Inchoate Offenses
Crimes of preparation for or seeking to commit another crime.
-Attempt, the willful intent and enaction to commit a crime that, for whatever reason, was not carried out to fruition.
-Conspiracy, an agreement between two or more persons to break the law at some time in the future.
-Solicitation, the act of offering goods or services to another person to commit a crime.
Crimes against a Gentleman, Lady, or Citizen (freeman) of Anaheim
Crimes taken against the person of a citizen or noble of Anaheim.
-Assault, committing physical harm against a gentleman, lady or freeman.
-False Imprisonment, the unlawful binding or restraining of a gentleman, lady or freeman without justification or consent. Also includes kidnapping.
-Sexual Assault, forced or unwanted sexual actions taken against a gentleman, lady or freeman.
-Murder, the intentional or unintentional killing of a gentleman, lady or freeman.
-Blackmail, threatening to reveal substantially true and/or false information about a gentleman, lady or freeman to the public or to another individual unless a demand is met.
-Failure to Meet a Challenge, refusing the challenge made by a gentleman.
-Breaking a Contract, the failure to fulfill the requirements of a legal, written contract or a verbal contract made in the presence of at least two witnesses who are both citizens of Anaheim and of good character.
Crimes against Property
Crimes against the property of a gentleman, lady or other citizen of Anaheim.
-Arson, setting fire to the property of a gentleman, lady or freeman of Anaheim.
-Robbery, illegally taking possession of the property of a gentleman, lady or freeman not belonging to the one taking it.
-Extortion, unlawfully obtaining money, property or services from a gentleman, lady or freeman through coercion.
Crimes against Justice
Crimes of interference of the pursuit of justice.
-Misprision of a Crime, failure to report knowledge of a crime to the appropriate authorities.
-Obstruction of Justice, interfering with the work of an officer of the Guard or deputy of the Sheriff.
-Forswearing, willfully providing false information concerning matters material to a crime or judicial proceeding.
Crimes against the Crown
Any crime against the Crown necessarily carries a heavier punishment.
-Malfeasance in Office, the violation of the duties of a servant of the Crown in service to it.
-Treason, any crime taken specifically against the Crown or the Seat of Crown.
Defenses to Liability
These are defenses which may excuse the commission of a crime.
-Defense of Self, the commission of violence for the sake of protecting the life or limb of oneself or another gentleman, lady or freeman.
-Defense of Property, the commission of violence for the sake of protecting the property of oneself or of a gentleman, lady or freeman.
-Duress, the commission of a crime as a result of violence, threat or other pressure against oneself.
