Nairn backed up Donovan from where he stood, ahead of the group, pacing around. "Husk, it's not polite to keep people waiting, especially when they've been so generous with their puns!" He said in a mock scolding tone, adding the necessary dose of humour.
Husk smiled and walked up and joined the group. Husk put his hands in his pockets
Nairn was just in sight of the rest of the group, already on the edge of the courtyard in the middle of the school buildings. "Hey John! Which building is the office in?" He shouted from where he was. He wasn't even sure John was able to hear him.
Donovan looked over and Husk and chuckled before looking at Posey, smiling at her.
"Over here!" John called back to him with a wave. He had followed the students back, trailing slightly behind them, deep in thought as he observed their behavior. A wee bit rambunctious, then again they were all animals. John sliently joked with himself. "It was where we were earlier, remember? Follow me..." John said leading the way to the front office, turning every so often to look over his shoulder to make sure everyone was still with the group.
Donovan then thought of something. "Oh, about our dorms? Are we sharing or are we getting our own?"
Posey smiled rather brightly back at Donovan, then at everyone else in the group. She walked rapidly, jumping sometimes to keep up with the group.
"The dorms are double rooms, you will share it with someone else. The floors are coed, however the rooms are not. You will be sharing a bathroom with the other students." John explained.
Nairn practically had a laughing fit over this. In between gasps and laughs, he managed: "Ahhhahhahaha... Animals... Animals sharing bathrooms... Hahahahahah... Ohhhh... That's just too funny. Too too funny... Oh, I cannot wait for morning hygiene... Hahahah... Ohh my ancestors are probably turning this very second... Heheheheh..."
Donovan slowed down a bit so that Posey would at least keep up with him. He looked over at her, smiling at her.
Posey looked up at Donovan. "Why did you slow down?" She asked quietly.
"Because, I saw you were having trouble keeping up, so I slowed down so you'd at least catch up with someone." Donovan replied.
"Oh... thank you so much..." It was so strange to have someone care about you. It was very different, but it felt nice. Posey started walking faster, a smile on her face as she happily continued with the rest of the group towards the office.
"No problem." Donovan said. He looked at her then looked up at the rest of their group.
