinger, basically a fancy rabbit."
"He's the rabbit that Alice followed then?"
"Only if I'm Alice, although I'm not so lucky." She said with a laugh.
"As you don't go through the rabbit hole you'll be fine."
"I suppose you're right. Although have the time I do feel like I'm in wonderland anyway." She said with a shrug.
