As a man of high priorities, Influence didn't see this operation as important as his- their- advancements in technology. In fact, he didn't expect much from this meeting. As he walked down the streets, keeping his posture high and regal, he could help but believe that, at the very least, his employer could send someone of less importance to this meeting. After all, it was bad enough that he forced himself to stay awake at night just to finish and perfect their technology, though in all honesty he was always someone who had to get work done. Prioritize. Know what needs to be done for the future of his company...

Maybe that's why they chose him.

Fingering his right wrist then adjusting his headgear, he continued to look down on the other citizens who walked the street beside him.
Ugh, lets get this done, He thought, not wanting to waste any more time than needed. He had a tight schedule. Barely acknowledging the guards, Influence walked into the building.
"Are you there yet ? I have an appointment in a few and then I have to work." *said the slightly annoyed but mostly amused voice of a young man, leaned on the guardrail of the frontdeck of the imposing cruise ship.*
-"Yeah right, as if I didn't hear the music and the people artying in the back... And yes I'm here, and it's not thanks to your crappy map. Seriously, how can you be so bad at drawing Mal' ?"
-"Hey it's not my fault if you can't follow instructions !"
-" 'Turn after the second weird neon' isn't an instrcution, you dumb tourist !"
-"Wahtever Cal' ! You've found it yes ? Now, there's some arrows on the wall, double tap where they point at."
-". . . Really ? You live in the slum and you have a hidden notepad to reveal a secret door in a dead-end streat ? Why ? Just ... Why ? Nobody ever comes here, why would you have taht installed ?!"
-"Nobody comes because nobody knows I live here, now just put in the code I gave you yesterday and lock behind you and don't go out until I call back. And only call me if there's an emergency okay ? I'm going to be busy in the next day.."
-"Yeah about that, what kind of job do you do to have that kind of security ? and who works at this hours anyway ?"
-"Cal', what did I say ?"
-"... No questions.. Right.."
-"And I told you, I'm just a humble usurer trying to get by."
-"tchh, yeah, that's a likely story... Nobody even uses that word nowadays. Anyway, nice crib Mal', for a 'humble usurer" that is..."
-"Hey don't touch anything Caleb, Those things are very precious, they come from- . . . Did.. Did he hang up on me ? wow, the nerves on that guy... pfff, and now I'm worried about coming back when I haven't even started the job, great..."
*Putting his communication device back in the pocket of his worn out skyblue whool jacket, the disappointed clubber turned around and headed back to the bar, and stayed there until the boat arrived in Ataros.*

(here's some zic*)
*Walking alone in the rain is never fun, unless you like to dance in the puddles. Which is exacltly what Malvia was doing, his headphones on under the whool hood, the young man was swinging alone throughout the docks, playing with the heavy bag of "tools" he carried arounfd for his mission. It contained stuff that should have never gotten past custom, but thanks to the reach of his employer the officers hadn't even checked.*
*And so he was, making rythmic splashes with his short black boots, not caring for a second if his slim neon laced leggings were getting wet, as he was for once in a good mood and ful of energy.*
(here is more sound)
*At the end of the busy harbour, having a calmed down a bit, Malvia turned on the purple neon drawing of a tribal fox on his black top, and the spiralling lines on the legs of his pants, making him instantly more a part of this flashy town. He hailed a cab and pointed the driver to an address in the Neon Sky district.*
*During the ride the agent proceeded to an instantanous relooking, using his hair mod to change the color from a flashy pink to his natural white coloration, he spike them with some lotion, and then cleaned up his face from the "party make-up" as he called it. He removed fake bags under his eyes, a red shiny glyph on his cheek, and a mirror like gloss on his lips. Once clean, he looked at his naturally snow like complexion with contempt.* "Tchh, you look like a ghost even when you're natural.." *he hissed at himself.*
*Waiting for a red light, the white fox applied some pink powder on his cheekbones to have a semblance of a normal face, as well as some reddish lipstick and a thin touch of blue underliner on his eyelids, contrasting with his deep green eyes, on which he carefully put augmented lens that would surely be needed during his next assignment whatever it would be.*
*When he climbed down of the car, adjusting his earpieces, the driver looked at him as if a different person was climbing out of the car.*

~

"Such a lovely neighbourhood..." *he thought for himself as he visited the district admiring the pretty lights and the creative names of the diverse workshoop. Malvia stopped at a bar that was playing some old club music from a foreign former country. Finally, after some time and a few exotic drinks with name as scatterbrained as their color, the young man went to the meeting place.*
*Adjusting his bag on his left shoulder, he was called to the counter by an old biotechnician covered in augment, tatoos and grey hairs. and a very sharp northern accent*
"Hey kiddo, you're new here aren't you ? What can ol' Jim do for ya ?"
-"Well, I just did some traveling oversees and I was worried about my hand, maybe you could check it out and see if there's anything to repair or change ?" *Said the whitehaired youngster, showing his left hand that was wrapped in a black leather glove from which a razor sharp metal claw pointed out of each fingertip, holding a red card in it's palm.*
"I was told by a friend that you had the best service in town so I came here with this reduction card." *His burning gaze was drilled into the merchant's eyes, a playfull smile curving his thin lips.*
Anyone else would have hailed a cab when they woke up, an hour later then they should have in order to get to an important meeting miles away from their small apartment. Especially when they looked out their window, the one that was half covered in a tarp in order to cover the shattered glass, that she was defiantly going to get fixed soon (and by soon, that just means hopefully within the next five years) and saw the torrential downpour outside. But of course, Sam wasn't anyone so she just skipped breakfast, instead deciding to shove five pieces of bubble gum into her mouth and sprinting out the door as fast as she could.

Sam ran outside, grabbing her hoverboard, an old model that was covered with stickers, and hoping on it. She sped down the street, ignoring most street lights as she swerved around cars and narrowly avoided pedestrians, to engrossed their digital headsets to get out of the way of the reckless red-head.

The rain did not seem to be bothering Sam as she sped forward through the streets, her head tilted back so the water droplets landed on her pale cheeks. Her bright red hair reflected the neon lights around her and her long tail, dyed the same red color, stretched out behind her. It did not take her long to arrive at the entertainment district. She began to slow down, slowly steering the overboard closer to the destination. She tapped her watch a few times which lit up blue, projecting a transparent hologram before her. She checked the time, muttering a quiet curse as she realized that she had almost no time left to get to the meeting.

Sam hopped off her hoverboard, picking it up and pressing a small button hidden on the bottom of the board. It began to retract, folding up into a small keychain that she shoved into her pocket before surveying the district before her.

Sam paused at the edge of the crowd, narrowing her eyes at the crowd. Usually she would have attempted to blend in with the crowd, but she looked so out of place compared to the people around her that she decided to not even bother. Everyone in the crowds seemed to be dressed in fancy water-resistant clothes and sporting flashy mechanical enhancements.

Sam on the other hand, was dressed in a black leather jacket that looked very worn out. There were holes and cuts along the sleeves, covered in messily sewn on patches that barely seemed to be attacked to the fabric. Each patch was a different neon color and most were decorated with some sort of logo and name. She wore a neon green tank top under her jacket with the name Candied Skull etched out in an even brighter neon pink. She wore tight black pants with jagged holes cut out of the fabric and had a black bag with similar patches to the ones on her jacket, slung carelessly over one shoulder.

Sam also had no visible mechanical limbs, as the hacker always thought of them as dangerous. It was far to easy to just hack into someone's robotic limb, and way to much fun to watch them frantically flail around as they suddenly started doing some weird dance moves or something equally as ridiculous. Not that Sam had ever done that before, because that would most defiantly be illegal.

Sam took a deep breath, trying not to be intimidated by all the people around her and tightly grabbed the strap of her backpack. She really hated crowds, but it wasn't like she had another way to get around them.

" 'Scuse me. Commin' through." Sam shouted stepping forward and pushing her way through the crowd. "Outta the way jumbo, I got places to go, people to see!" She continued, squeezing her way past two people deep in an argument. For once, she was glad for her thin frame which made maneuvering through this crowd of people much easier.

After a minute or two, she finally burst through the other side with a gasp of relief and looked forward at the door before her. She immediately noticed two guards standing by the door, holding semi-machine guns and looking calm. She took a moment to compose herself before walking up to the two of them.

" 'Ello there." Sam said, flashing them a grin and raising her hand to wave. Neither of them returned her greeting and Sam lowered her hand with a scowl. "Alright, I get it. Ya ain't super chatty. What ever." She reached into her pocket, looking for the card. It took her a moment to dig out the red card and show it to them. That finally got a reaction as they stepped out of the way and opened the door for her.

One of the guards led her to the meeting room and Sam quickly crossed the room, sitting down in a chair in the corner. She swung her bag off her shoulder and sat down with her arms crossed, waiting for the others to arrive.
Chenelle lived in a relatively old building on the outskirts of the entertainment district, by herself and away from most people. Even though the building was old, it wasn't too old to have access to electricity and running water, which was all she really needed.

She spent most of her time either at home, at work, or wandering around the entertainment district. She frequently visited the different mod shops, though she hadn't bought anything herself yet.

Her job was something she didn't usually talk to anyone about, though she doesn't talk to strangers much anyways, and has few friends. Whether her job is legal or illegal, ethical or unethical, is something most people won't figure out. However, that's not the only thing they won't figure out, as most of her personal life seems to be a secret.

This particular day she had returned to her home for about an hour, enough time to get ready for the meeting she was supposed to go to, after being outside all day. While she was home, she made sure her phone was charged, and she had everything ready that she needed for the meeting.

She then glanced at the mirror, checking her appearance. While she didn't really care to speak to people, she still wanted to appear professional at this meeting, something which she didn't usually care about either, as evident by the dozens of bottles of different colored hair dyes, and all the packages of colored contacts.

She usually liked to have bright bold colors for her hair and eyes, though for today she settled with changing out of her orange color contacts, to a pair of smokey grey ones. Her hair was currently a bright pink. Unfortunately though, she didn't have the time to dye it, so she settled with French braiding her long hair, before folding it up onto her head, and placing a dark purple beanie over it, making sure to tuck all the loose strands of hair under it.

She then double checked her attire. She was wearing black skinny jeans with a small rip over each knee, a dark grey tank top with a pocket over the left side of the chest, a black and white plaid stylish jacket with a light grey hood, black and white Converse All Stars, and two silver rings on her right hand. She wore no makeup, except for chapstick and clear nail polish.

After that, she double checked her bag to make sure she had everything. The bag itself was a light brown messenger back, with a Totoro pattern. Inside the bag, she had her fully charged phone, a note pad, a couple different pens, pencils and markers, a bottle of clear nail polish, her red card, and a few other necessities.

She then headed out of her home, taking her old fashioned skateboard as her ride down the streets to the mod shop. Even though she was nimble and able to dodge most people without stopping, it still took her a good while to make it there, though she wasn't late.
His schedule seemed more than full tonight.

Ever since he got this new job, it messed around with his DJ career. Like, really, really messed up. So many gigs, cancelled. He was about to cry just by the mere thought of all that money, down the drain. His new job wasn't even enjoyable, and for the record, it paid even less. So what's even there to like?

Well, they picked Vox up because he was good at blasting things. And I mean, really good at blasting things. Also, he had a good taste in music (they didn't hire him for that, but Vox thought they did). And don't forget, he was real charming (also didn't hire him for that reason). But there was something that was part of the job that he wasn't exactly keen on.

.... Hurting people. And even the extreme situation; killing people. Behind his happy demeanor, was that part of him that he never wanted to bring up; he was actually able to kill without hesitation. That's something for another time, though.

Vox knew that his coworkers probably hated his guts, too. Like, really, hated his guts. Everyone always said that he talked way too much, or they just told him to shut his trap. Not to mention that they couldn't stop staring. It was probably his helmet that made them stare. They were jealous of lil' ol' Voxy; cause he's so cool.

But enough about that. Let's get to the juicy stuff.

The DJ leaned back in his car seat. Currently, he was listening to some tunes that played in his helm, which made his head bob back and forth to the beat. He had received an assignment from his from his new, crappy job. Now, he couldn't exactly disclose details, but he had to be on the lookout for any suspicious activity. Now what the hell does that mean? Everyone in this city looked suspicious!

I'm looking at you, Mr. Bagel Mascot....

Vox had eyes. He had eagle eyes..... Or was it hawk eyes? Whatever. The point is, he was watching. Always watching....

Things are only going to get a lot more complicated from here. And Vox knew that. His job was.... Well.... He knew that the people in charge weren't always making the morally good choices. In fact, there were a lot of people who opposed them.

But if there were one thing that he knew for sure; was that he was right in the middle of it, and there's no easy way of getting out.
*Malvia took great delight in the confused and mixed expression of surprise and light panic that had appeared on the face of "Ol' Jim" as he realised who he was talking to, and how.*
"Ah...! Hum... Well, Sir, it's-uh ..; It's just this way, third on the right.. Have a good day ! ahah...."
-"Why thank you, such a welcoming shop... I'll be sure to give it a great review..."

*Chuckling to himself, the young trickster passed behind the frnt desk and explored the short corridor and finally found a door with a reservation sign lit up.*
*Taking a deep breath and his best 'work smile', Malvia deemed the brightness of the neon weaved in his clothes, and opened the door muttering for himself* "I hate contract meetings, why do they never send an email..."

*The room, altough it wasn't that big, felt cold and empty, especially with armed cyborg and the skinny redhead nestled in a dark conner of the room. The only sound in here was the heavy machine-assisted breath of the guards and the caracteristic sound of popped bubble gum.*
*The fox, quite relieved not to find any corporate stuck up waiting for him in here, let out a sigh, and cleared his throat to indicate his presence, closing the door. Hiding his large bag under the table at the center he grabbed a pair of chairs and lined them to another, before laying in this improvised bed and give a little yawn, putting a pair of colored glasses on as to hide his closed eyes. It didn't took long for the lazy clubber to get sleepy, especially since he couldn't close his eyes even once on that damned boat.*
Someone is finally inside, Influence thought, annoyed that no one else bothered to come at this time. Opening the door and walking into the room moments after the colourful figure, Influence took a seat further away. He wasn't here to make friends after all, he was here to make business. The only way he'd make friends was if he had a use for it, such as for a beneficial reason, which was highly unlikely at this point. Instead, he was looking up the news, listening to the audio on his rather funky headphones. He then glanced at the other member of this meeting, noticing that they were getting comfortable. At least someone is finding home at work.
Ceci woke up and looked around her apartment, her eyes falling on her alarm clock. “Why didn't it go off?” She asked herself. She quickly got up and got dressed. She called a cab to get herself to the building quickly, hoping she wasn't late.
When she reached the building she quickly paid the driver and rushed inside, looking around and sighing before taking a seat at one of the available spots

(Sorry, I was off for thanksgiving break)
Sam lifted her head and looked towards the doorway as people began to trickle in. She wore a hostile expression, her eyes narrowed and her lips turned downward in a scowl. She absentmindedly blew bubbles with her gum, popping them loudly to break the silence of the room. No one seemed to be talking much, nor did anyone make any move to introduce themselves.

Sam was paying close attention as each of the fellow agents walked into the room, her eyes picking out every detail in the hopes that they might be of later use. As the third person walked in, Sam opened her bag with her tail and drew out a small notepad, in which she began to write.
beep beep beep

Shiro squinted open her eyes to the irritating sound of her alarm clock. Groggily, she slammed her metallic fist onto the clock, silencing it. Shiro, commonly named as Z4, heavily dragged herself out of bed. Moodily, she slugged over to her wardrobe to change.

By the time she was finished getting changed, Z4 was wide awake. Z4's wide eyes were yellow, she had straight, raven black hair reaching halfway down her back, and olive skin. Z4 wore a plain button up shirt, however it wasn't so visible under her heavy, black coat the coat was made out of black leather, which was adorned with various buckles and zips, especially around the arms. She wore combat boots, and skinny black jeans, which were a tad bit too big for her. She covered her hands with black driver gloves.

Tucking in her dog tags and carefully stealthing her pistol away, Shiro headed out the door.

Shiro decided to use public transport today, purposely stopping at a station to pick up a batch of crossword and other logical puzzle books. She finished them in the time it took for her to reach the first stop - perhaps 15 to 20 minuets.

From the station, Shiro walked directly to the mod shop, not stopping for food. She had a cold aura to her, for she seemed emotionless as she walked into the building. She even dared to stare at the intimidating guards who stood outside, eyes empty in expression. She could almost outmatch them in intimidation with how calm she oddly was.

She entered the meeting room just in time for a moody redhead to take out her notepad. Shiro glanced at everyone in the room with her vigilante, yellow eyes as she picked a seat, - as isolated as she could from the others - her boots emphasizing her heavy, yet oddly smooth steps.

She sat down slowly, both hands on the table. Shiro's coat buckles and zips clicking together quietly, imitating the gentile ringing of cat bells.
The silence hung in the room for what felt like hours, all the while Sam was getting more and more restless. She kept glancing up from her notebook, looking around the room at everyone impatiently before jotting down a few more notes in her book. Finally, Sam could not stand the silence any longer. She let out a loud sigh, before shutting her book carefully and marking the page.

"So not a really chatty bunch eh?" The red head stated loudly, more of a statement then a question. "Dat's fine, I guess we aren't here ta make friends. Still, it seems like the rest o' those people are gonna be late so maybe we should at least introduce ourselves, rather den just sittin' here in silence."

With that, Sam stood up and she swung her tail around to wrap around her notebook, lifting it up and placing it into her backpack. She crossed her arms over her chest and blew a large bubble with her gum before continuing. "I'm Sam, from the great Pinnacle Corp at your service." She said, giving a dramatic bow to the others. "And who da hell are ya'll?"
"... Spencer. Though, I prefer Influence," He admitted as he turned off the radio on his headphones, "member of Magitech. No idea why then sent me in."
Influence glanced towards Sam, realizing that she was probably in the same boat as him. He sat up, still looking rather bored.
"I honestly have other things to do so can we start without them? Yes?"
Ceci looked up and followed the conversation then said, “Ceci. Silver Industries.” She was following their conversation closely, noting how they talked and what they did. Their habits, based on what they did in the first few minutes.
Z4's bright yellow eyes watched the people in which surrounded the table. Her gloved hands were still on the table. She was unmoving, expressionless. Z4 did not speak, as she wanted to keep communication to a minimum. She just.. Watched until she would be directly instructed, or asked to speak.
Influence tilted his headgear.
"Protect the president? Destroy the Shadow State? I can't help but feel that we're here as guard dogs," he moaned.
It was missions like these that bugged him. He had put himself as "more important" than attack and defence sorta things. He was Influence. He was higher.
"Was that the point of the meeting? To tell us that we're the president's security because his current one is trash or something."
Sam rolled her eyes at Influence's comment. She took a few steps towards where the screen were, examining them closely before turning around and responding.

"I doubt dis is da whole meeting. I mean, we haven't gotten any real instructions yet but yeah, I guess da basic gist is that we gotta protect the president. Quit whinin' about it. There ain't nothing bad about bein' bodyguards." Sam didn't mind playing guard for someone, especially someone as important as the President. She turned away from Influence and back to the screen.

"So is that all da instruction we gonna get? Cause I feel like we are seriously lacking on info. Don't we need ta be briefed on who da shadow state is and what we gotta be doin' ta protect da president?" She asked no one in particular, expecting the screens to light back up with more clear instructions.
"humpf !" *Malvia threw his legs up and then used the momentum when they fell back down to rise up on hi feet. *
*Jumping lightly on the table as he was walking on air, the young man touched a dial on his glasses and inspected the holographic projector with curiosity.*
"Hoi, is there any technician here ? or a hacker of some sort ? I'd like to know if this is broadcasted from somewhere or if it's just a recording..."
*Seeing as noone moved, Malvia aised a brow and looked around before making a little* "oooh right.." . *He swiftly jumped down from the table and reached to his pocket, secretly glancing around to see if any of them was tensed at that gesture, and pulled out a red card and a Silver Industries ID.*
"The name is Malvia Frostwood, but please call me Mal'. Or don't : it's not like I really care anyway. I'm specialized in infiltration, intel gathering, guerilla warfare, hand-to-hand combat and strategy. On my good days. "
*He took a long look at every one of the agents, actually scanning them with his lens, and smiled* "Nice to meet you all, I hope you survive this mission and all that. Now..."
*He looked back at the floating projector and let out a sly giggle.*
"Welp, I'm bored already, Imma go get somethink to drink at the vending machine outside, and who knows, maybe catch whoever we are supposed to meet that controls these two..." *he pointed at the two heavily modded guards with some disdain.*
*As he passed over the table again to reach the door, the white fox bended backwards to hand his head upside down and ask* "Does anyone wants me to bring back something ? I've got spare change."
"As much as I would like something," Influence started, "I doubt it'd be served here."
He glanced towards Mal, then Sam. Then, the rest of the room. There seemed to be an uneasy tension, so he made a decision.
"Though, I'd be happy to accompany you."
After all, Mal seemed like a character He'd wanna know about.
Sam raised an eyebrow as Mal spoke, crossing her arms and looking at him with interest. It was no surprise that Silver Industries sent two agents, of course the largest organization wanted to have as much representation as possible. But she was surprised that he was a Silver agent, after all Silver Industries was known for their straight-laced agents and she had expected Mal to be from one of the smaller corporations.

Sam shrugged before walking back to her seat and sitting down. "I guess I'll give it a go an' try and trace da signal but I suspect it's gonna be highly encrypted and I doubt I'll be able ta do much." Sam said.

She reached into he bag and pulled out a computer. It was a clucky computer, with wires sticking out of the side and a little antenna in the top corner. Sam had built it herself and although it was rather hideous, it has state of the art technology and was any hackers dream.

Sam opened up the computer and logged in. She pulled a small chip out of the pocket of her backpack and examined it. It was small and looked like a spider. She carelessly tossed it towards the projector, where it stuck to the side and began to glow red. Her computer screen began to fill with code and her fingers flew across the keyboard as she began to type.

"I'll see if I can isolate the signal and run some decryption on it but it might take a while." She said to herself before raising her voice to address Mal. "Do ya mind getting a gal somethin' ta drink?" She asked him, not bothering to look up from her computer.
Ceci had been watching from her seat, a little surprised that they sent two agents from Silver, but it didn't show on her face. She decided that the other agent must be good if they sent two agents. She went over what the video had said and murmured, “Azure, blue tie. Okay”

She watched as Sam played with her computer trying to search for a signal, but considering how the man, assuming it was a man, had left nothing in the video besides the tie and the name to identify himself, she was sure that there would be no signal to trace, but she still watched with feigned interest
