*Golemancy. Tektite's area. Looks like a pretty large farm for both plants and animals dominates the majority of the land that can be seen. a bunch of small golems, and a few larger ones, all made of varied materials, though its mostly wood, stone, and plastics*
*someone with dark skin faintly tinted green is standing near a place called 'G-mart', and they smile and give a wave when they see you*
Esmeralda somehow just knew which door to go to next. Once she walked in the area and saw a variety of creatures? But who or what ever they are, they were friendly. She paused to ask

"I would like to speak to Tektite. Where might I find her?" she asked one of them.
*the small wooden Golem has a body of simple construction. body, head, 2 arms, 2 legs. hinge joints and some ball in socket joints are what let it move. in the center of it's chest is a golden circular object* [8<] ... *after looking at you a moment, the Golem points over at the Lady who had waved to you*

{Tektite} "Hello!" *the lady is calling out* *she seems happy that you're the kind of person who seems ok with talking to Golems*
"Thank you very much." Esmeralda spoke to the little guy.
"Hello, my mane is Esmeralda and I am in need of a butler to help me around the house while I do my classes.
One like that little one that talked to me. He was very friendly and moves quite well. May I buy a build a butler kit that is like him? I'll pay you for helping me so that I won't mess him up. I will want to build a second one as well but I have only so much money and I gotta stretched it through out all of the classes I want to take." Esmeralda spoke as she glanced at the golem she liked.
{Tektite} *mmh. just a tiny bit less thrilled when you mention build a butler, but there's still plenty that can be learned about Golems through Build a butler* "Like them? sure. should be around 35$ for the Core, and 20$ for the Body." *she leads the way to inside the store, headed for a room towards the back. looks like the store has plenty of food and toiletry options. all the necessities. there are also some survival tools available*
*the backroom has a wide variety of parts. different types of legs, tool arms, lighter or heavier bodies, and, numerous cores with little to distinguish them from eachother* *Tektite is already starting to pick out the right body and limbs*
Esmeralda was certainly amazed at all of the gadgetry there was that went into a butler.
"Uhhh.... it looks a bit complicated so maybe I should take the class first then make the butler and a maid....... I thought it would be easy to put one together....
Please teach me all about golems first. I can start tomorrow morning. And I don't have that much money with me at the moment....
I'll put money in the Greed Bank or do you want to have coins from my world? I have a few silver and copper coins with me. I do have some pure gold coins at home....." Esmeralda looked around as she followed Tektite through the shop as she picked out the various parts.

"Is there one that can help with building a home? I am taking classes from Dell and Hailey...... But I can do a bit more I think. Please advise me...."
{Tektite} *hands, claws, saws, pushers, scoops... plenty of parts*
"Its easy. if you use build a butler. all you need to do, is pop in the joints, and put in the core."
"But, if you want one better suited for construction, then we should probably use Plastic, and not wood, for the body."
*smiling wide,* "And if you want to know how to actually make Golems, I can teach you."
"If you want to start tomorow, that's fine."
"Wonderful! How much do you want for the three golems that I want to build? I'll bring the money tomorrow. I also will need a few other things.....Do you have some sort of a time piece? If not, I'll ask Dell about it. I'd like to get some fresh food if possible.
Here are the type of coins that I have. " She pulls out her coins to show Tektite.
"I haven't had lunch yet and anything simple would do. Some bread, a bit of cheese, fresh fruit..... You have some many things here!" Esmeralda spoke as she looked at various parts.
{Tektite} "Well, A Golem can easily be made with an acute sense of time, and can be asked to remind you about things when needed. And, I guess we've also got watches available over in the survival section of the store. And fresh produce is grown here for free. unless you're caught taking much more than you need."
*looking at the coins,* "mh. yea, those will work here. And if you learn Golemancy, and build them totally from scratch, then the Golems won't cost anything."
"Then I will take a bit of vegetables and fruit.....I'l like to build a butler that has a keen sense of time first. One that is similar to that one I liked over there.
Then a mate for him for the maid. Then lastly the one to help me do construction work.

As far as survival items, what would you recommend for a student to have? A time piece would be something I want and perhaps something like compass in case I go hiking. Washing machine and clothes line would be handy as well." Esmeralda began to think of items that she could use in her own home.
{Tektite} "You might find a compass to be quite useless around here. Laundry can be brought here for Golems to wash & dry for you, and I'd advise picking up a small hatchet. Axes can be real useful."

*moving on to the matter of the butler,* "adding clockwork sense to the Golem will cost an additional 1$." *she exchanges the current, ordinary wooded head model with one that has a watch built into the top of its head*

*ordinary wood arms, legs, body... ordinary wood head+clockwork sense... simple common sense Core. if this is what you want, you just need to pop the pieces together*
"How much does it cost for the Golems to do my laundry? I'll need a cart to pull it in. A hatchet.May I put him together here in case I do something wrong?" Esmeralda asked she looked at the pile of parts .
"Do I need any tools?....... Tell me more about Golems as I put him together, please."
{Tektite} "the laundry is free, so long as you're polite to them. we've got baskets available. You shouldn't need any tools for this. just pop the joints in, then slot in the Core."
"Golems utilize a little bit of Life energy to run. most Cores only need a little bit to operate nearly indefinitely. And the joints+other critical mechanical parts also have an incredibly tiny amount of Life energy, so that the Core can actively use them. However, Fully sentient Golems do take up a good deal of Life energy to make. Especially Energy Golems Like Me. Mass production of Energy Golems could cause irreversible damage to the Earth."
"There are tools for drawing a little life out of the land, and infusing things with it. There are also more specialized tools that exist, but I don't tell anyone about them till they've learned and worked a great deal more."
Esmeralda listened as she put the Golem together.
"How much Life Energy do I need to get to start with? I only need some for my butler. I don't think that I'll need much to go for the big guns.

But I'd like to know more about how to take good care of my new butler and what I can do with him. Like what chores can he do and can he bring my laundry here to be washed." Esmeralda spoke as she put the the last part together.

"He looks really good..... Would it hurt if I put some clothes on him? That way I can be sure to have the right one and it would protect his body from getting scratched up."
{Tektite} "These parts are pre-built. they've already got the life energy they need. And they can perform any well explained task that is within their physical capabilities. Taking laundry here for you and bringing it back should be easy enough."

*when the core is slotted into place, the Golem slowly comes to life, a dim glow coming from it's eyes* [8<] ? *it sits up, looking around*

{Tektite} "Clothes would only hinder the joints, but a hat or bowtie make for a nice accessory. As for if the Body get's roughed up... well its made of wood, so it should last quite a while, unless you have them do something that's tough on them."
"What kind of decisions can a Golem make on his own? How do I know if I am over working him?
Hi there. I'll call you George. What do you think of that name?" Esmeralda spoke as she looked at her new butler.

"Do they like having a friend or does that matter?"
{Tektite} "Simple ones, like that it should chase after a piece of laundry if one happens to blow in the breeze, as getting all the laundry back would be a part of getting it cleaned... not that loosing laundry should be a concern. as for overworking them, most Golems are designed to be capable of constant motion at a safe pace. it is very hard for a Golem to move in a way that might casually break itself."

{George} [8<] ... [8>] *a funny looking smile forms on it's basic 'facial features'. it seems to have accepted the name*

{Tektite} "More sentient Golems may enjoy friendship, but it is slightly less important for minor Golems. in fact, Golems without common sense added in can fail to recognize eachother, and display terrible teamwork. this one has common sense, so they'll work well with other similar Golems."
"Perhaps in the future, I will make another Golem. Do they need a bed or anything like that? " Esmeralda smiled at George who responded back.

"What else do I need to know? Perhaps you can set up a class or two for me? I will be working with Hailey in the morning and Del in the afternoon. I can do your class in the evening. Just something for like two hours. "
{Tektite} "minor Golems don't need beds. they're better off standing."
"As for what you need to know for Golem Care, George should be able to bring any personal issues to your attention. unless something drastic like they ended up catching fire happens. but there would likely be worse issues to deal with by that point. I'd advise, start it off slowly, and see how much work they can do for you, till you figure out yourself what you trust them to do for you..."

"And as for lessons, you're welcome to come by whenever you can. Oh, and be sure to tell Dell that you've got an interest in Golemancy. He can help teach you more about hinge types, and other things that are useful for Body construction."

{George} [8<] *resumes neutral expression, looking at you to await orders*
"Thanks so much, Tektite. I'll just pick up a few things to take with me and pay you for George and such. " Esmeralda spoke with a smile.
"Come with me, please, George. Take this basket. Good. I will put what I need in this basket and you can carry it for me. "

She went through the clothes and found a couple bow ties for George. Some veggies went inside as well as bread. She gathered a few tools like an axe.

"Ok, Tektite. How much do I owe you for everything?"
