{Hailey} "First time is a real easy place. We've got a nice Flat rock set up over there for ease of Earth Use. It's just about a 30 minute hike down the Volcano, then about 20 more minutes to get to the camping spot. If you are on foot. If you've got better transport," *a quick stance, and she has gotten the ground beneath her feet to shift, small mounds of crushed rock that are ready to do the moving for her to be seen* "then the trip can go by much quicker. But, Earth Sledding can be difficult to do first time. And Water will feel wet the whole time, even if you can siphon it all off after you've gotten where you need to go."

*Very Likely to be Much Harder. But, at least it all seems to be Very Practical stuff that you're learning*
Esmeralda looked Haily in complete disbelief before speaking.

"Earth Sledding sounds dangerous and Water Sledding.... well if you can't swim and you slip and fall, you might drown.....right? To me, both sound too dangerous to do."
{Hailey} "There shouldn't be any danger of drowning if you control things properly. Air and Fire have possible transport means as well, but Unless Air Flight ends up coming naturally to someone, it's usually a more difficult process to learn than Water or Earth. Also, I'm sure you can guess the potential hazards involved in Fire-based Flight."
"Well, transport can be better learned another Time. Lets get walking so we can have enough time to set up Camp." *with that, she starts the hike down the volcano, ready to continue talking*
"I hope to be able to learn to control various kinds of magic. That is why I am taking all the classes that I can.
What are we going to do after setting up camp? Anything that is interesting along the magical line?" Esmeralda asked as she followed.
{George} [8>] *following along*

{Hailey} "well, setting up camp itself will involve some Earth magic. And, you get the chance to start a Fire. Catching fish might be tricky though with your low water affinity. But, Practice makes better, and even if you can only control a bit of it, you can learn to control it very proficiently. Also, I've got a miniature Elemental Attractor we can take a closer look at. It's a relatively simple device, and one that is capable of taking plenty of modification and adjustment. A good introductory piece to Elemental Constructs."
"Wow! It sounds like we will have a lot of fun, Haily. I do like learning new things. Dell let me use a tool today. A Zero-point tool. One day i'd like to own one myself. I am working on making my house better then I will move it to a permanent spot or just make a new one somewhere. I'll decide later what I want to do." Esmeralda spoke happily.
{Hailey} "oh yea, Zero-point tools. those can be useful, and they work better than their Elemental construct equivalent. And I hope that work on your home goes well. Let me know if you'd ever like a little help."
"It was fun. I'd like to make a nice workshop close to my home as well. Are there always an equivalent of one type or another in all the tools for each branch of magic or are most of tools different?" Esmeralda asked.
{Hailey} "Every branch of magic is bound to have one tool or another that just so happens to achieve the same practical result. there's probably a thousand different ways to start a campfire."

*further ahead, it looks like there is not much to interrupt the ground in the forest. only a few cases of tangling thorns, shorter trees, and underbrush. the perfect kind of hiking forest*
"A thousand ways to start a simple campfire? Why so many ways? A person only needs to know 4 maybe 5 ways.... " she spoke in surprise, taking her attention away from the natural beauty of land surrounding her.
"Is there always more ways to do something than what it necessary? Or is it because there are so many types magic and not everyone can do all of the different kinds of magic?"
{Hailey} "well, everyone is always going to think of something in a different way. and out of those thousand ways to start a campfire, everyone might have a different 4 or 5 that they know. We're all able to do it, even if we all work in different ways. I'd say that there's always multiple ways to do nearly everything. you just need to know how to look at a problem when you come across one."
Esmeralda listened intently and learned that there was many more ways than she ever dreamed of to do things. Haily was right that everyone had their own ways of ding things. Something that she simply took for granted.

"Thanks for enlightening me, Haily. I will need to keep my eyes open and my mind as well." she spoke slowly.
{Hailey} "Hey, no problem. Helping you to understand things is a part of our job. It's no good just teaching you how to do something if we don't also teach you where and when is a good place to use it."

*down the volcano, and into the woods. about almost half-way there*
Esmeralda smiled as she walked and sometimes glanced back at George to make sure he was walking along unhurt.

As the volcano gave way to some trees, she was glad to be getting closer to the camp. She was quiet and getting a bit tired.
{Hailey} "Anything else you'd like to talk about before we get there?"

{George} [8>] *George is doing well*
Esmeralda thought for a bit then spoke

"I can't think of anything at the moment...... I guess I don't know enough to talk about any particular kind of magic."
{Hailey} "alright. we can focus on walking then. we'll have plenty to go over when we reach the Slab."

*after continuing on a while longer, a clearing can be seen ahead. A low plateau of rock, smooth from weathering and Elemental flattening, near a bend in the River. the only markings on the rock is a small-ish circle in the center, marked as the location for a safe campfire*

"Here we are. We can begin to set up camp now."

{George} [8>] *George doesn't get tired, so the walk was easy for them*
Esmeralda smiled at George who kept up quite well.

"You are doing well, George. I am glad that you can keep up with us on the walk." Esmeralda spoke.

She looked about and saw that the camping site was beautiful.
"What do I do first? It looks so perfect here that I hate to do anything to the site."
{Hailey} "Well, of course we will be sure to clean up after ourselves. Dell should have told you a bit about Leverage. If you keep Leverage in mind, then you can make more physically stable Earth structures. you can expend more energy to set up a self-sustaining spell, almost like how you were able to create fire with minimal fuel. this will let you build earth structures that would otherwise fall over. But, if you make something stable both elementally and physically, it does wonders for the durability. try and make a stone structure."

{George} [8>] *happy*
"Yes, Dell did tell me about leverage. I made a cardboard chair today. I also made wooden chair too. So I do know a bit about leverage.
What kind of a earth structure am I going to make? A tent? That would be useful."

Esmeralda made a bunch of blocks. She made a square of blocks with 1 gap for a door.. She put the second layer on top but they were place like so:

Once she had the walls finished she stepped back. It was not very high and no windows. She would have to crawl into it but it would worked.
