Considering the status of the school at the moment, there are no luxuries unless the students bring them. So, no TV, no microwave. A closet, a night desk, a lamp, a teeny tiny refrigerator, bathroom not amazing, and a window is what each room is equipped with.
Exie walked into her room and looked around. It wasn't anything compared to home, that was for sure. She thought as she looked around.
Andrew walked in humming a slight tune. He had explored a tad bit before walking in. He saw Exie and nodded to her. "Hello there." He began unpacking.
Exie turned red and nodded with a small wave. She was alone in a room with a boy she didn't know. She put her bag on the other bed and looked out the window then glanced at the boy.
"I'm guessing you're going to be my roommate. The name is Andrew, probably would be polite to let you know that I'm a vampire. Don't worry. I won't hurt you." He spoke as he moved his clothes from his bag to his drawers. His voice was very deep and rich.
Vampire? "I-I'm Exie." She said quietly.
"Great to meet you Exie. I hope we get along well." He smiled a toothy grin.
She nodded looking down at the floor a little with a small smile.
"Ah a shy one. You'll warm up eventually. I mean you kind of have to with how often we will be seeing each other."
She nodded a little. "sorry, I don't, talk to many people other than my siblings." She said quietly.
"It's no big deal. A lot of people are like that." He closed up his bag and moved it to the foot of his bed as he sat.
"Well when people are closed it being shy must come naturally." He didn't actually know but he said that just to ease her nerves.
She nodded. "Oh, I guess that makes sense."
"So you said siblings. How many ya got?"
"Four." She said with a small smile. "Although I only count three of them, my sister Karla is a demon."
"Oh that seems a little harsh. Why do you say that?"
"Because she's obnoxious and throws rocks at me."
"Hmm that does sound a bit mean."
She nods. "And she can talk to people."
