Kadmoss looked Orlando in the eyes, then blinked. When he reopened them the whites had turned black, the iris had turned Crimson and then pupils had become slits. Demon eyes. For a single heartbeat they were like this, but almost immediate Kadmoss blinked again and his eyes were normal. Unless you happened to be looking at his eyes, which he made sure no one but Orlando was, you would have missed it. "I can tell you what you want to know about Gabriel, or the legend of him anyway."
Orlando choked on a piece of bread. Coughing and sputtering, he looked around to see if anyone else had witnessed what he had just seen. "You mean to say, this Gabriel is the same kind of creature as you?!"
"Probably, though not certainly. Before you even think about experimenting on me to find his weakness know my powers are gone, so there's no point. Gabriel was our King, no one knows how long for. He ruled over both the populace and the strong bloodlines, he was the one who threw my family from royalty."
"You still seem to have inhuman strength." Orlando commented. "Why was your family removed from the royalty? What's the difference in your mind from royalty and just the normal monsters?"
"What's the difference in your mind between royalty and normal humans? As for why we were removed?" Kadmoss shrugged. "Only the strongest are fit to rule."
"Why are you here then? In this world? And how did you know I was an agent?" Orlando asked.
"i was banished, put plainly I was banished. I was stripped of almost all my powers now all I have is my strength, you say it's inhuman but it's a fraction of my true power. I am a shadow of my former self, I'm more human then archdemon I was born as."
"Your whole family was banished on account of the no longer royalty thing or just you?" Orlando asked, waving his fork. He calmed down knowing that the kid wasn't going to kill him with laser beams coming from his eyes or something. He glanced over at Wilson to make sure he was alright.
"No. My family weren't banished, only I was. Though admittedly my twin should have been executed long ago, anyway. I was exiled because I committed a crime which the noble bloodlines found unforgivable."
"What was that?" Orlando asked.
Kadmoss signed, his voice heavy with sadness. "I tried to strike a peace with humans, as a member of a noble bloodline I had the power to open a portal to allowed some fifty of your people into hell. It didn't take long for them to start butchering the woman and children, your organisation focuses on them you see. Since demon males are stronger it's easy to drive us to extinction by stopping us breeding, no females mean no children. They killed over three hundred woman and children before they were stopped, since the we were completely unprepared for the attack. Oh they had enough time for sport mind you, torture and other unspeakable acts were inflicted apon the innocents. After that, I had my tentacles ripped from my body and as much power as they could from me. They said that since I loved humans so much I could join them in the surface, that was two centuries ago." Kadmoss went silent for a second and closed his eyes, a single tear running down his face.
Alexandra's train of thought had been interrupted by this strange conversation multiple times. The camera microphones weren't of the best quality, and Kadmoss was speaking in a lowered tone... but she did get more information than she had asked for, and probably more information than she would have gotten by torturing Kadmoss.
Some sort of demon stripped of it's power? Banishment?
This was a beyond interesting find, coming straight from the mouth of the captive, no less. Amazing how Orlando of all people was able to coerce this thing to talk.
An idea. A strange, almost unthinkable idea. Something so unnatural to think of that it just might work. Jotting down a few notes on a piece of paper, Alexandra quickly exited her office and headed back up the stairs towards the employee cafeteria.

The stairs echoed as Alexandra approached the door. Her face had a slight and unusual grin on it as she entered the cafeteria, but it vanished when she eyed the guests currently eating and talking.
"So. Have we all had enough to eat? Feeling better now? Not trying to kill one another anymore?" She asked, emphasizing her last question.

Kadmoss looked to Orlando, unsure of how to respond.
"I still want to kill you..." Orlando muttered at Alexandra as he stabbed his last piece of food with his fork and looked up to glare at her. "I warned you the place was bugged." He told the demon kid, shaking his head.
Kadmoss shrugged. "I doubt it I was going to walk away anyway, as for killing me you should have taken it when you had the chance." Having regained his composure he turned to Alexandria. "I'll need my bike and decent weaponary, as for food I can go a solid month before side effects. Though If you have any corpses lying around bring one to me, the stronger they were in life the better. If these conditions are not met I cannot assist my... Partner, efficiently. I suggest one of the guards killed by nathaniel, that way I'll have his scent."
"I know you'll think this is simply rich coming from me, Orlando... But I'm actually somewhat IMPRESSED with how long you and our supernatural friend have managed to hold out in a conversation. That being said, you two probably could have found other things to talk about."
Alexandra chuckled for a second or two, then added: "Not like I minded hearing what was said. Your new friend here has a lot of dirt on himself." The smug grin returned to her face.
She turned to Kadmoss. "And of course, anything to help you be as effective as possible. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you still had some form of mind-reading, because I was actually going to get into more detail about that."
Making sure that she had everyone's attention, Alexandra addressed the group. "I'm willing to make... an offer to you all. I've been observing you three ever since you came back here, and I have to say that you all have piqued my interest."
Returning Orlando's glare, she continued. "Orlando here has managed to become acquainted with you two monsters. A genuine... 'bond' of sorts."
A pause. Alexandra thought through what she was about to say very carefully. Her face twisted up a bit. She hated the idea, but it had potential.
"Because "Nathaniel" and "Gabriel" are still out there and thwarted our regular forces on the night of the escape... I'd like to send you three out as a team to retrieve them. In exchange for doing so, we will not perform extreme tests or torture on you two newcomers."
Fighting fire with fire. Alexandra couldn't believe she was recruiting monsters to help. She mentally criticized herself for just going against everything she had stood for, but this was a strange situation that required a strange solution. She was willing to make an exception this once.

*seeing that someone had come to talk at the other table, Wilson calls out after swallowing his mouthful of steak* "are we talking about anything important?"
"I'll think about it, I might not be much of a demon but Gabriel is still the king. Or at least I think he is, perhaps I'll have to commune with another demon."
"No, not...not you, kid..." Orlando said burying his face in his hands. He raised a hand to motion at Alexandra. "She's the real b*tch here."
He noticed she neglected to state what would happen to him if he agreed to work with the monsters. It was part of his conditioning but the idea of working with them made him feel sick. It felt a little better that he was controlling one of them even if it was just through mental manipulation, but it still made him feel disgusted.

"Firstly I have a name, it happens to be Kadmoss. Secondly stop calling me kid, im almost two thousands years old."
