{George} [8>] ... *after a moment of trying to figure out how best to approach the situation, George tries to carefully and evenly climb up and sit*
...
*it's clear that any force applied sideways would really wreak the stability of the cardboard, but its more than enough to handle downward forces*
[8>] ... *George has to sit really still, but it works!*
{Dell} "great work! now, if we built in some angular supports to handle force from the side, it'd be easy to sit in. But, unless you'd like to do more with cardboard, I'd say we should probably move on to miniature wood bridging."

Esmeralda checked the chair carefully as George sits down.
"Yeah a bit more support for the sides and it would work for a short time but not a permanent kind of furniture. Thank you, George. You did well.
I am ready to move on to something more permanent." she spoke as she made a couple more notes.

{George} [8>] *happy to help*
{Dell} "alrighty then." *Dell heads for a cabinet with a number of pre-cut pieces of wood, taking a select few out* "These'll make a chair, if you put them together right. We've gotta screwdriver that'll help. Make sure to secure any spot where two independent pieces of wood end up touching. It'd be great if you could work out how they need to fit together yourself, but if needed, I've got the instructions ready."

"Sure thing, Dell. I'll start out separating the different pieces...." Esmeralda spoke as she place four pieces and places in a pile then continued on until she had all the pieces sorted.
She looked at the pieces and put the curved back top in one hand then press the center insert in the slot then the two side pieces in....before long she had the chair together with a slight problems with the screws until she had George help her by holding the pieces together as she screwed the pieces to together.
She placed the chair on floor for inspection. It sat level, didn't wobble and seemed sturdy.
"Ok, George try this chair out so I can see if there needs to be any adjustments......" she spoke quietly.

{George} [8>] *much more quickly hops up to sit upon the more stable seat*
{Dell} "Great work! using the resources at your disposal. In fact, we could give this chair a sand, treat, n' polish, and it'd be right near professional. Though, we'll probably save that kinda fanfare for when you design and cut and piece together the wood for a chair yourself."

"I am glad that you think that it would be nearly professional." Esmeralda spoke happily.
"Thank you George for being such a great help to me.
Ok, Dell, what are we going to do next? The only thing that I have is an overnight camping with Haily later tonight."

{George} [8>] *happy*
{Dell} "well... we've done learnin for now. we can fit in a quick 'more fun' lesson on tool handling. a weak powered Zero-point tool. It'll only handle a load of 5 pounds, but it's a great introduction to the tool type." *Dell spends a brief moment focusing on... something. then, out of thin air, a tool about the size of an electric drill appears in his hand* *the tool has three prongs sticking out of the operative end of the device, surrounding a lens of some sort. looks like it was made to be easy to handle with two hands*
"here we are. this device can hold objects infront of it, without any notable force difference in what it takes to move the tool. go ahead, and hold the tool. move it around some. then, power it up and pick up a piece of scrap wood, or maybe even the cardboard chair. note that the tool doesn't feel burdened, and that you can move it around same as if it was empty. with the exception of people being able to apply leverage against it. I bet you can guess why a tool like this requires special training." *the tool is available for you to try*

Esmeralda took the tool and held it.
"It is light. I can easily handle this tool. Does it have a name besides device?" she asked as she went to pick up a piece of wood with the tool. Then sat it down to pick up the chair which was just as easy even though it was heavier.
"Oh wow! This is so cool. How much can it lift? And where will it be stored? Can I use it when ever I want to?" she asked happily.

{Dell} "It's called a Zero-point. though some like to call it a, gravity gank. Different strengths of Zero-point can lift different amounts without failing. And until we've gone through the official safety testing procedure, Zero-points are NOT available for free use. It's easy to hurt yourself with the heavier duty versions if you don't know what you're doing." *with you having tested the weak Zero-point, Dell holds his hand out for you to return it*
"I do hope to be able to use it again one day, Dell. It is a great tool to have. Thanks for trusting me with it." Esmeralda spoke as she sadly handed the Zero Point back to Dell.
"I suppose I should head to Haily's to do the camping bit with her. I do appreciate your help. I'll be back tomorrow if all things go well.
George, are you ready to go?"

{George} [8>] *ready as always*
{Dell} "Be seein you then. And good luck with the camping. might be a good idea to pack a snack. I'll handle cleaning up for today." *starts cleaning up things like the cardboard scraps that ended up lieing about*

"Thanks so much for cleaning up, Dell. I forgot all about that in my excitement of the Zero Point tool." Esmeralda spoke as she waved bye.
She hurried to her home to gather some things including some snacks before leaving for Haily's place.
