WADB

The courtyard is the space between the three main campus buildings. It has paved paths between each building and to a central square area, cobblestone with a fountain in the center. There are benches around the outside of the square.

A tall man stands up on the podium, lightly tapping on the microphone attached there to confirm it is on. "Hello everyone. I would like to give you a warm welcome to Woodside Academy for the Differently Bodied. My name is Johnathan Skyranger. I am the principal of the academy, as well as one of your instructors. You are the first freshman class to the school. In founding the academy, myself and Yukimura Tsuka wanted to create a safe and welcoming environment for shapshifters of all species." John paused for a moment, allowing his words to sink in.
"We have a busy day ahead of us. You will be separated into four separate groups by your species. Aves will be going with me, while beasts will be going with Tsuka. Half of you will be given time to move into the dorms now while the other half will be split again. I will be giving a small lecture of what to expect in the coming school year and a small tour, while Tsuka can get you signed in and the materials you need. You can find your schedule enclosed in your envelope you received with your acceptance letter. If for some reason you do not have your letter or misplaced your shedule, please come see Tsuka." He motioned to a smaller man that stood just off to the side of the stage. A1 group will be coming with me, B1 group is with Tsuka, and A2 and B2 will be able to move into their dorms once this presentation is finished. It is now 8 am. The groups switch on the hour and you have two hours to move in and get comfortable so expect to be done around noon at which point you may head to the cafeteria for lunch. Are there any questions?" Skyranger asked.

Donovan watched the speech in the middle of the crowd. He really didn't have a question, so he remained silent, looking around the crowd of people to see if anyone had a question.

Nura, nervously avoiding any contact, scrunched her face as she felt a headache coming on. Being no stranger to headaches she attempted to ignore it and continued to listen to the principle. Nura was excited, and relieved, to be attending this school. Hopeful that she may be able to control her hearing, she remember the limited training she had accomplished earlier and focused all her attention to the principle.

Husk looked down at his feet, he didn't have any questions right now. This was certainly a new experience for him. He had never attended a school where everyone else was like him.

Posey stood at the edge of the courtyard awkwardly, listening to the speech with curiosity mixed with anxiety. In her hand she clutched the letter she had gotten. Everything felt surreal and she still hadn't fully grasped that she was here, at a school, in which all people could change into animals.

Iris silently stood in the back of the small crowd. Honestly, she was pretty nervous, this was her first time in a school with people like her. People with similar problems. Iris hoped that the training she received here would give her the opportunity to get to know new people. Iris gazed at all the students here and began judging them. It was something she did unconsciously and even though Iris wasn't proud, seeing herself do that, she did it anyway. It gave Iris a sense of reassurance to have some idea of what to anticipate from her fellow classmates.

Nairn fiddled around with an old coin, near the edge of the crowd, silently chuckling at the idea that all of these people had an other body. He looked closer at the coin, as he had countless times before, and again wondered if it was such a good idea to stop his "treasure hunt" for a school. But then he noticed all the interesting people in the crowd. This could get even better than his search!

A large black wolf paced through the audience. Finn Datura really didn't want to be here, but of course mother thought all the world of the vice principal having worked with him at another school, so she packed some things for him, stuck him on a train, and here he was. His nose started wandering places where it certainly didn't belong, people's shoes, legs, sticking his nose up a girl's shirt. She was rather cute, with brown hair, even if her face was slightly marred by a scar. Her face was concentrated on listening to the speaker--oops wet puppy nose. Hopefully she wouldn't notice...

It was amazing being around all these new people! Living with his mother alone in the deep forest, he hardly ever associated with people. The scents were a little overwhelming, so many new, delicious things. Females...

Charna huffed her spiked hair out of her face. She had no questions but she didnt want to be here. She wanted to turn and lay down but she couldnt. Too many people. Her piercing, red, cat eyes closed in boredom. She had her uniform on and she hated it. Skirt was too short for her. She stayed a little out of the crowd, not liking people behind her.

She brushed her long black hair away, taping her foot. There was a large wolf bite on her left upper leg but she wasn,t a werewolf.

She couldn't wait to leave.

He cleared his throat with a slight amount of discomfort. "Moving on then. If you are with the A1 group, or the B1 group please stick around for the next part of the day, while the A2 and B2 groups can go ahead and get moved in. Number 2 groups, please return here by 10 am. A, you're with me, B you're with Tsuka."
Skyranger stepped off the podium with a nod to the crowd. As he walked off, Yukimura Tsuka who was to lead the other group hurriedly whispered a few words to him, causing him to get back up on the podium.

"It seems like we've neglected to inform you of what groups you will be in, that's my fault." If he could be any more humiliated, one could not tell.

"Now then, please come to either of us if you have any questions, we are going to get started on the next part of the day." John stepped off the podium for real this time, nodding at Tsuka in gratitude before stepping a little distance away to gather his group.

Nora had only just managed to hear what group she was in and proceed to navigate herself around the crowd and headed towards Tsuka where she would meet the rest of her group. Turning down her music slightly, so not to appear rude, she continued to have one headphone locked in her ear and she found herself facing Tsuka

Husk made his way over to where his group would be gathering.

Donovan listened to him, chuckling a bit when he was reminded of the groups. He then looked around at everyone and theb started to make his way to where his group was going to be.

Tsuka went back to standing quietly off to the side, waiting for his group of students to gather to him. They sure were a timid bunch. He did recognize one of them, though, that bothersome kid of the nurse at the school he used to work at.

"It would be preferred that the students were in human form," he said, loud enough for Finn to hear, but not seem like he was making an announcement. He gave a nod of acknowledgement to the first student to walk over to him and a more relaxed, "What might your name be?"

Hearing the question from Tsuka, Nora stuttered and looked towards her 'guide'.
"Nura..." she began, "Nura Grey."

Finn made his way over to where his group gathered, lolling his tongue out. He got to be with Tsuka, he realized excitedly. Tsuka prefered he walk on two legs huh? Well that was ok, but he didn't really feel up for it. Finn happily rubbed up against their short guide like a large cat, managing to use his hip as a scratching post for his own wolf shoulder. He grinning happily up at Tsuka with a silly pup smile.

Markal stood with his hands in his pockets, a lazy grin on his face as he listened to the principal's speech. His eyes were on the people around him, though. They all looked tense, anxious, or curious like him. His fingers twitched in his pocket. A pick pocket's hands, his sister called them. He doubted it would be a good start at this new school to steal from anyone, though.

When the groups were announced, Markal found Tsuka and started making his way over to the quickly forming group.

"It's nice to meet you, Nura," Tsuka replied with a smile. Feeling something using him as a scratching post, he looked down to find Finn already goofing around.

"Finn," he insisted. He nodded at Markal, it seemed like half his group was already here.

Seeing the boy named... what was it... Finn? Scratch at Tsuka caused Nurse to laugh a little.
Turning to see another boy arrive she gave him a small smile which was her way of saying hello.
