The city of Tianfal is full of mystery and intrigue, its several corporations which dominate the city are constantly engaged in an underground war with each other. However something is changing, something the corporations can't quite put their finger on. People are disappearing, not too many to be very suspicious but quite a few are still going, a mysterious organisation has showed up only known by their initials, U.H.C.C.U and the president of the nations government in which Tianfal resides is supposed to be visiting to make a speech. Wanting to find out what is going on and to ensure that nothing bad happens to the president the corporations finally agreed to a temporary truce to create a task force of the best agents they could gather to find out what was going on. Though every agent holds ulterior motives

the world is still controlled by nations, however, the only way they can keep the influence of the companies/ corporations is by heavy policing and military power.

The corporations are large conglomerates of smaller companies, each doing their own thing. However, in order to increase their profits, each one started developing its own part of military tech with which to sell to the militaristic governments. This meant there were several large rivals next to each other, each with huge power and influence and heavy amounts of weaponry. As such they fight out heavy underground wars to cripple each other and put themselves at the forefront of the market.

The temporary truce was signed by each corporation leader, to make sure that whatever was going on in the city was sorted out. For if it was something problematic, they would rather deal with it before they all get destroyed. Secondly if the president dies then the military will be called in to finally deal with their private forces.

So the agents were all finally called together, one from each of the five major corporations: The largest and strongest: Silver Industries, the others Nymph Technologies, Pinnacle Corp, Skytech and the smallest Magitech. The meeting place was a slightly darkened business room in which a corporate businessman in a suit and a government agent awaited the agents arrival.

The businessman looked up and over the first two arrivals, tugging at his tie in a nervous manner. He had a ferrety look about him, one of a man constantly worried by life and would bolt at the first sign of trouble. "Aha" He muttered distractedly before commenting to himself, "Biggest and the Smallest at once eh?"

He continued starring at the two for a while afterwards, looking appreciatively towards Ceci, but with a more distaining look at Malvia. On his suit was now visible a small business card proclaiming his name and corporation. It read Carl - Silver Industries.
Carl peered forwards at the Skytech card before nodding slowly, his small seemingly unblinking eyes not changing much. Though there seemed to be occasional flickers of disdain and disapproval towards Malvia. Finally, he spoke up, "Surely Magitech has not fallen so far behind, its agents are that ..." He paused searching for a word, "That indecent... and don't get me started on your hair dyes" He spoke turning to Chenelle.

"We won't Carl." The voice cut through the man's agitated outburst. It came from the government agent in the corner.

"Aha, yes, sorry." The man apologised to the agent.
The government agent looked over at the group, pushing up his glasses slightly with his index finger. "Ahem, lets just be a bit calmer as we wait for the other two to show up. It won't be long now."
The agent looked up, eyes hidden behind the glasses, "The agents will come, they wont dare not to come." He made no move to leave the darkened corner he was almost lurking in.
(OOC message here, to make this an rp which actually continues I am gonna say if by tomorrow the others do not post I will replace them. Is that fair?)
The agent finally looked back up at the waiting group, pushing his glasses back up on his face. Just for a second, he allowed the light to flash off the lens on the glasses.

"Well, well. It seems the fourth member of our little soire has arrived. The man from Nymph technologies, leader in robotics I do believe."
The corporate man, who still looked like he was permanently looking for an escape route surveyed the group. "aha, four corporations here. I am surprised there are no fights breaking out. Well I guess that must be a good thing."
The agent finally stepped out of the shadows, "Well, well well. You all came. That was... actually unexpected for you corporations..."

He took a second to push his glasses back up firmly over his eyes, their reflective surfaces hiding them under their polished surface. He slowly and deliberately pulled up a chair and sat down, slowly turning his head to look at each one. "Well, as you all know, strange things have been going on in this city. There are people going missing around the place, rumors of a strange organization showing up. Whispers of dissent against the government, all ahead of a scheduled visit by the president."

"You all know what this could mean should he die while on this visit don't you? Chaos, anarchy ..." His tone dropped to a tone that while it wasn't quite threatening, definitely held some elements of a warning, "The military might have to be called in."
The agent turned to stare briefly at Maliva before turning to the rest of the group, "Well, I'm glad we have that ... out of the way."

The man from Silver Industries was less forgiving, "How dare you speak to a governmental agent that way! You're not even from one of the big corporations, your just ... someone from Magitech. You wouldn't have even been there if we didn't need to make up the numbers!"

The Agent held up a hand, "Please, we shouldn't fight. Not yet anyway, save that for the terrorist groups, we will have to fight. So first let us introduce ourselves, we will, after all, be working together for a while. I will start, my name is Ether, I am from the department of counter-terrorism and I will be leading this squad."
Ether motioned to Chenelle and Asroc before speaking, "Your names please, even if you don't want to speak."
Carl glared Maliva and Samantha before exclaiming, "aha, I think you will find it's Silver Industries, not tech. I just thought that I would correct you on your pronunciation."

He continued peering at them with a smug look on his little ferrety face. It was a look of victory, no matter how small, that allowed him to continue feeling superior.

Ether sighed and looked at Maliva, "I said terrorists didn't I? Yes I have information that you don't, information on what we are up against. Information I can give, if you all stop bickering. Save that for after the meeting."
Ether looked around the group before speaking, "we are up against a growing underground organization of anti-government terrorists. They call themselves the shadow state. They seem to believe that assassinating the president and his officials will allow them to take their positions and usurp the president's authority. We know that their base is in this city, as well as several cells hidden inside the corporations. "

He paused, letting the information sink in before readjusting his glasses. "They also have some form of superweapon from what we can gather called the DOT."
Carl watched Maliva and Sam with a particularly nasty look on his face, the disdain at a level that topped what had even been shown before. "Will it be such a laughing matter if it kills you?" He asked them nastily. "At least the agent from Silver Industries has the right manners." He put stress on the word Industries.

Ether didn't show any reaction towards theirs, "We have no idea what it is or what it stands for. However the cell we are going to target first apparently has information on what it is."
Ether looked around, "It is your problem because this Shadow State wishes to destroy corporations, so if it takes over then your heads are all on the chopping block. As for their superweapon, while we don't have information at the moment after we raid this base we should have more information on it. Understand?"
Ether looked up, "As soon as you are all ready."

He stood up and moved towards the exit. "We have a copter waiting to take us to our first location on the roof seven stories up, how you get there I don't mind. It'll give you some time to get to know each other or contact your corps. Well, see ya there." The doors opened and he stepped through and headed off.
Carl nodded distractedly, "Aha, you can stay... but don't take too long. Ether is waiting for you above." He turned around and began slowly checking his watch as if he couldn't wait for them to go.
Ether was waiting on the roof, sitting on the edge of the helicopter examining a pistol which he a produced from one of his pockets. Looking up he noticed Ceci, and nodded towards her. "Greetings Ceci, on time and prompt like any agent of Silver. Tell me what do you think of your colleagues?"
Ether looked around the group and nodded contentedly towards the group, "Right, you were all pretty prompt here and that speaks volumes for how efficient you should be on our mission."

He turned and pointed towards the inside of the helicopter, "there are enough seats for the lot of you, in rows of three facing each other so take your pick for which ones you want." He turned and quickly opening the door to the pilots' seat got in there, readying the helicopter to leave.
Ether looked in one of the monitors in the front which displayed the people in the back, smiling wistfully before looking back up again. Poking his head out of the window he called to the two still not inside the helicopter, "Please do come inside, we don't have all day."
