Considering the status of the school at the moment, there are no luxuries unless the students bring them. So, no TV, no microwave. A closet, a night desk, a lamp, a teeny tiny refrigerator, bathroom not amazing, and a window is what each room is equipped with.
Ryan walked into the room carrying a duffel bag and some boxes. He looked around and sighed as there was no tv, but he put his stuff on his bed and began to unpack.
Alastair walked into his room with a backpack and glanced at Ryan as he put his stuff on the other bed. He looked back at Ryan and stuck out his hand. "Hello there." He said in a thick Scottish accent. "Name's Alastair."
Ryan walked over to his new room mate and grabbed his hand and shook it. "Ryan, names Ryan Day." He told him.
"Nice to meet you Ryan." He said with a smile.
He nodded. "Nice to meet you too Alastair." he told him with a smile as well.
"Well this place sure is interesting, aint it?" he asked.
"Yeah, but the rooms aren't as, filled as I thought it was going to be." Ryan said, looking around.
He nodded. "Yea I heard we had to work our way up to get better stuff, as a school. There are rankings and stuff, guess we're at the bottom." He said looking around.
"Probably, but at least we have a place to stay." Ryan said. "I just hope the shower isnt cramped." he said.
He nodded. "Yea, that's the worst thing to have out of everything." He said.
"That and being taller the the shower head is." He chuckled.
Alastair knew the feeling well. "That is always a pain in the neck, sometimes literally depending on how far you have to tilt your head to get it under the water." He said with a laugh.
"You could always kneel down or sit to get under the head." He said, laughing with him.
Alastair chuckled. "I suppose, but that's always a hassle depending on how wide the shower is."
He chuckled. "Yeah,thats a huge problem."
He laughed. " Yeah there's no getting around it, so you been around the rest of the island yet?"
He shook his head. "Not really, just some random spots and here."
"You wanna go explore there's a bunch of stuff in the city and some stuff on campus i was gonna take a look at if you wanna come with me."
Ryan nodded and grabbed a metal yo yo out his bag. "Alright, that sounds good."
