The car parked in front of the garage door. The house was quite nice. It was a two floor house that was enough to accommodate 4 people. It had a large living room, dinner room, kitchen, four bedrooms, three bathrooms, a large swimming pool, a kitted out basement, and a kitted out attic. The garage was enough to fit two cars. There was also a balcony that was part of the master bedroom, looking toward the swimming pool. It was located near a beach area.

"Welcome to my house" she said as she got out of her car. Two dolls with the same hairstyle, ponytail tied back with a ribbon, dressed in the same style and attire, Victorian, walked and started carrying her grocery and fabric bags. They were smiling but it wasn't creepy like. It was natural.
Lottie looked at the dolls as they came out. "They're very good, life like." She said as she looked at them. "It's a wonderful house as well."
"Thank you. They're not easy to make" she smiled. She locked the car as Lottie exited it. A doll with an apron came out, "A guest?" She asked. "Yes. Please prepare some tea" she smiled back at the Doll. The Doll headed back inside.
Lottie nodded as she looked at the dolls as they came and went. "What's your process, if I may ask?"
"Normal marionette parts. Synthetic skin. A touch of magic. Handcrafted from bottom to top. Clothes sewed personally by me" she said as she lead her to the house.
Lottie followed her nodding along. "I see, that's very interesting, I don't have synthetic skin, yet the wood I was made from feels soft as real skin, or so I've been told."
"Oh? That must be some interesting wood" she said as she lead them to a living room. Some Dolls were cleaning up the windows or the floors. Housekeeping so to say. "Sit" she said as a Doll brought a pan that contained a tea pot, two cups and saucers.
Lottie took a seat, tucking one ankle under the other in a lady like way. "Ancient magic wood of some sort, I have many different bodies made of it, and various other attachments made of the same thing."
The Doll began to pour tea for both of them, "Must be expensive then? Those ancient magical wood?"
She shook her head. "No it's my tree." She said as she picked up her cup. "Although I would pay all the money in the world for it, it's a very special tree to me. A variant of white ash said to be grown in a pool of fae and sprite tears. Hauntingly beautiful, i think so at least."
"Then it is yours to keep" she smiled as she took up her cup, "I'm fine as it is, though a special material here and there wouldn't hurt."
She nodded. "Well if you would be interested in a deal I would be willing to give you a shipment." She said as she took a sip.
"Oh thank you but I think it's fine" she said then she took a sip.
Lottie nodded. "Of course. So is there anything specific you wish to discuss?"
"Not really" she said with a giggle, "Some tea time with a new friend. Do you have anything you want to ask?"
"When did you decide you wanted to make dolls?" She asked.
"It was a hobby for my free time before I met a mentor who made these life-like dolls. Moving about...so realistic. Pretty. Artful. He taught me how to make them. How to use magic."
She nodded. "Well you're very good at it, I can tell."
She giggled, "Thank you for your flatter. You, yourself is beautiful."
