How could she forget?
Talia ran until her breath became ragged and her lungs were fit to burst, sliver hair whipping around her wildly as she raced to her destination. The student she had quite literally ran into on her way here had pointed out the office before Talia took to being on the run once again.
She was terribly late. A whole hour late in fact.
Talia had forgotten to set the time on her clock and when she had awoken on what she thought for sure was a whole hour before her meeting with the illusive Headmaster of Opal Academy, she had been more than shocked to discover she had woken up to the exact opposite.
"Just make up an excuse, Talia. You missed the bus...your cat died....You were struck with a sudden case of chicken poxs that miraculously cleared up in an hour," The frantic fateweaver stumbled with her thoughts as she rounded the corner to the office. The last one was nowhere near believable but Talia agreed it was better than nothing.
Forgetting to knock, Talia burst through the offices double doors, most likely causing a commotion.
"I-I'm here!! Forgive me for being late!" She wheezed out, panting from the exertion she put herself through. Never again did she want to be late!

She held back her gasp as she walked into the office, it was beautiful, she didn't have anything like this at home. It was so nice, this entire place was nice. "Wow."
Logan followed Raine in and looked around.
She nodded and walked towards the desk, looking over everything. She reached out and looked carefully over them before picking up the gem and holding it in her hand.
She smiled. "Cool." She said looking at the gem.
Logan looked at all the items and smiled. She reached out for the pen, but paused before grabbing it. (Assuming it's mechanical) The pen started clicking by itself, and hovered up to her hand. She smiled even more as she closed her fingers around it.
"Can I keep it?" She asked, looking down at the pen.
"So... no?" She asked confused as she looked up at the headmaster.
"Oh.. okay.." She said quietly as she set the pen down.
Logan perked up a little. "Who? When do I meet them?"
"Thank you." She gave a curtsy before leaving the office.
