CHARACTER RULES
No making your character OP (Unless you clear it with me or have a good reason).
ANY character can join, but keep in mind that it's more likely that a strong character or one with magic or a special ability would be chosen to fight.
Having your character die is okay, but it may be useful to say if you're leaving the group afterwards. In addition, if you'd like to leave the group, you must have your character die in battle first. That way, it will be easier for me to manage the RP than if someone suddenly left, and we can avoid continuity issues.
Your character can be any age, after all, the organizers of the arena don't care about age, just fighting ability. It is recommended however that your character is over 8 years old.
IC RULESYour character cannot know where they are when they first show up in one of the arena's holding areas.
Your character cannot start out in a dorm. Dorm privileges are earned by fighting and winning battles.
Don't enter the main arena unless you're called in for a fight.
Don't enter the training arena unless it's your designated training time. You don't have to train if you don't want to.
Any characters who try to escape will likely be killed if caught, so if your character tries escaping the Arena, BE CAREFUL!!
You must post at least once per day, or at least try to. If your character is in a fight, you must try to post at least 3 times a day to make the fight run smoothly. If your character isn't interacting much, try posting at least once a week.
You may have as many characters in this RP as you want, but make sure you can handle it!
When your character starts out, they will be sorted by gender and power levels. There are 2 power levels: Strong (Strong, controlled abilities/magic/tech), and Intermediate (Strong, not very controlled magic/abilities/tech, or medium strength magic/abilities/tech, controlled or not very controlled). For characters who have totally uncontrollable magic/abilities/tech, there is a DANGER level. Regardless of strength or gender, any uncontrollable characters go there. For example, a medium strength female with well controlled abilities would go in the holding area labeled Intermediate-F.
Your character cannot break out of the holding area due to an ability-blocking bracelet around their wrist (If your character has abilities), a magic-blocking bracelet around their wrist (If your character has magic), or having their tech confiscated. If your character goes into the Strong holding area, or has strong, not very well controlled abilities/magic, they will get a collar around their neck. The same goes for characters in the DANGER holding area. These collars/bracelets will be deactivated during fights and training, and tech will be returned during fights/training.
If both characters are knocked out during a battle, it's invalid and will need to be redone.
Your character will be carried into the holding area by either guards (If they are a low threat level) or robots/drones (If they are a high threat level).
FIGHTING RULESNo godmodding/autohitting/powerplaying/metagaming.
You can use healing moves in combat.
No letting your character die unless you plan on leaving the group.
We will be using a freeform, make/react system for fighting.
I MIGHT add more rules later.
