"Well done, Devin. Thank you for tipping me off. Dismissed."
Alexandra released the button on her earpiece. Her brown hair once again fell down to cover her ear as her hand moved back towards her gun.
She would not have another escapee incident. Not after the werewolf and elsen had gotten out earlier. Her reputation was at stake with the high-end officials. If anything else got out, she'd be anything but a commander. For the time being though, she was in charge. She wasn't about to let that escape from her.
A slight grin spread across her face as the sleeping head was brought before her. Excellent. The plan had worked out perfectly. Precise, entangling. She admired just for a second the trap she had constructed and the results it had.
She shook it off. Business to attend to.
A guard spoke up. "Alexandra, should we terminate this one? We're in the position to do so, and judging by what we were able to pull up on it we-"
Alexandra raised up a hand to silence the speaker. "Now now, Clyde... Patience. We're not going to kill it off, I can see it being some use to us in the future, however minimal.
But we're also not going to brainwash it. Something like that is far too unpredictable. Are you getting my drift, Clyde?"
There was a brief moment of silence between the two. Alexandra's gaze pierced through Clyde, becoming more an more impatient with every passing second.
"Purgatory, Clyde. Put it in holding Cell P." She ordered sharply. "NOW."
Clyde jumped backwards just a bit at this sudden outburst. Almost immediately, he and four other guards carried KopyCat to Cell P. Cell P being the most recent and most fail safe container built in the entire facility. Had Alexandra not ordered it's construction, there would probably be a big glass box there instead. Solid reinforced steel would soon be the boundary between the monster and the outside. Only one way in, one way out.
As she watched Clyde take the creep away, she reminded herself as to why she had taken up this position.
Monsters are dangerous. Monsters are freakish. They pose a threat to normal humans.
She hated them so.
They had no place in this world...
...HER world.
She made extra sure to step on a spider that had unwittingly crawled from some hidden crevice on her way to the elevator. Word had it that the elsen had returned.
Alexandra did not want to miss a single second.

The gas had slowly started to wear off, but not enough. KopyCat's eyes drifted open and shut, it's vision still hazy from the effects of the sleeping gas.
It was being carried. Where to? It didn't know.
It heard a voice. Strong, Bold... Angry?
It tried to look up at whoever was speaking.
Blurred shapes. A woman. Who?
Movement. It was being moved again.
Darkness. Very dark. Cold.
It drifted back to sleep, but not before a question crossed it's mind.
"Exactly how many arms did she have?"
