Esmeralda smiles at George then speaks.
"I'm gonna get my notebook and I'll be back."
She hurried off to her tent and came back rather quickly.
"OK now. I'll try to remember everything about making Earth Shelters.....
I don't need to make a normal permanent building if it is a camping trip. A simple igloo style home will suffice.
To make an igloo, I pull up the ground in a circle and harden the earth as I go. I need to leave a hole to let smoke out and to add a tunnel to it." Esmeralda spoke as she wrote her notes down in the notebook.

{Hailey} *gulps down her bite of Fish* "you'll only need a hole at the top if you plan on having a fire inside, but other than that, you seem to have the basics all down. Great job! you can say that you know how to make shelter & find food in the forest near a river." *resumes eating her serving of fish. your own serving awaits*
Esmeralda smiles as she picks up her fish and began to eat it.
"The fish is better than what I thought it would be. I am glad that I remember it all. What else are we gonna do tonight? Will you show me where some deposits are? "

{Hailey} "Crystal deposits? Well, they're usually only in areas of highly concentrated elemental aura. And figuring out where the Aura is high is much easier than just hoping to find crystals lieing about. Usually around 'nodes'. We can cover how to find nodes in the morning."
"and unless there are any questions in particular that you'd like to be answered right now, it might be getting to be time to start thinking of headed to sleep"
"and unless there are any questions in particular that you'd like to be answered right now, it might be getting to be time to start thinking of headed to sleep"
"Very well then. I don't have any questions so let's head to bed. George, let's go inside my tent for the night, please.
Good night, Hailey.' Esmeralda stood up and stretched.

{Hailey} "good night."
*Hailey puts out the remaining embers of the fire, & heads to her own 'tent'. George follows you into yours*
*it's rather quiet inside the stone dome. it shouldn't be to hard to fall asleep*

Esmeralda slid into the bed roll and got comfortable.
"Good night George......"
Soon an exhausted Esmeralda was asleep.

... *Hailey would work to help wake you the next morning by safely deconstructing your 'tent' from around you, smoothing it back into the Slab*
*you are now in the open air, with Sunlight peering through the trees at your face*
[8>] ? *George is surprised by the 'tent' no longer being around*

"Hmmmm..... obviously it is time to get up, right?" Esmeralda sat up and rubbed her eyes.
"You ok, George?"
Esmeralda got up and rolled her bedroll up and put back on the back pack. She made sure that she had a small notebook in her large pocket and her larger notebook in the back pack.
"I guess I am ready for anything......."

{Hailey} "Well good, because today we are covering Nodes. We'll need to clean up from camp, and hike back to the Crater atop the mountain." *Hailey cleans her own tent, flattening it back into the Slab* *not to much is left to clean*
{George} [8>] *George is doing well. they nod an ok*
{George} [8>] *George is doing well. they nod an ok*
Esmeralda began by getting her belongings out of the rubble before she finished flattening the ground. She looks about to see if everything was taken care of.
*everything is looking to be all sorted out*
{Hailey} "Let's go. Breakfast is waiting for us up there to." *Hailey starts Hiking*

"Come George. We will follow Hailey to breakfast. Are you doing ok?" Esmeralda asked as she started to follow.
{George} [8>] *they nod a yes, following*
{Hailey} *takes stance, shifting the ground under her. She begins to 'skate' with the Earth, easily speeding up*

Esmeralda was taken by surprise when Hailey 'skated off'.
"Hey there! No fair taking a head start like that and just how do I do it anyways?" she called out as she experimented with shifting the hard packed ground into softer sandy ground which she began to slide. She quickly adjusted her balance as she slid along.

{Hailey} *circles back around, still standing on her stone 'skating platforms'*
"You'll get the hang of it with practice. I can take George with me so he doesn't hold us up if you'd like. And while you're on the right track, sand sliding, you'll want to make sure you're standing on something solid to."
