{George} [8<]X ... [8>]X *the limited sense of things that the Golem's core gives it seems to identify the bowtie as a very nice thing. George is as happy as could possibly be defined for a non-sentient, non-animalistic, entity that lacks actual proper emotions*

*after Lunch eatting and belt making, George would follow you outside as instructed*

{Dell} *Dell is ready by a worktable he has prepared. 6 objects lie on it*
*Lever. Wheel and axle. Pulley. Inclined plane. Wedge. Screw.*
"These here are commonly refered to as the 6 simple machines But, we can simplify it further."
*He sets the Inclined plane in front of the Wedge and the Screw. Then, he places the Lever in front of the wheel/axle and Pulley*
"A wedge is just 2 Inclined planes beside eachother, and a screw is just an inclined plane rotated around itself."
"And a wheel/axle is just a fully formed variation of the lever, the pulley simply permitting force to be applied over an extended distance."
"Between Inclined planes, and Levers, Translocation and Rotation are both covered. and any mundane object existing within simple Space can be made to exist wherever you'd want through simply moving and rotating it."
"this make sense so far?"

Esmeralda listens carefully as Dell explained everything.
"Surprisingly yes. How you demonstrated as you talked was great. What are going to do with them?" She asked with a smile.
{Dell} "I'm going to make sure you keep them in mind."
"Now, a 'perfect' Lever and a 'perfect' inclined plane, are able to impart and alter force without being changed themselves. But, such a thing doesn't properly exist."
"every action has an equal and opposite reaction. an inclined plane is pushed sideways just as much as an object is moved up, and everything can hold leverage over eachother."
"Say for example, we Break a stick." *he grabs the long part of the lever, and holds on to the ends. a quick motion bringing it down over his knee, and the lever stick snaps*
"I used leverage to break the lever. I used enough force, applied at the proper location. but, if the lever had been stronger than my arms and knee, then If I was able to put enough force behind things, it'd be me that'd snap first."
"which is why spreading out the forces behind any working load is important. anything you build has to be able to withstand whatever forces you expect it to be exposed to."
"If you're ready, we can get to our first project. we're gunna build a simple chair. sound like fun?"
"Sure does and very practical.. I am ready to build one. " Esmeralda spoke quickly.
"What kind of wood are we going to use?"
{Dell} "Wood? well, if you want to start with wood, I'll be sure to help. But usually we start with, cardboard. easier to cut n' fold. that good for ya? Also, it'll be only cardboard. no glue or tape. you'll need to figure out a thing or two about self-interlocking structures."
"Oh? I didn't think of cardboard. Self-interlocking structures sound intriguing. So yes, let's start with interlocking structures. What are we going to make out of cardboard that could be useful?" Esmeralda asked as she took out her note pad to make a couple notes.
{Dell} "I already said. We're making a chair. First step, plannin."
*opening a drawer on the table with the other simple machines, Dell removes paper and pen* "If you're short on ideas, we can look closer at other examples. even if you can only copy what someone else has made, that's ok because you can feel pretty sure that it's done somethin right."
"I'm sorry, Dell...... I just can't imagine a cardboard chair being used. You will have to tell me how the cardboard chair can hold me up...." Esmeralda spoke in a very confused voice.
"I'll do what you say how ever and just hope that it will turn out as good as yours. Now how do we draw up plans?"
{Dell} "well now, that's one of the most common mistakes. lacking an understanding of the material you're workin with. Cardboard is much more resistant to pressure forces along the grain than most people think. course, it's certainly not a long term thing, but it's an important starting point. Now, we start with a preliminary sketch. multiple triangular columns, or excessive cross-hatching tend to work best." *after drawing a quick bunch of triangular 🜂🜂🜂 prisims, and a bunch of lines that all ### cross over eachother, the paper and pen are yours to use*
Esmeralda looked at what Dell was drawing and did her best to copy the design exactly. She double check as she went along for she did not want to make a mistake of some sort. She also was going to keep the drawing for future reference.

"I think that I copied your designed right........ Please double check my work." she asked as she paused in her work.
{Dell} "Well... anyone can just copy lines. But I'm sure that it'll become easier to understand the meanin behind them when you get to the part where you use them. Copy me as I cut some cardboard if you'd like. I'll be using the cross-hatching." *Dell is leading the way inside the workshop, which has plenty of tools availible for both paper products and wood products* *several different types of cardboard are available*
*taking a few smaller rectangles of cardboard, Dell starts cutting vertical slits that reach from the top, to the middle of each piece, all spaced 2 inches apart*
Esmeralda watched for a few minutes then she began measuring and cutting her triangles. She was sure that they were the correct size sine Dell took his from the same pile. Her thoughts were that one one day she would be doing it all by herself so she needed to do all of the steps herself as if she was doing it all by herself.

Soon she was humming a simple tune as she worked.
{Dell} *nodding,* "good work. also, always make sure you've got everything measured just right. an early error can ruin everything else that builds upon it."
"Once we're done with the cuttin' and slotting of cardboard to the point of proficiency, we can take a gander at seeing if maybe you can earn permissions to use the Zero-point intangintersector. A tool that, while aided by magic, I'd say is moreso an incredible feat of scientific engineering."
Esmeralda beamed with pride when Dell spoke to her.

"It's like not having enough ingredient for a recipe. The food won't come out right if you don't have the right amount of ingredients.
What is a Zero-point intangintersector and what does it do? It does have a cool sounding name." she spoke as she placed the last piece on the pile.
{Dell} *Dell enters a brief bout of jovial laughter* "Woo-wee! Not everyone manages to pronounce it right first try. The Zero-point intangintersector is a tool that can make objects self-intersect. It also is capable of fine-tuned manipulation of objects while they are made intangible to most forms of matter. it can cut out a lot of time otherwise spent cutting. But it can be a very dangerous tool in the wrong hands, so there's a good number of safety tests to make sure someone is able to use it. learning how to use an ordinary Zero-point device first is a must."
"but, even before that, we've gotta get these chairs finished up."
Esmeralda smiled as she spoke.
"Let's get these chairs finished then. I want to try mine out to see if it is strong enough to hold me up.. I hope so.
What do we do now that we have these pieces cut and slotted?"
{Dell} "now we just gotta piece them together. Put slot over slot, push it in, and there you have it. two pieces of cardboard intersecting at a similar 'y' value. Y, able to be interchanged with other orientations if needed."

*Dell is working quick to slip all of his cardboard together, making a reasonably stable tall meshing*
Esmeralda began to piece hers together after watching Dell. She was no where as quick as he was but she was careful with putting the pieces together. It seemed to be kinda strong yet she was not yet sure about sitting on it.
{Dell} "woo! great job."
*sits in his own chair, being careful to only apply force downward*
"ifin' you're not wantin to try it out yourself, you've got a little guy to try for ya."
*indicating your Golem*
"I think that I'll take your advice and have George sit on it." she spoke as she walked around her new chair, examining it carefully.
"George, please come and sit on this chair for me. I want t see how it holds up when you sit on it."
