After escorting Naomi to her room, Austin headed over to his and went in. He began putting the groceries away, before he got the food started, deciding on making spaghetti and garlic bread for dinner, with chocolate cheesecake for desert. As he got the food started, he went into the bathroom and got himself cleaned up and changed into a suit before returning to the kitchen.
Austin smiled to himself as the food continued cooking, almost done now. He hoped it would taste as good as it smelt, as he was hoping to impress Naomi, who would be there soon hopefully.
Naomi knocked on the door, her hair was down and curled, she was wearing a knee length pink, strapless dress with an embroidered bodice. The skirt was layed and flowed as she walked. She was smiling, ready for dinner as she waited impatiently.
When Austin heard the knock, he moved to the door and opened it with a smile, gasping slightly when he saw her. "Wow. You look.. gorgeous." He said, his smile growing. He was wearing a black suit with black dress shoes, and his hair was combed neatly back. He may have also put a tiny bit of some cologne on.
Naomi looked him over. "Thank you! You look very handsome yourself." She said with a smile.
"You're welcome, and thank you." He said with a smile as he stepped back so she could come in. "Dinner will be done in about two minutes. Unfortunately we'll be eating on a plain table and dishes, but hopefully you like the food."
"Food is food, doesn't matter what you serve it on."
He chuckled a little and nodded. "You're right. Anyways, I made spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread for dinner, and cheesecake for desert. I hope that sounds good to you."
Her eyes basically turned into stars. "That sounds amazing!" She said happily.
He smiled widely. "Great! Why don't you take a seat while I get it finished." He suggested, motioning to the table as he walked back into the kitchen. "Oh, what would you like to drink?"
She took a seat. "Water's fine." She said with a smile.
He nodded as he got both of them some water, and set the glasses on the table before returning to the kitchen. After checking on the food, he dished up two plates, before setting them on the table and joining her. "Enjoy~" he said happily.
She grinned and started eating. "This is the best food I've ever eaten." She gushed.
He chuckled a little as he began eating. "I'm sure it's not that good.." he said humbly.
"Are serious, this is so amazing." She said as she kept eating.
He blushed slightly. "If you say so." He said as he continued eating.
"I do, where did you learn to cook?" She asked
"At the orphanage where I grew up, as well as a couple lessons at a school when we could afford it." He said a little quietly.
"Wow they taught you really well!"
