"Look for disturbances in the atmosphere."
Katherine wasn't moving. Alexandra considered giving her a little more time, but she wasn't exactly feeling lenient.
She turned to Orlando.
"You heard his question... do you have any relatives, Orlando? Any that Nathaniel might know, hmm?"
She herself had never bothered to look at Orlando's family information. Why should she? As far as she knew, Orlando HAD no family. Weren't they all murdered by monsters or something?
Then again, Orlando was always full of surprises. The fact that monsters whom he had invited for breakfast were now working beside her was a surprise that had yet to fully unravel itself. Surprises indeed.
She was getting impatient, but she tried not to show it. The library was almost like a Rube Goldberg machine, a system of many interactions ready to be set off by something as insignificant as a tap, a jolt... even a marble could set off a chain of events.

Kadmoss didn't say a word or move an inch, still face to face with Gabriel. He was waiting for someone to talk him down or at least distract him.
Katherine sighed. She was hoping that the lady would allow Nathaniel to lead her, but that wasn't going to happen.
"Thank you for today." She said to Nathaniel, putting on a small smile. She then began making her way to the exit.

Katherine turned around. She was actually surprised that she was being called at all.
"Yes?"
"Yes?"
A low growl emanated from Nathaniel's throat again. He took a slow step forward. Followed by another.
"I wouldn't go that way if I was you. Theres some kind of creature, scent I don't know. Whatever it was its the thing that trampled here, and it's big. Now that I possibly saved your life could you tell his highness to consider not ending mine?"
"And what life are you so concerned about?"
"Gabriel that's enough. Put the sword down. But not away. Whatever this is, id like to get the whole buddy thing out the way and get back to being tied up in a goddamn truck."

"Thank you." He said pushing the blade away from his throat.
Perhaps Orlando's answer would have to wait.
With Kadmoss calling to the girl, a new monster nearby, and now Nathaniel moving forward... Alexandra felt things slowly sliding out of control. The rube goldberg machine was gearing up to move. She couldn't wait any longer.
Nathaniel stopped and ordered Gabriel to put down the sword. A bit of relief. Kadmoss was no longer under threat of decapitation, which was good. Easing up on the tension. She addressed Nathaniel.
"You'll be pleasantly surprised to hear that you're not going to get tied up, but we do have a nice, cozy container for you for the time being. It's out the front doors, so if you'd just follow us there, we could get you situated. You'll even be able to... chat if you so desired."
She placed a hand on her tranquilizer again. "Though, if you take another step forward before your hands are cuffed, I will be forced to shoot, so watch it."
Alexandra then turned to Katherine, her temper getting the best of her.
"And you! Are you going to go or what?! I've given you plenty of leeway to leave. I'll excuse Kadmoss calling you back over, but now that you're informed, are you going to test my patience any longer?!"
If she had any patience to begin with, maybe she could have made it farther without snapping at somebody. Unluckily for Katherine, it was her who was getting snapped at.

"S-sorry Ma'am." Her voice wavered. She never did handle being yelled at well.
This time she turned to leave for the back exit instead, hoping to find a way around the possible danger. Not that it would be any worse than what would happen if she stayed.

Kadmoss was still tense, he wanted ti reach for his weapons but if he did Gabriel would skewer him. Though he wanted to speak out he new the tension was thick, so he let Alexandra do the talking.
Well, this was interesting, but after overhearing them talk about a "new monster", he figured he better skedaddle before he gets caught up in whatever's going on inside the library. But not before he tries to talk to the girl he had seen before about what was going on. Heck, he might stick around if he gets any info about them leaving soon, so that he can get more books.
He then hurriedly makes his way through the alleyways trying to be as quiet as he can, while also trying to catch up with that girl.

Before she was out, she cautiously added, "Uh..Gabriel is it? I..highly suggest you don't turn this guy into a kabob..it's only going to make things worse for you two in the long run..just a suggestion.."
She then quickly turned towards the exit, not wanting to be yelled at again.

*whispers,* "n. no yelling in the library you two."
*Its now Wilson's personal public duty to help them quiet down. sure everyone might be in a bit of a tight situation, but those two had outright YELLED! they are actively menacing society, and must be stopped*
*He takes aim at Nathaniel, firing off 2 tranqs aimed at their neck, then snaps aim over to Alexandra, targets any exposed skin that isn't her face, and fires again*

Seeing shots being fired Kadmoss kicked out at Gabriel, hoping to put enough distance between them for him to draw his own sword. His fingers curled around the hilt on his left him, drawing it from his right hand he stepped in close for a head butt.
Nathaniel dropped to the floor as the tranqs flew closer to him. They managed to skin across his skin, nearly finding a grip. A grin was plastered on both Nathaniel's, and Gabriel's faces. "That was rude Wilson. I was even going to come quietly. Are you saying that you want to die?"
As he said this Gabriel turned to smoke, along with the sword and reappeared behind Kadmoss, sword pointed at the small of his back. "I agree. Quite rude."

Kadmoss span on his heel and battered his Sword against Gabriel's, at the same time he drew his second sword and attempted to slash Gabriel across the belly with it.
The sword just passed through him. "That won't work... But this will." He jammed the sword into Kadkoss's shoulder. Disabling motor control throughout that arm.
