Kris muttered to herself something about boys whenever John acted like he was going to leave the group because Eliana was not paying attention to him. There was a lot going on and it was easy to end up getting distracted.

She came running over at the appearance of a wounded person. Though she did spare a moment to scowl over at Korbin, "What sort of question is that to ask while he father lays here bleeding? What is wrong with you? I'd set a plague of insects on you if I didn't have to use magic to heal."

The elf was not going to be stopped by anyone, pushing past the confrontations to kneel next to the wounded man. She glowered at John, blocking his way. "This man is wounded! I can't have you interrogating and restraining him while I heal him," the elf hissed, the air around her thrummed with magic. "If he's bleeding internally as you say, I doubt he's going to cause much trouble at the moment."

Taking bandages from her pockets, she began to unroll one of them and clean the wound to better look at it. Uncorking a bottle, she poured it over the wound to clean it. It would sting, but Kris would not accept much misbehavior out of any patient, "It's going to burn, but that just mean it's working," she said absently. One of her small, rough-looking hands brushed along the wound. A small amount of magic was sent in, allowing her to explore what was happening.

Korbin rolled his eyes when Kris wasn't looking.

"One thing I value much more than the life of any person is understanding and openness. The situation was under control, what with you and John providing him with medical aid." Korbin said nonchalantly.

He didn't enjoy the fact that she was oblivious to his ethics, but he could understand why she would be oblivious.
She grasped the Thompson and felt it was loaded then looked onto the man, "Better out of sight. Teleport!" Everyone got teleported into a private room located in the guild headquarter. Other than the chance of scenery and location, everyone was in the same position before they moved. "So" Alisa said as her aura became professional, "Arisa? What does the card say?"

"Eeek! Y-yes!" Arisa said as she took out another guild card, which immediately filled in with the man's information, "U-Unexpected Hero....and Otherworldly...s-so."
"...It seems he wasn't summoned...which makes this a lot more problematic" Alisa continued Arisa's phrase while her panther ears twiched, "We can't send you back either...and the possibility of your timeline teleporting onto this world has a chance....For now you are staying in this world...and Arisa will explain to you the rules of this world."
John was a little bit annoyed with how Kris reacted to the situation.

"I saved him by clotting his wound early. Not to mention my medicine is probably a lot better than hers but I didn't have any of it on me"he thought to himself.

John stood up out if his squatting position." The situation seems to be under control. Do you mind sending me back to the guild please?" John asked Alisa
"I think we already are in the guild John." Korbin said, looking around.
"Wasn't summoned? Not even by a god? Is that even possible?" He looked confused.
John took a good look at his surroundings. He didn't notice he was still in the guild. He got distracted by Andrei and then was teleported. John gathered his thoughts.

"Thanks Korbin. " He chuckled.

"Il be on my way I have important things to do. Update me on this situation later." John started to walk towards the door.
Eliana blinked as she was teleported. She ended up sitting by Kris. She was honestly just trying to process what was happening. She felt... weak and shocked.

Why is Fazer here? he doesn't belong here.
"Elf. I appreciate your healing but please calm down. Zere's no need for argument wiz zis Archer. You are good friend wiz mi daughter, yes? Zen ze two of you make honorable comrades."

Andrei began to light up a cigar. He felt it might lighten the mood as it normally does back in his "Mother Russia".

Andrei looked towards Korbin. "Son, you aught to be more sympazetic to human life. It is a good attitude to have, and people will respect you more. I tell you zis because you seem like intelligent young boy. "

He puffed off his cigar. Andrei had such a charming and cheerful demeanor about him he seemed difficult to not get along with.
"Understandable from your position as far as I can tell. However my mind, disposition, and thought processes are all oriented towards mathematical and logical outcomes rather than connotative value. It's been that way for me since childhood in fact." Korbin said, looking over towards Andrei.

Damnit slow yourself down Korbin, don't let them know.
Andrei took a good look at Korbin for a moment. He gave him a look of understanding. Then he lowered his voice and looked Korbin in the eyes saying:

"You know boy, zat zought process is very good. Now zink for a moment, how you can use and apply zose processes to social situations. You can formulate and produce outcomes in a deductive manner similar to your maz. Zink of how you can bend situations to your will."

He shot Korbin a smirk.
Fazer must be here by mistake. Zere's no way he came here intentionally. It wouldn't make any tactical sense. I know ze soldiers look up to his leadership...

It seems likely zat he's just trying to do what he needs to get back to our world as quickly as possible. If zat's ze case zen he's just playing it cool and earning enough trust to get his weapons back....

I need to be careful. If I mess zings up for Fazer he'd be so mad... and disappointed. I have to be useful to him.
Korbin lowered his voice as well.

"That's precisely why I put logic and mathematics above emotions. I have used it to literally talk my way out of a death sentence." Korbin said with a smirk.
Andrei nodded but kindly replied "Right, but do a better job hiding ze fact zat you have little to no empazy. Wearing ze mas of sanity, no?" He just smirked.
“As a healer, I have to value life above all, even being transparent and open. It’s my calling. I think just about anyone can agree it’s rude to antagonize anyone while their father is wounded,” her voice was filled with venom.

She also wasn’t happy with John. “I’d missed you pouring an antidote on his wound, which was quick thinking on your part. But you asked for a healer, after all. How am I supposed to work if my patient is being restrained and threatened?”

Whenever she had finishing healing up the wound, which would be sore and tender for a while, the elf had instructions for her patient. “Mind that you take it easy for a while.” Finished with her work, she sought out Eliana. Sitting down next to the other female, the elf put her arm around her shoulders. “Are you okay? Your father is going to be alright. He’s fine now.”
Dozens of possible remarks, retorts, and the like came to Korbin's head but he knew that they would simply be an expression of weakness, so he kept silent.

What she doesn't understand is that I simply do not often find value in someone just based on the fact that they are human. I find value in their actions and their words.
"what the hell is going on out here ?" leo says as he walks to you all .
Eliana was super pissed and emotional because someone had attacked her father and John had been so insensitive.

but i don't wanna show too much in front of father. I want to be strong for him. And i want to impress him.

She simply nodded at Kris and said "yes of course"

She hated how she could be stirred up like this.
Zis Korbin has all ze building blocks for a perfect leader. All he needs to do is learn how to keep his personal opinions on morality to himself. Surely he's better zan my daughter...

I need to convince him to come back wiz me. Zen i can dispose of my hot headed daughter.

Never have i met a boy who was more like me from young age.

Andrei puffed off his cigar again, laying low.

"Of course elf, I'll take it easy. Now what did you say your name was? I simply must know ze name of my daughter's best friend and ze girl who saved my life. "
John went into a private room where he wrote a letter to the king explaining how he's been feeling.

" My King, I have been overseeing the new hero's for sometime now and they have progressed quite well. However I cannot help but feel unfit for this duty. I am not sure whether it is my age, experience or personality but I do not feel like I belong here. I only feel I am not respected in this environment whether it being ignored by hero's or unreliable to them. They always call on Arisa to help and never myself. The guild has given them good role models that are much better than myself. I humbly request that you relieve me if my duties to these hero's. I do not have what it takes to be what these hero's need.

-Sincerely John"

John then sealed the letter and walked downstairs to the guild receptionist.

"Hi there. I have an important letter that needs to get to the king where or what do I need to do to get this to him?" He asked
