He smiled, "You're welcome."
She kept smiling. "So, um.. how long will you be working tonight?"
"My shift is almost up. What do you have in mind?"
"Well, like I said earlier, there's a party at Sky if you're interested." She said with a shrug.
"I would be pleased to attend it" he said, "With you of course."
She smiled. "Cool. I don't know how long I'll stay there though."
"It's fine. The least it will keep me occupied."
She nodded. "That's true." She said as she finished her drink.
"Still want another one?" he asked.
"Ummm... no thanks, I think I'll switch to water. Don't want to get drunk just yet."
He placed a glass of water in front of her, "So you do plan to get drunk."
She shrugged. "Haven't actually decided. I just know that if I get drunk now, I'll ruin the evening."
"Understandable. Do you want food?"
"Oh, yes please. That sounds good." She said with a smile.
He went down under the counter, "Hmmmm. Do you mind something sweet? Or something salty?"
He came over with a bowl of chips and salsa in front of her, "Would this do?"
"That will do wonderfully, thank you." She said with a smile as she took a chip and dipped it in the salsa before eating it.
