Restia giggled, "How hurt. How cute~." "I see" he said.
*I'm not cute, I'm ferocious.* Zoey nodded as Echo turned his head back.
"Now cuter" she said as she went for a pet. "So what was that book?" he asked.
"It's called the Art of Tea, it's an old Japanese philosophical work." She said. Echo seemed to glare at Restia.
She continued to pet Echo and giggled. "Can you tell me what's it about?" he asked.
"It tells how different tea ceremonies have different meaning in the universe, comparing them with meditation and even religion." She said. "Although unless you read it in it's original translation it just sound like a lot of things having to do with tea." She said a shadow of a smile on her face as the elegant Japanese writing on the title seemed to shine in the light. *I hope my antlers poke you.* he said a bit annoyed as his ears twitched a little.
"Hmmm that is an interesting way for a comparison. Understandable for those who understand Japanese tea ceremonies. I might hear it on my free time" he said. "Ear twitching" she said as she continued to pet.
Zoey nodded. "It's an interesting read." *yes, I am part rabbit, my ears twitch.*
"So you like books?" he asked. "How cute~" she said as she continued to pet.
She nodded. "I like them quite a lot, reading is what I do in most of my spare time." Echo's ears continued to twitch a bit as his nose slightly twitched as well. *This is slightly demeaning*
"Hehehe~" she said as she continued. "Something to think about? To wander your mind off?" he asked.
She nodded. "I read fiction to let my mind wander, everything else is just learning and improving my knowledge." She said with a nod. Echo sighed. *I have been left to nothing but an uncommon house pet.* he said sadly.
"Now what did I say~" she said enchantingly while continuing. "Understandable" he said.
"So you read a lot?" She asked. Echo just sighed.
"Yes. Most of my life" he said. "Hehehe~" she said with a giggle.
"What do you read?" She asked. Echo sat there.
"Any kinds. Nothing really specific. Though I do take interest in magic books" he said. "Aw poor Echo" she said as she tried to pick him up.
"I read more mythology and legends than I do specific magic." She said. Echo allowed himself to be picked up.
"Interested in those books for?" he asked. She giggled and belly rubbed him.
"Personal vendettas, that and some of the reasons behind them are interesting." She said. Echo's leg kicked slightly as she did so.
