As with any community within Furcadia requires, this dream, too, has its own set of rules, to prevent a state of anarchistic hostility within the dream's environment. Should you wish to continue your time here, these rules are to be respected and adhered to. Failure to comply with these rules, depending on the severity violation, can result in warning, probation, or banishment without appeal.
○Bullying - It is unfortunate that we should have to mention this, but this rule is zero tolerance policy. Should discrimination, harassment, or denigration of another individual occur against any individual in the dream at any time occur within the public realms of the dream, immediate, swift, and stern action will be taken to end the situation. Should this be in the form of a personal dispute, utilize the silence rule, and if this does not work, contact a Guardian within Furcadia.
○Canon Characters -
Not permitted. The characters you create should be original characters that you have created yourself. Simply put, characters from other established and copyrighted universes will not be permitted to play here. While the characters you play here almost have no limits, a character from outside this universe will not, and can not, fit the canon. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a warning, and the character will be blacklisted. Repeated violations by the same user will result in more stern offenses. Attempting to play characters after they have been blacklisted will result in more stern offenses than the first warning. This rule does not apply to canon races, but if you are playing a canon race, please discuss it with staff first.
○Public Roleplay - If you are holding a public roleplay, or partaking in one, receive all characters that partake in the roleplay equally. All players are expected to receive one another with full respect, courtesy, and welcoming attitudes. If you are to hold a private roleplay, do so in private areas without recording public emits. Intentionally excluding someone from an open, public RP and leaving them out is considered
bullying and will not be tolerated.
○Godmoding and Metagaming - At no time may a character be unnecessarily overpowered, or control another user's character's actions. While you have complete creative freedom over your characters, all characters should at the very minimum be balanced. A relatively strong character should also have relative weaknesses. If you believe that your character is a little 'too strong' and you need to check with staff to see if it is playable, reference the character's RPR to a staff member and staff will go over it, and approve or deny it. If it is denied, we will point out the character's discrepancies as to why it was not accepted, and if you ask, we will provide suggestions for your character
○Restricted Characters - These include:
• Universe Closed Species.
• Canon characters.
