He grinned. "I would be glad to have her do such, so long as she doesn't leave me alone."
Naomi giggled. "See Caius not even you can scare him away."
"We'll see." He said with a bit of chuckle.
"We'll see." He said with a bit of chuckle.
He kept grinning. "So, what would you like to do right now? Dinner will take a little while to be ready to eat."
Naomi shrugged. "I don't know, since my chosen activity almost smashed your foot, maybe you should choose." She said with a chuckle and a closed eyes smile.
He chuckled a little. "True. Well, I have to get dinner started, so how about you help me with that first?"
She gave a bit of an embarrassed smile. "I'll try, but most of my cooking skills are stabbing a stick through a fish and turning it over the fire."
He smiled. "Then I guess it's my turn to teach you something." He said as he led her into the kitchen and began gathering things.
She followed and watched him. "So what are we doing exactly?"
"Shrimp fettuccine with Alfredo sauce. So we'll need to cook the fettuccine noodles, as well as the shrimp and sauce. The garlic bread will be done toward the end."
"How do we do any of that?" She asked.
"First, we start with boiling water for the noodles."
She nodded. "How do we do that?" She said with a chuckle.
He chuckled. "Fill that pot with water."
She chuckled and grabbed the pot, taking it over to the sink and filling it up with water. "Okay, now what?"
"Now we put it on the stove, put the lid on, and turn the heat on."
She nodded and set it on the stove and turned it all the way up and set a lid that was much to big on top of it. "Like that?"
He chuckled a little. "That's not the right lid, but yes."
Naomi giggled a little and grabbed the right lid. "Ooh."
"Much better, thank you."
She smiled. "Alrighty Chef Austin, what's next?"
