Still fairly confused John pulled over another Guard and asked for the full story in detail.

He sat the guard down and got him something to drink since he did look shaken up.

The Guard began to explain. John listened closely.
Jamed hears the others talking from a distance so he stands there listening while looking at the item he got at the blackmarket. As alisa mentions that she just faded away he realized if he had been there he could have thrown an undead hunter charm at her so he could track her even after fading away. "Knew I should have moved faster earlier. Shouldn't have given those spirits a chance." He says to himself
Alisa would take the page and calmly observe it for a few minutes. In the meantime, Arisa pulled a guard over and asked him to bring Angelo in from the guild house then afterward spoke up, "U-um...I just happened to return from Mast since they required me of something so I was only to see a glimpse of the battle. I think Korbin has a riddle..for this right?"

The guard that John pulledover explained the situation to him from what he had heard, which was the minister of foreign affairs had been assasinated by some diplomatic envoys who were human, which really suspect them to be from Mast but they're unsure at the moment.
"Yes I do and it goes as follows: 'A death will come soon, done by a lovely red and a knight. Those who should of been dead are still living. The Rats are lucky, for they have gotten the best. Yet....the question remains...is vengeance for her breathens sweet for the knight? Is a life of such minister worth it?'
A life of such minister obviously refers to the minister of foreign affairs. The lovely red and the knight are in reference to the killers but that's as far as I've been able to discern." Korbin said.
Kris appreciated the listening ear that John was lending to the guard, even if John was likely doing it to learn what happened just as much to let the man speak.

She listened intently to the account from the guard, chewing her lower lip and tapping her fingers against her chin. “It seems another target remains, since the minister has died but they are speaking in the plural. ‘Those who should hav died are alive.’ Have they been trying to kill the Minister for some time? Who is the next target most likely to be?”
Once John heard everything he needed he smiled.

"Thank you for your time. I understand how scary this could've been for you but it's all ok now." He said we a smile.

John put one arm on the man's shoulder and shook his hand before standing up from his table.

The whole time he still had a weird feeling however totally oblivious to Corbans presence
Alisa looked to the guards, "Leave us please. I wish to talk to them alone." The guards looked at each other before leaving. There should be the heroes, John, and other vital people. Once the door was shut, a Silence spell was placed around the room where no sound would escape. She sighed and was definitely worried. She took out her phone and placed it over to the heroes. "Tell me if the picture looks familiar to you" she asked. Picture 16 was on the phone while 17 was the next picture after it.

(The pictures are in gallery)
James notices the room suddenly went quiet and goes over a bit curious on what's going on in that room. "Hmm what could they be doing in there?" James says to himself. He reaches the door still hears nothing "huh guess the meetings over" he says as he waljs away.
The elf took a moment to admire the spell's handiwork. Kris shook her head, "No, it does not look familiar to me." She watched Alisa, her brow furrowing when she saw that the young woman looked worried.

Turning over the details of the riddle in her mind, she asked Korbin, "What were you doing when you got this riddle? You could've immediately told us about it and we could've tried to put our heads together. I even approached you, and you still rejected any company."

"Where is James?" she asked, looking around and sighing with annoyance. She cast a spell meant to send a message to someone over a distance, seeking out James. The words were meant to go directly into his mind, rather than being sounded out. "Where are you? Did you get lost?"
Korbin looked over the picture, shaking his head.
"No I don't recognize this. And Kris, I had received the riddle not too long before the minister had been assassinated. This was after you had approached me previously during the banquet. I'm not sure if you had seen her or not but there had been a young girl in some of the lower branches of the tree that was around where the banquet was held. The girl had teleported me over to her and that was when she had given me the riddle after a brief conversation. About me rejecting company, it was more out of habit than anything." The way Korbin said the last part made it seem as if there was something more to it than what he had revealed but seemed to leave no room for argument.
The message gets in his head as he's walking around and it's excruciatingly pain full "gah! What the hell was that?!" James says looking around then thinks for a moment. Then after a moment he realizes and says "Oh her. I'm sick and tired of that shit." He starts looking for kris to figure out why she keeps messing with his head.
"Maybe I am overreacting..." she said as she took back her phone as the sound proof magic disappeared, "I have to apologize for the....disruption for the party but I'll look into it with the riddle you have given me though... I have to say that I do not know the girl you are talking about since I have been surveying the area. The guards haven't told me either so, if she's real, just beware of her. Next time if you have a piece of information, inform us, so that we can prevent another better. Other than that...do please enjoy the city. Any questions?"
Kris could be found in the room they where having the meeting in, unaware that the messages she sent via spell caused pain for James. She still suspected that James had some sort of brain damage, because he wandered away from the meeting.

She retorted to Korbin, "Of course I didn't see her, or I would have said something. It was a banquet that was specifically celebrating the summoned heroes so hiding in a corner was hardly the thing to do," she chided. Pausing for a moment, she said, "We should use your sketch and try to see if anyone around the town has seen her, or knows of her."

Having listened to Alisa, she asked her, "Should we try to seek out the Rats and question them?"
"No, I'll handle them since I am more familiar with the Rats than you guys have. In the meantime you can tour around the city or do some guild quests." Alisa replied, "If you're willing to hand us the sketch then it will provide great use."
John joined up with Kris and everyone else.

"Sorry was just getting the story straight guys." He said with a quick wave and a smile.

"So what seems to be the plan now?"
Kris looked over at John when he joined them. "Alisa is going to go and speak with the Rats. I've offered our assistance but she knows what she's doing and will go to see what information she can get out of them. In the mean time, she's encouraged us to carry out some guild quests. Korbin has a sketch of the assassin, which is going to be used to try and look for her. I sent a message to James through a spell but he hasn't gotten back yet." Her voice lowered, "I'm still convinced something is wonky with his head," in an aside to John.

The moon elf stood up, "We should see what guild quests are available, as Alisa has suggested."
"If there is nothing else, I'll bid you guys good night" Alisa said. Arisa was quiet but didn't say much, since this was in theory out of her jurisdiction and she did come on behalf of the Kingdom of Mast....

(Skip to next day or no? If yes do we want to skip to guild or anywhere you guys want or it is up to you.)
((I am fine with skipping to the guild.))
((Fine with me))
